May only experience with this store was terrible. When they sent me an email requesting feedback, I typed the following comments, to which I've gotten no reply: "Service and communication were terrible. Your website said my phone was eligible for a free battery replacement due to a faulty battery. It said to call the store to confirm the part was in and to make an appointment. From that point on, every step but one was a problem. Each number below represents a step, and shows 15 poor customer service steps. If you care, someone will contact me to follow up or apologize. If you don't, I won't hear from you. 1. When I called the store's phone number, my call was rerouted to a call center. 2. The call center advisor was hard to understand (muffled & quiet). 3. The advisor continued to press me for personal information that was not required for the service, even after I said I did not want to share. 4. After the advisor found an available appointment, I asked her if the part was in stock, and she did not know. (Keep in mind your website told me to call to make sure the part was in, but the advisor did not know.). I asked her to confirm with the store and to confirm the timeframe for the replacement. She said they had the part, and the replacement might take as much as 2 hours. My appointment was @ 6:45pm, so a max of 2 hours means same day. 5. After rearranging my evening schedule for the privilege of doing business @ the Apple Store, I checked in 15 minutes early, and was called on 5 minutes late. 6. The clerk told me the repair could not be completed until the following morning. 7. I started to explain that the phone advisor had indicated otherwise, and the store clerk became snarky, and interrupted me several times to reassert that I could not get the phone back that day. 8. I finally asked her to stop interrupting, and, after getting an eye-roll from her, asked if there was any way to make a future appointment and to be sure that the repair could be completed at that future time without waiting overnight. When I finished my question, she was silent for a moment, then said (with attitude), "Can I talk now?" 9. Her answer was no. There is no way to ever guarantee that a repair can be performed the day of the appointment. 10. I asked for her manager. The manager, Hannah, was very helpful. Although she failed to apologize for the misinformation that day, and failed to get the repair done that day, she set aside the battery for me and told me that I could come in at the beginning of the day any of the following few days and they would repair my phone immediately. She even called me later to follow up. 11. Next day, I showed up early in the day without an appointment (as discussed with Hannah), and dropped my phone for repair. The store clerk (different one this time) said it would take 60-90 minutes. I offerred to give him my alternate cell number so he could call me when it was ready and he said, "We don't call. We just give a safe amount of time so when you come back, it will be ready." He said to come back in 90 minutes. With all of Apple's tech, is it really not possible to notify a customer when their repair is done? 12. I came back 95 minutes later. Waited to talk to a clerk, and was told it would be 15 more minutes. I thought 90 minutes was the 'safe' timeframe? 13. I came back 15 minutes later and was told it would be 5-10 MORE minutes. I asked the clerk, "what if it isn't?" He assured me it would be. I told him the last 2 clerks also assured me. He was completely unsympathetic. 14. I came back 10 minutes later, and it was ready, but the clerk tried to charge me $79. 15. I explained the replacement was done under the 'warranty' offer. He wandered around the store for 5 minutes trying to find a manager to correct the charges. Why could he not have handed me the phone and let me go, then corrected the computer on his time? 16. He never could get a manager to help, and finally did something that allowed him to give me my phone, but I had to sign the $79 ticket. read more

iPhone 7 was having trouble so I made a same-day appointment. They were able to reset my phone and get it working again but also had a backup ready in case I continued to have trouble. Unfortunately I did have to come back in a few days later -- the store was busy and crowded so I was dreading a long wait, but they were adequately staffed and surprisingly able to see me within about 10 minutes! As promised, they had a phone waiting for me and helped me transfer my info. I wasn't ecstatic I had to go in twice but the service was so great - such friendly and knowledgeable employees - still had to leave a great review. read more

When you go there, look up Andre & Dustin, they have give me the best service, I have a MBP, mid 2007, they both helped diagnose the problems I replaced the HDD, & had some others small issues, all were handled with great care & customer service! It is a great location, since Aspen Grove is closed for renovations until 1August. This staff steps up to handle anything and everything with outstanding professionalism. my iphone5 battery recalled. Made appointment with Support by phone with the phone person confirming my battery was bad. Waited 15 min past my appointment in store at Park Meadows. Young man came over and said he was "Triage only", took him 5 tries to get HIS software to work to AGAIN verify my battery bad. At that point, he tells me that the store has NO BATTERIES! They received shipments daily but had not received batteries. I asked him to please make an appointment for me in 15 days so that I could get a new one (warranty work). No can do....calendar won't schedule that far out and oops, we might not have a battery for you. I asked for them to set one aside when batteries received...Oops, no can do, customer has to be at store when battery available. OMG! what happened to customer service? read more

I was having issues with my 2 week old iPhone 6 randomly rebooting itself this morning. I stopped into the Apple Store a little after they opened at 10 am, which was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday. The host checked me in and said might have to wait over an hour since the geniuses were slammed and I had not scheduled an appt. I took a seat at the table and within minutes Kelly stopped by to ask me details about my problem. She used some gadgets to perform diagnostics and found my phone was undamaged but defective. She came out with a brand new phone on the spot and took the time to help me set it up. I was out the door with a working replacement in around 30 minutes, free of charge. Exceeded expectations. A widow in my senior citizen neighborhood asked me if I would take her iMac in to see if they could repair it again, (free) since what she had done when it was under warranty had returned. I took it in after church today and was told if I wanted to wait around for 45 minutes they could have a tech look at it, but the computer was no longer in warranty, and they only warranty their repairs for 90 days, which had long passed, as the lady had moved here from Sacramento. I own Apple stock, and have owned at least 4 Apple computers, and maybe 5. I will not buy another one as the way I was treated today is atrocious in my mind. I asked if I could just leave the computer and come back next Sunday, but no. (I live 15 miles away.) Maybe they are too successful? read more

Ordered online and received a guaranteed 30 minute window for pick up. When I got there, on time, I was told by three care specialists to stand in a walk in line. All the reservation guaranteed was for me stand in the walk in in line? Given, Apple was very cooly aloof (yes, it is possible, but only in an Apple Store) about rapidly shunting me into an organized line. The fact is their guarantee of an easy online order, pay, and pickup isn't true. You will be placed in the same walk in line and have to wait whether you made a reservation or not. read more

I purchased my new iPhone X last week online and had it waiting at the store. After 10 minutes they finally were able to hand me the phone. I wanted to bring it home to set it up but the employee made a mistake when he scanned it and my current phone stopped working. He didn't know what happened so he opened the new phone and switched the sim card and threw away my old one. Six days later I am still unable to activate my phone and online support is sending me back to the store for help but they are booked until tomorrow. Awful experience! read more

My friend spent $400 on a pair of Beats Studio Wireless Headphones from the Apple store for my birthday. The ear-pads both started to come apart at the seems. So I called Apple and was told that they were out of warranty and could not be fixed? I never expected to have them fixed for free. However, I was told that they do NOT have repair options and or facilities to fix problems yet? So they tried to sell me a new pair and told me that they are not going to fix them? The headphones are still in excellent condition and work properly. The ONLY issue is that the seams of the ear pads are coming apart. Why would Apple/Beats not have or offer repair service to customers for their VERY expensive products? Before Apple, Beats had a repair facility. Why would Apple or a customer want to get rid of a pair of $400 headphones that work great just because the ear pads are coming apart at the seams? I am very disappointed with Apples inability to support their products, especially when it is something small like the ear pads? Maybe they should spend more money on better quality ear pads instead of the beautiful, but VERY wasteful and expensive packaging? I am completely perplexed and disheartened by this lack of concern or care about their customers and products!! They were not $59 headphones from Walmart! They were purchased at the Apple store in San Diego. I asked about purchasing an extended warranty when I received them and was told they just purchased Beats and had not worked that out yet. Today when I asked about replacing the ear pads, I was told the same thing. They had not gotten to that yet? Below is what I was told by the Apple representative as the reason why they do not offer repairs "For most services involving Beats, the devices are usually replaced rather than repaired due to the turnaround time for service being faster and less expensive for the customer and the company." So although they charge a premium price for their products, they do NOT have an option to get them fixed? Sounds like this is an issue that is perfect for customers to read about on Yelp, Google, Facebook and the BBB since they refuse to do anything besides try to sell me a new pair of headphones. I walked in during a week day without an appointment to get help backing up photos and videos, and updating a very old computer. Nick was incredibly helpful. I came in totally stressed out, but he explained everything to me simply and thoroughly so that I felt reassured. When plan A didn't work out, he had a plan B, C, and D. Today I went to the Apple Store at park meadows and saw one of the reps there that nice and helpful to ask my questions too. So I waited for him to finish up with the customer he was helping. He notices I was there so he asks if I need help and I said I was waiting for him to finish. He finishes with his customer, looks at us, and turns around and go socialize with his coworker. I kept looking at him because I was so shocked of what he did so he looked at me and went to ask if other people are doing ok. I have worked in retail in the past, I have worked in an office and I'm currently a medical student who works with people all the time and I have NEVER seen such disrespect in my life. I brought my iMac in for a repair (Mac randomly rebooting in the middle of programs). I was pretty certain I needed a new video card, and after a diagnostic, I was told that was the issue - so I signed some stuff, got a quote of 500$, and left my Mac there so they could replace the card. 4 days later, they called me and told me it is ready. When I arrived, they tell me that my video card was actually fine, so they just didn't do anything. No repairs, no communication, nothing. They mention some vague information about my RAM being the problem, and then they assure me that if I replace my RAM, my problem will be solved. Frustrated, but relieved I didn't have to spend 500$, I go home and instantly purchase more RAM online. My RAM arrives days later, I replace my RAM, and feel good about fixing my computer... But an hour later it restarts randomly again! And again! The RAM wasn't the issue! I am almost POSITIVE that I needed that video card. I read online that my specific iMac model (27in late 2011) actually had faulty video cards, and they were replacing them for free at one point! The fact that they neglected to do the job I signed for is ridiculous, especially given the fact that these video cards have a history of causing this problem. Now I have to go BACK in next week, and hopefully get the proper job done... Such a frustrating experience. read more

Mismanaged and poorly trained or understaffed? Went in to buy IPhone 7 Plus, had my 4 year old with me. The store was packed, it took me a few minutes to find someone willing to help. The phone was in stock, but I couldn't just buy it, had to wait another 20-30 minutes. My daughter sat down at the desk to play with computer - almost immediately someone found time to tell us that these spots are reserved for tech support. Nowhere to sit while I wait to purchase a $1000 phone. After a while someone did sell me the phone in a quick (thank you) transaction. Good, right? Now all I wanted was to put my purchase in a bag and get my daughter some ice-cream. Well, no bags. Apple sells insanely overpriced technologic toys for the promise of exceptional user experience. In my opinion that experience should start from the time you walk into the store or call the service. They obviously failed. Screw that, Apple. read more

Okay, so I know it was a bad idea to go into the Apple Store at Park Meadows mall on a Saturday morning, but it couldn't be helped. I recently conformed and got an IPhone 4s and I needed to get the Apple Care insurance within 14 days of the phone's purchase--why I couldn't do it with the purchase of the phone at Sprint is unknown to me, but it is what it is. So I go into the store and see all of the 'blue shirts' there to help. There were plenty of 'blue shirts' standing around but I had to actually approach a group of three to get service-Strike 1. I told the guy what I needed and he informed me that I needed to see a technician to check out my phoneto make sure it actually worked. I was told it would take about 10 minutes to go through the process and then I could be on my way, fully insured for two years. I was happy with that until I was told I would have to make an appointment to take care of it! That was strike 2 since i could see that there were plenty of people around to perfom the simple task. Well, I made my appointment after I was told there was nothing that could be done for me. When i returned for my appointment over an hour later, I was checked in a little early by a guy then told that someone would be available to help me shortly. I was a little early for my appointment, so I wasn't any more annoyed than when I had come in. Well, when my actual. appointment time arrived, the same guy who checked me in was the one who actually came to help me. Really, guy?!! You couldn't have just checked me in and helped me out and sent me on my way? Of course not, since we're in the Apple store in the already-pretentious Park Meadows mall--Strike 3. Well, he did what he had to do and I was out of there less than 5 minutes after he started the process. This was definitely something that could have been done on the spot the first time I came into the store, but that would make too much sense, right? If you have to go in there to make a simple purchase (which is really all I was there for), be prepared to wait even though there are plenty of 'customer service' folks in the store to accomplish the task. read more

I was doing my update on my iPhone and got stuck because I didn't have iTunes on my computer. So I ran to the Apple store (which was packed - but there were still staff standing around) to get it fixed. All I needed was a computer with iTunes and a cord. They made me get in line to get on the queue (took 10min). Then because I didn't have an appt, I was told to stand there and 'wait'. 10 min went by, I finally grabbed a girl that worked there and asked if I could just get a cord and I would do it myself. She goes to the queue nazi and he says I don't have an appt, so I will get put on the bottom of the list. I stressed to them that I just needed a computer, that I was working and I needed my phone, even cried a little and they gave a crap less. I sat there crying for 10 more minutes and a guy came and helped me. He was helping another person at the same time, so didn't even get his full attention. Then he rebooted my phone without asking, I asked him if he did it, he said - no I didn't. HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! read more

I am a fan of Apple product, but not the service at the Apple store. I went in to fix my phone a couple of weeks ago...and I had an appointment at 5:15 pm. But I waited until almost 6:15 pm when a technician came out to talk to me. There were many employees at the store and they were not busy. I have never had such a bad time at an Apple Store as I did today. First, I came in as a walk-in because I had spent an hour and a half trying to set up a genius bar appointment, but could not do it. I waited 35 minutes, which was fine. I was having trouble with sound on my phone (couldn't hear calls coming in or going out. I was told to leave it with them and come back one and a half hours later. When I showed up, the phone came back to me -- not fixed. So they were giving me a new phone but the person helping me kept leaving me to help others while I was trying to set up my new phone. It was now two hours later. Still standing, waiting for my person to return to me. I tried to get a supervisor--there isn't one. The person I told just shrugged his shoulders at me in a nasty way when I said I would never return to this store. I had asked an Apple person next to me while I was waiting for my guy to return, if there was a chair I could sit on. He said he was busy. So I found one across the room and dragged to where my phone was. I thought I would have a nervous breakdown by the time I left. Very bad customer service. read more

Katie the manager was completely unsympathetic to my problem and was unwilling to offer a definitive solution for my watch which was under warranty. She was pushing the buttons so fast on her handy dandy iPhone that she retuned the watch to the original buyer and I couldn't get a gift card. She couldn't fix it. Horrible. Staff returned my device 40 minutes late, had not completed the requested repairs, and somehow had bricked my device. I went in for a screen repair with a fully functioning phone. They stated that my screen was aftermarket and caused a problem (false, we purchased the phone brand new from an apple store and have never replaced the screen) and that multiple new screens were not working properly (also false: they returned the phone with the cracked screen in the exact form it was when I showed up at the store, I don't believe they could put small pieces of glass in exactly the same location). They changed their story repeatedly, and also never completed a requested battery replacement. When they handed the phone back to me, it wouldn't turn on and they told me it just needed to re-charge. I went home and charged it for hours, and it won't turn on! They completely bricked my device. read more

I went into the apple store completely disappointed in myself bc I shattered the display on my phone. Wanted to see what sort of options I had to fix my iPhone 5c so I made a walk-in appt. It was a busy night, surprisingly, but finally got to talk to an apple person. He told me my phone wasn't able to be restored. After hearing that I was devastated. Was thinking of my alternatives.. Which was downgrading back to my iPhone 4. Then moments later, he told me tht they don't normally do this but I was able to get a refurb phone! I was sincerely grateful and thankful! They provided the best customer service. Not bc I received a free phone but bc they truly do listen to you and try their best to decipher your situation and help u out the best that they can. Thank you so much! And I will be investing in some heavy duty phone protection when I go back! Thank you!!
