Hi fellow Yelp Reviewers, I ordered a custom MacBook Neo, and an iPhone 17 pro with custom case and screen protector, and custom pro 2 headphone's. I like the fact that custom headphones arrive quickly and about 1/3 of the time the customer service is up to par. I enjoy the atmosphere.

Was in Seattle on vacation and my phone broke so I set up an appointment on the same day to get it tested. When I first came my phone get tested at the bar. The worker who helped me was so knowledgeable and kind. He tested out my phone with a few tests to see if it would be able to be rebooted. When nothing worked, he helped refer me to a sales associate. The sales associate was also so helpful, he informed me about the different phone options and the different price options. He put no pressure on me to purchase anything, which I really appreciated! Here are some pictures I took in Seattle with my new phone!!

Disclaimer: I did not make a purchase. Service appeared to be good. Multiple people asked if we needed help while we were browsing. This store is a destination - it's stunning. The architecture is so beautiful I had to look it up to see if articles had been written about it. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, it's also spacious when looking at products and laid out well. They even offer classes right in the middle of the floor. The inside-outside vibe is so awesome. If you're in the area and like to look at pretty things you need to stop in here.

Lots of Apple Watch straps on display, practically none in boxes for purchase. Lots of stuff hanging around doing nothing.

About two weeks ago, my favorite K-pop group, LE SSERAFIM, was in town and during the encore, they came out in full UW gear. After researching, I found out that the gear was from University Book Store. I really wanted to buy the hat that Chaewon wore and was able to find and buy one there. It was a University Book Store exclusive printed/embroidered on '47 brand Hat. There is a reason I am telling this story though! While I was there, I looked around and see what kind of merchandises they were selling and I noticed that they have done collaboration with quality brands such as Lululemon, Champion (reverse Weave), Adidas, '47 Brand, New Era, etc. Clearly, whoever is in charge of designing the fan gear here knows what they are doing. They also had a clearance section upstairs with items marked down up to 50%. If you're a current UW student or UW Alumni and haven't been here in recent years like me, I highly recommend checking it out. Check out my photos of all the UW gears that LE SSERAFIM members wore during the concert.

I've also noticed that books are arranged similarly to Barnes & Noble. I've been told that the books are carefully arranged and sorted via subcontracted by Barnes & Noble, so if you're interested in that, this is definitely the place for you. The prices are a bit high, but they do go back into student support and activities, so it's a good investment. Also, there is a 20% discount or specific dates and timelines along with promotionals for students. but I don't think that these discounts apply to text books. I definitely recommend a university bookstore.

I've had a change to chat with security staff at the front and some, former military are super caring and kind. I feel super safe around northgate. Given the fentanyl and crime rate in the area this extra level of safety reassures me. The store is always clean and well displayed and the staff are knowledgeable. I think this store attracts a specific personality type and I noticed that some staff focus more on the specs of an item rather than focusing on the customer. It's hit or miss. Having come from sales and the service industry, I think that the emotional iq aspect could improve. I'm not giving this location a bad rating. I hope that my feedback can serve as a learning opportunity if you want. For example, I often have to find an associate to find something if there isn't one at the front by security. Sometimes, the staff will speak as if I am knowledgeable about tech and I hope the staff person can ask me what my knowledge of tech is first before processing. Value is fine. The Best Buy regional number gave misadvised me and I the staff seemed clueless at this location. I still like shopping here and they randomly have a good selection of toys.

I wanted to get an extra wireless keyboard and mouse so I could have one at work and one at home and wouldn't have to carry them around. I asked about them in the store and was led to a plastic box that was filled with identical wireless keyboard mouse combos. I picked one out and asked where the chip was. This should have tipped off the clerk that I was not tech savvy. As I suspect many of there customers are not. She told me the toggle was under the mouse. I got the set home and did not see a toggle under the mouse (latter I found out she was saying dongle). I looked in the battery chambers of both the keyboard and mouse and did not see it. I called the them and was told to check the battery chambers of both the keyboard and mouse and once again I didn't see it. I was told that this would be a once in a lifetime that a chip was not with the keyboard. I brought the unit in and we looked in the keyboard battery area next. Then we looked we looked at the mouse and they pointed out a built in dongle compartment in the battery chamber of the mouse. I was never told there could be a built in compartment when I was in the store or later on the phone. I have since find some YouTube videos that explain where to find the dongle. This tells me I'm not that only one to have trouble finding it.
