I came in and bought a Mac Mini today and everyone that works in the store is very friendly and it is just a very nice store over all. I had Robert as a salesman and he was very helpful with explaining everything about the computer to me and showing me some accessories as well and how they worked, a super employee in my opinion. As the owner of an IPhone, I grew extremely concerned when I went to unplug my phone from charging, and the entire phone was so hot, it could not pick it up. I unpluged it and waited for it to cool down before I picked it up again. In talking to my colleague at work, she told me to Google "IPHONE 5 FIRES" which I did. Obviously, APPLE is aware of the issue of IPhones catching on fire. I called the (800) number and reached their call center in Florida. After describing the issue to the staff member, he then ask me "did the phone warp due to the heat?" and "could you pull the SIM card to see if it melted." Clearly, that sends a message this is not an isolated incident. He was unable to assist and suggested I phone the Temecula store for an appointment. I had my appointment on June 30, 2015. After describing the issue to the person behind "the Genius Bar" (this term only contributes to the attitude of some of their employees) he told me there was no problem with my IPhone because it did not go over 112 degrees, according to the diagnostic he performed. He was unwilling to discuss it further. It was at that point I asked to speak with the Manager. Moments later, John arrived full of cocky attitude. He was totally impressed with himself, unprofessional, and was only interested in talking over me and having the last word. He obviously was not at all concerned about the severe heating of the phone during the charging mode. It's unfortunate someone with such a caustic personality would be given the title of "manager" when clearly, all he could do is impress himself further by using all his techno lingo. The most alarming part about this story, is he never once demonstrated any concern about the temperature of the IPhone during the charging process. When I reached a point of total dissatisfaction, I asked for his business card, to which he informed me he doesn't have a business card. When I asked for his last name, he replied "I don't have to give you my last name, I told you my name is John." As a result of such poor, uncaring customer service, I will purchase another phone from another carrier and it will certainly NOT be an IPhone. I don't expect Apple or the Apple Temecula office will go out of business as a result. However, I am taking this opportunity to spread the word about my experience. Google "IPHONE 5 FIRES" read more

Apple products are probably my favorite products in the tech/digital market. However whenever it comes to actually going to an Apple retail location without fail there's at least an hour to an hour and a half wait. I don't even think I'm particularly mad at the staff I think it's just a ridiculous model of an in-store experience. I even asked them to hold my place in line to wait for the hour and a half while we did other errands came back and they had all of her information input incorrectly and they made us wait another 20 minutes. I think it's best to just completely bypassed the Apple store and go to Verizon or T-Mobile or wherever your phone retailers and purchase from there at least they treat you like you're a customer who has a life outside of waiting for Apple products. This'll probably be the last visit I make to an Apple store without an appointment and hopefully if we do come back to get service done we can actually be taken care of with good customer service. Like I said I'm still huge Apple fan and probably won't use any other product but their Apple stores are probably one of the worst in the business. read more

The dress code for Apple is confusing to me. It seems like many of the employees are encouraged to dressed in a relaxed style but it can be taken to a lazy level consisting of wrinkled jeans and what looks like house slippers. The associated are pretty friendly from what I've experienced. However I did enter the store on a weekday when there were ample amount of employees. I needed a case for my new iphone and stood at the display for a good fifteen minutes without being talk to or even acknolwedged. I tried my best to look like i needed help and even those associates who were not with customers who made eye contact with me did not approach to help me. I had to approach a gentlman working there and ask for his help. Reading customer cues is not their specialty. Also on a different date when the store was having people line up for Ipads, I witnessed an associate turn away a customer who wanted to buy an Ipod because they would have to stand in line with the Ipad customers. They wouldn't even let her in the store. read more

The people that work here are so incredibly rude. I had an appointment and after checking in, my name was never called so after waiting around for a half an hour, I went up to an employee who was just standing around and asked him for help. They were not able to solve my problem or help me at all with my iPhone and I ended up walking out of there in tears. DO NOT GO HERE. If you have a problem, save yourself a trip and call the corporate office instead. They are much more helpful and willing to help. read more

On 03/14/2102 I visited the Apple Store in Temecula. I was greeted by an employee weraing a stocking cap! (great first impression!) I stated that I wanted to pre-order a iPad3 and all the accessories. He showed me to a laptop computer and said, "Just fill out the form on this computer...." We were near the entrance and two attractive young ladies entered and that prompted the employee to walk away leaving me to try to place my order without any help or guidance. After a fustrating attempt to do so (I 86 years old and am not computer literate), I flagged down another employee and he was able to guide me in placing an order. Can't say that I was impressed by the service and can only hope that others have a better experience. I am very disapointed that Apple allows this type of behavior in thier stores. read more

I've been a fan of this Apple store since I received an exceptional customer service a couple years ago. I've bought 2 IPads, 3 laptops, and 27 in IMac in the past. One month ago, I took my IPhone 4S since I had a problem with screen. Their Genius guy said he couldn't fix it. He could reset it to a default setting to see if that would fix it but I would lose all of my data. I told him that I needed to think about it and went outside the store. There was a vendor there selling Mac accessories and also repair iPhone. My husband asked one of the guys there to look at my iPhone while we were having a lunch. Well....we received a call within 30 minutes that it was working. He didn't charge us at all since he just opened it up and started working itself. If I had listened to the Genius guy at this Apple store, I would had lost my data or spend a few hundreds dollars for another IPhone. Apple needs to train their employees to improve their customer services. read more

I went in roughly 2 days ago to see something about my brothers Apple ID with my mom. Shortly after we were finished, my mom, my brother, and I came upon a weird looking charger that I haven't never seen before. Luckily, a lady was there next to that charger actually helping another customer, but then she was free within one minute to talk to me. Since I am really good with names, I know who to think, and that lady's name is Amari. She ended up showing me the three great features of that one charger, which include the capability of charging an iPhone, and Apple Watch, and AirPods, all at the same time. The name of the charger is Mophie wireless charging dock. £107.15 is the price of that charging dock. It is really cool looking, but the version that I saw is an updated version, which did not have a USB port in the back like the first generation version. At least I really like it, though I do not have AirPods, it would still be great if I did, so I could charge three devices at a time. read more

Let me start with this before my rant, if you can go to any other store but this one, do it. Employees are rude, customer service sucks, it's almost as if calling them "geniuses" has given them some kind of ego to feel superior to the customers, WHO ARE SPENDING THE MONEY THAT PAYS THERE BILLS BY THE WAY. anyways. I broke my phone went in, they said they had to ship it out, and it would be 5-7 days until my new phone arrived. I waited for an email text call , anything to let me know my phone has arrived, got nothing. And everytime I called it sent me a dial tone. Finally after spending 4 days making multiple phone calls I finally get through to someone, they said they took care of it just go in the Apple Store and they will help me. So I go there, they said it would be 10 minutes, an hour and a half later they bring me out a phone and tell me they can't activate it (never ran into this problem any time ever before. Literally never) ado not to mention the loaner phone they gave me while mine was being looked at DIDNT EVEN WORK. Had to use other phones for phone calls and work purposes. So after dealing with a ton of attitude from the employees, I finally leave the store with my phone , and ACTIVATED IT MYSELF IN THE PARKING LOT! Oh and I almost forgot!! I asked a genius to help make an appointment for a friend who was also having issues w their brand new iPhone 7plus not even charging or holding a charge (they were with me at the store) and he sent someone over to help (after 15 min of waiting when I see 4-5 employees Just standing around in a group laughing and talking) someone finalllly came over to help, asked if they were helping with scheduling an appointment, then before even scheduling one or anything he walked away. Not sure where he went or why. The conversation just ended. No appointment was even scheduled. this experience with Apple has literally made me want to switch to android. This Apple Store has so much potential with the location, employees deff holding them back. read more

Worst Apple store i've been to. Customer service was terrible!!! I went in to get your i-phone 5 camera fixed and was told I needed to make an appointment. When I returned 2 hours later, the "genius" who helped me seemed clueless. He just talked, and talked about nothing that had to do with my problem. He just did shotgun trouble shooting until he figured it out...with my help!!!! I walked away with a new I-Phone however, he didn't put in a sim card!!! When he installed the card, there were more problems which he again failed to troubleshoot correctly. So frustrated with this store!!!! Need some REAL tech people in customer service. read more

Think twice before doing business here. After 1.5 hours, this company refused to stand behind their product. While charging, my iPhone 4 arch-welded to the charger, became charred, and could have burnt down my house. They offered to sell me a new phone for $150. I've been to this store multiple times looking for assistance for various reasons. Only ONCE was I given decent service and that was over two years ago. Tonight was the last straw. I went in to ask about a software update on my iPhone 4 and left with a phone that wouldn't turn on. Long story short, the "specialist" knew nothing about what I needed to do to back up my phone before updating the software at home, then was of no help when I called back right before closing to tell her the information she had given me was incorrect. Funniest part is that all she ever said after every question I asked was, "Exactly. Correct." She left my phone in what she called "safe mode" because she couldn't get it to turn back on after she was done showing me what the prompts would be on my own computer using the store's computer. Well, genius, if you do a hard reset, it'll turn on just fine (which I found out on my own two hours later). AND I figured out how to back up my phone AND update the software all on my own at home within an hour. And I didn't even know what the heck iCloud is until tonight!!! For the price of Apple's products, I expect nothing less than quality customer service by properly trained employees. I will never go back to this store. read more

Just had my first terrible experience at an apple store. A cholo repetedly talked back to me about what i wanted and refused to listen to me. I went in wishing to buy a new, full priced iphone and he kept giving me my update date and price months away. Looking at his feet all bent over as if eye contact was a threat to him. Had the hard drive replaced on my iMac. It cost $185 to replace, but they wanted another $115 to return my old hard drive. I wanted my old drive so that I could destroy it, rather than leave my data on it with them. They make money off recycling the old drive. I don't like the fact that they want to keep my old hard drive "hostage" and want $115 "ransom" to get it back. The drive should have been returned to me free of charge. After all it's my property which I paid for when I bought the iMac. read more

Amy, a technical support extraordinaire, saved the day by diagnosing what was ailing my 2011 IMac after an unexpected power shortage in Menifee, left my loyal computer lifeless and unresponsive. It was raining cats and dogs, as I raced in the 215 S to the Apple Store, for if one thing is absolute, is that without my IMac, I do not function good enough. The Apple Store was unusually slow, and Amy was in charge of my case after a very short wait. I thought the insides of my old faithful machine were fried, and depression mixed with wallet shock, was increasingly getting worst. Amy got a power cord from her arsenal of goodies, and voila!, my baby came back to life! Turned out my power cord was the one that got fried, and she seemed genuinely happy for me, as tears of joy streamed down my face! $12+ cost me a new power cord, and I walked out with the firm conviction that all was well again! I have never had anything but stellar service at every Apple Store location. In Temecula recently, I had a problem when I tried to change my carrier from at&t to Verizon with a new iPhone 7plus. The model I had wouldn't work, despite being unlocked by at&t. I purchased through Apple Upgrade plan and have had it since phone first came out. They were incredible. They canceled the original phone and took it back, refunding all money spent on previous phone in full. They then started a new contract with a compatible model. They also replaced my case and screen protect with new versions.... They also activated my new Verizon plan, saving me a trip there. So, I essentially had a free phone for a few months, and once the need arose, they did everything needed to correct the issue and make everything right without additional cost..... Thank you to everybody involved.... Strong work indeed!! read more

I am so tired of Apple's arrogance. I just waited in line for the new iPhone 6 and before you call me a moron, I already know. They opened all week at 8am and I went into the store yesterday and confirmed they opened at 8am. So I'm in line this morning and guess what? Management DECIDED not to open until 10 am. What? I have a job. I cannot wait until 10. Do you even have the phone I want? You don't know? How can you not know? So you want me to wait TWO more hours (and be late to work) to find out that you don't have what I want? Um, no. Apparently Apple can do whatever they want to their customers. On Tuesday my husband showed up to drop off his daughter's iTouch for repair. Due to an accident he is on crutches. As he approached the doors, there were several employees standing around talking. They could clearly see him struggle to open the doors yet NOT ONE employee stepped forward to help him. Yes, I realize that's yelling. Because he didn't have an appointment he was sent away. Where the heck is your customer service? We are store owners ourselves. We pride ourselves on training our employees to be customer service oriented and it's reflected in our Yelp reviews. So my husband bought his iPhone through AT&T. From now on I will encourage my husband to wait until we're around another Apple store to get any service. read more
