I made an appointment a week prior, thinking that a semi-holiday during the week would be less busy. When we arrived, there were more employees than customers. It took a minute to be checked in. Another 5 minutes after the appointment time to have my technician come over. I ran the diagnostics they asked and made a back up prior. Another 5 minutes, they had my iPhone, ready to replace my battery. He said to return around noon. We returned a few minutes passed noon, took longer to check in. This store is huge - big & bright, in fact I thought it was too bright. There are lots & lots of tables with many products displayed as well as on the walls. (I could see this being a fun window shopping experience, if you like that kind of thing.) Lots of employees & customers too, it was very busy. I suggest making an appointment, which I wished we had done. We arrived mid morning on a Saturday to purchase new IPads. One of the employees near the entrance checked us in. He was very friendly & personable. He asked us what we wanted...we picked out the models & colors. From there we stood in line for about 30 minutes. Finally, a sales person came over & brought us to a table. Unfortunately, this was not a table with chairs so we stood for another 30 minutes, until our purchase was done. Those tables with chairs were full. A runner brought out our IPads in boxes to our sales person. Our sales persons was nice & he asked us if we wanted to purchase a Care Plan & IPad covers. (The covers were very expensive & they only had three colors available.) And that was it. We were so disappointed that they don't transfer & setup the new IPads. Just a purchase with no service. Gosh, if we knew that we could have just gone to another store much closer & saved the hour wait time. Horrible customer service on the phone and at the store. Needed a 16" laptop , I guess there isn't any in the state. Phone support said I wouldn't get it for another 27 days even though I fully paid for it. Phone support said they can transfer me on the phone to the store to see if the store has one in stock and possibly can get it to me sooner. The store left me on hold for quite sometime and when they finally get on the phone they say "who ever transferred you doesn't know what they are doing " said I can try to get a 14" in store today and so I ask is there a 14" ? They said "we can't tell you if we have one in stock or any of our inventory on the phone it's against our policy. " This is total crap , what kind of games is this company playing? I get there and had 3 different people see what they could do , in the end I had to cancel the OG order and place an order to pick up a 14" laptop and they said "we can't sell it to you for a few hours." WTF?! I sit there in the parking lot waiting for my return time , I come back at my pick up time and guess what ? They were the ones not ready. My visits to the Southlands Mall Verizon store were not fruitful, as I received little help with transferring my data. The Female Manager there suggested UBreakIFix at Quincy/Buckley Rd. Frustrated, I decided to visit the Apple Store at Park Meadows Mall. To my amazement, they swiftly transferred all my data in just 25 minutes. It was a process that left me feeling impressed and amazed. Problem solved! Lesson learned: if you have an iPhone, go straight to the Apple Store. They can handle everything, and you'll get the same deals you'd find with Verizon. Ask for Dom at the Park Meadows location -- he was not just knowledgeable and efficient, but also made me feel secure and confident in his abilities. He was brilliant to work with. read more

There were four associates there and once they were done helping the customer ahead of me, asked me how they could help. I told them what I needed and they discussed amongst themselves if there was a difference between the models. Apparently there isn't. They got it out from the store room while I browsed. Bought Apple Watch in June 2025 from TMobile. I've been sent back and forth many times. Neither company takes responsibility. First time in Apple Store for issue the rep to my iWatch back and charged it to run a few tests. Came back and said he wanted me to try to update software. This visit was about 15-20 minutes. (Watch would die after 4-6 hours each day. I tried that and same issue. I took it back to T-Mobile as suggested by the Apple Store. They said Apple Store has 1 year warranty. I returned again to Apple Store in Park Meadow mall as I did prior. Rep said he could give me appointment to get checked but realize that the warranty is from when T-Mobile gets shipment not my purchase date. I said "what?" How can that be. I have receipts of purchase in June and it's January 12, 2026. He gave us appointment 2.5 hours later. We received texted saying it was our turn. We returned to wait another 20 min. Finally a rep came over. He said "this does not look like one of our phones". I said scan the box. "He then said oh, ok". He asked what was wrong. We explained and he said "well you have never been here prior or it would show up in our records and it's not showing that you have ever been in the store. I said I was absolutely here and it's not up to me to know how things get documented. When he continued to be obstinate I asked him to get his supervisor. He said why? I explained that I just want to get my iWatch working. He said "well you'll have to come back because I cannot get tied up with this". I again asked for his name, he said "why and walked off". I later found out from the manager Michael the other reps name was Chris. I'm a grandma. I'm not a young kid trying to scam someone. But that's how he treated me. I love my Apple products. They wanted to charge me $178 to repair two AirPod Pro 2s that wouldn't connect to the case anymore. They claimed they were damaged and no longer under warranty. I do have a warranty and there's no visible damage to them. I was originally quoted $89 and then $178 after they asked for a second opinion. I rarely write bad reviews, but the service and attitude of employees here just rubbed me wrong. I made an appointment to get my battery replaced. I waited 30 mins past the time of my appointment until someone came to help. No apology for the waiting time, and very unfriendly and the employee acted put out to even have to help me. He told us that they couldn't "repair my battery" today because there were too many people ahead of me. For one, my appointment was at 3:30 and they close at 9pm. Are you kidding me? For two, why let me make an appointment for a simple battery change if they aren't able to replace it that day. I should have been told this when I made the appointment online prior to driving one hour (we live in the country). The first "diagnostician" said I could talk to the technician in a moment after he did diagnostics on the phone. Why they ran diagnostics when all I needed was a battery change seemed weird, but whatever, maybe store policy. The technician then came to us and confirmed that indeed they could not help us today and that it would have to be an overnight "fix." It's not a "fix", it was only a battery change and they should honor the appointment that I made to get it taken care of today. The technician was at least somewhat friendly and did apologize, but this was the worst service I've had in a long time. There were many employees walking around doing nothing but talking to one another as well. I will never go to this apple store again and will try my best to stay away from all apple stores if this is their idea of good customer service. They were rude, unhelpful, and didn't honor the appointment I made to get a battery replacement. Honestly, it's a joke to even make an appointment because they just didn't care and didn't even pretend to care. He found no issues with the hardware. He also sent me an email with all the diagnostics on it to give to my service provider. I was forced to close down a credit card which I use exclusively for travel and coming up to the Thanksgiving holiday created a lot of problems. Regrettably, my experience with this store was far from satisfactory. Despite multiple visits in an attempt to resolve an issue with my phone losing data connectivity, I found myself caught between Apple blaming T-Mobile and T-Mobile insisting everything was fine. In a last-ditch effort to find a solution, I reached out to Apple directly. After reviewing my case, they acknowledged the defect in my phone and assured me that a replacement would be provided. They updated the necessary notes on my account and informed me that everything would be arranged for a smooth exchange at the store. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a young woman who was already rude and, before even looking at the notes, stated she wouldn't be replacing my phone. She eventually made an effort to look for the notes. After reviewing them, she informed me that the Apple agent was wrong and they would do nothing for me. I sought out the so-called manager, a skinny bald guy, who pretended to understand but also refused to stand by what I was promised. I ended up trading in my defective phone and buying a new one, since I am trapped in the Apple ecosystem. Surprise, it works great! As I suspected, the issue was with the phone, not T-Mobile. I had some unexpected problems with my iPhone and was completely unable to use it. No wifi.... No Bluetooth..... A useless brick. My wife suggested taking it to Apple Store at Park Meadows. We took it in and got help right away. The diagnosis showed problems with a few parts in the phone. Said it would take about 1.5 hours. I Came back in a few hours and it was fixed!!! They also helped me me put the data / apps back on phone from my iCloud. Nobody wants to have issues and problems with their phone. We all count on these phones for daily life issues not just communication. I was so pleased with the EXCELLENT SERVICE from the Apple team at the Genius Bar staff. Recently had an issue with a delivery where they told me I basically had no option but to return the item I requested and wait the standard time period for refund. I just wanted my order. My package was not delivered due to an error with the shipping company but they had no resolve for this. The man who was representing APPLE over the phone was not helpful at all. I am a long-term, devoted Apple fan. I've had Android phones, but pffft. I have had trouble with Apple phones and bad updates, but not with the employees at this store. I don't come here often, because I've been able to resolve most problems on my own, or with the help of Apple support over the phone. But every now and then, I need in-person help. So, I bought a MacBook Pro (used, renewed) on Amazon, because my PC is getting sluggish. It was BEAUTIFUL. And supposed to be a "mid-2019" model. I upgraded the software to Ventura, and tried Migration Assistant a THIRD time. The first two times, while the Mac was still on OS Sierra, it performed partial transfers and then stalled for days. After upgrading to Ventura,it couldn't even find the PC. Arrrgggh. So after arguing with a Windows Support AI bot, who claimed to be human (but was named, oddly, "AI Kenneth"), I called Apple Support. The woman with whom I spoke made at appointment for me at Park Meadows the very next day. I walked in, and was promptly and cheerfully greeted and checked in. West came over to help me, and quickly determined that the computer was NOT, in fact, a mid-2019 model, but a 2017. He told me that it was purchased in 2019, but was definitely built in 2017. And that the reason the Migration Assistant didn't work after installing Ventura was probably because the laptop was too old. He asked me where I got it, and I said, "Amazon." He told me that normally the migration service is only done when you buy directly from Apple, but since I had tried everything, they would do it for me, if I was willing to either leave the computers or hang out while it was processing. They were going to try and do it with an Ethernet cable. But I was quite annoyed that the computer had been misrepresented as a newer model than it actually was, so I said that I was going to return it. West very kindly wiped all the data for me. He did try to talk me into a MacBook Air, because he said that I probably didn't need the Pro, and the Air was lighter. Also cheaper. I had told him that I simply couldn't swan about buying $2000 laptops. However, I like the Pro, and I did my research. I think that he meant well. It IS a more powerful computer than I need, but whatever. I like it. Went and bought a 2020, but I digress. This morning, when I boxed up the MacBook, I discovered to my horror that the wall adapter was missing. Ack!! I apparently left it in the outlet at the Apple Store, although I had the cable. Weirdorama. I even held the laptop bag upside down. Nothing. I went to Apple after Pilates, and explained the situation. The man with whom I spoke verified that I had, in fact, had an appointment yesterday, and went off to try and find my adapter. West was apparently not present. The man told me that he couldn't find it, and it probably got mixed in with the ones they use. He said that they would give me a new one. I said that was unnecessary, because I was returning the laptop, and they could just give me a used one. But he gave me a new one, which i sent back to the third-party seller. So, I see a lot of bad reviews and complaints, but I have had only positive experiences at this Apple Store over the years. And tbh, if a bad update hadn't ruined my phone, I would still be using an IPhone 6. Although it sucks that it got ruined, because I lost a ton of pix of my kids. If I could this store no stars I would. This is the second time this happen. First time this happen was last year for my father's phone, they said they could replace a part for him after waiting for the repair to finish. They end up stating they couldn't replace is due to "water damage" and now the screen no longer works. My father end up purchasing a new phone. I took his phone to different certified Apple repair location (not an Apple store) they were able to fix his phone with out any issues. This weekend I took my phone in to fix the speaker and battery replacement. They said they can fix it after waiting for almost 2 hours, they told me they couldn't fix it due to " water damage" and now my display doesn't work because of it. I took my phone to 2 T-mobile store they couldn't find any indication there is any water damage to my phone. Next day I brought my phone to an certified Apple repair location (not an Apple store), they look at my phone and wasn't able to find any water damage to my phone. The repaired person took pictures and show me my screen/ display was most likely damage when the people at the Apple store open it incorrectly. They replace everything with out any issues. I called the Park Meadow store asking for reimbursement since I have to pay for a new display/ screen, they told me there was nothing they can do. So I had to get a new phone today I choose the 13 Pro. I called in advance and paid for it Tell them my data never migrates seamlessly so please get an appointment time for help together for me. And I paid for it in advance and of course they told me when I arrived that cc processing takes all afternoon of my credit card so I had to buy it again! But of course they didn't know that I had to call tech-support to find that out.Seriously? I arrived I was told that there are no appointments for help even though I had set it up this morning before I even went in. I said I had to do all this I had to do this myself. $1600 and three hoursLater I am still sitting here and none of my data has migrated even though I am following their instructions exactly. The check in people don't know what to do either so I set up another appointment for Tec Support. Apparently they Sold me a iPhone 13 that was not updated to the latest 15 doc too so now I have to update it after I spent hours down loading or trying to restore from iCloud with No data migrated. So of course now I am out of battery almost so their advice was to buy a brick And sit on the sofa is outside. Because I'm not allowed inside. Due to Covid.Which I did. But of course The plugs are locked up out of store and their next piece of advice was to wander around the mall looking for plugs. I'll also be out of Apple Wi-Fi range. Welp Apple and I had been on a downward slope since Christmas. Received a nice brand new iPad Air for Christmas. Was so interested in looking at the new camera quality, wanted to record gifts being opened, well Apple diminished the glee. They have made anything such a rigmarole anymore. Why can't I open up a product and use it with out being inundated with 15 different "set up" items, not a fun experience on Christmas morning. Today I went to buy a new case for said IPad (still not set up). Well once again Apple sucked the fun out of it. This is my first trip to the mall since Covid and it was a special trip for a special reason. Now once you get to the Apple store you need to stand around the mall, get online and purchase the item you want to pick up at the store then you have to set up an appointment to pick up your purchased online item and god forbid if you forget your ID, I'd hate to see how that would turn out. If Apple keeps this level of service up then why even have a store front? Maybe just have a drop off slot for repairs. Lets just bypass Apples hoops of frustration and order from the safety of home and have items delivered to said home. Unfortunately a lot of the employees that Apple is trying to keep extra extra extra safe will be out of a job eventually due to the lack of service and respect for the customer/guest. We waited 45 minutes! We arrived and were greeted by a nice lady, so over all the start was promising. We were told to sit and at Genius Bar and waited for around 30 minutes then we asked about how much longer it might take. We were told we would be helped shortly, 15 more minutes went by, and we were finally helped. Keep in mind we had an appointment and still had to wait 45 minutes. When we were helped we were given an employee who man-splainged a battery change. My mother and I are tech smart enough to know that if your battery life is 79 means time to replace. We were then told that we could not get the battery changed until tomorrow because it was too late. We were help 45 minutes late it could have been done earlier, we were then offered to leave it (not possible) or do it a different day. We live far away and couldn't return. By no means am I say that all employees are bad, we saw many good employees, we saw employees helping people nicely, quickly and patiently. We were not luckily enough for this experience. While the staff are well trained they run in this constant busy mode. The Genius Bar is constantly busy. So this is not the place to just drop in if you need immediate attention. so i'm not usually "that guy", but today i am !! the apple policy on attending a store for their coveted "experience" has totally jumped the shark. being an apple disciple since 1983, i am now wondering what happened to the customer service that got them through the years of having to use a myriad of sub par 3rd party software just to stay relevant. stopped by to trade up 8 different apple products that i have accumulated over the past few years, as i thought they might be worth more to someone else, rather than collecting dust in a drawer. unfortunately, i was read the riot act because i pointed out that there were more workers standing around doing nothing, than there were actually customers in the store (maybe next time i'll wear my new marine blue t-shirt so i can blend in) took this simple video of the encounter but left out the nastiness from what seemed to be the manager on duty ( won't subject her to being called out, but she knows who she is, and so do I) was directed to the website, which doesn't actually offer times available for in store appointments, and was informed, and confirmed, by one of the gatekeeper minions guarding the entrance, that they "don't have any in the foreseeable future"....so what good is heading to a website option when they already know they can't fulfill that part of the equation. judge for yourself, take a look at their policies for actually trying to get help in a retail store, decide whether it is worth the effort. all i wanted was a smiling face, a little hand holding, and some real "vintage" customer service....i guess i need to head to chick-fil-a, as they instill true customer service on all their staff, including their entry level employees....maybe a crash course with the apple staff at the park meadows store might benefit the "seasoned vets" to relate to real world scenarios for those of us that have taken a big bite of the APPLE !! read more

I used the Apple Store app to see up a new iPhone purchase and trade in the old one. After waiting for 1.5 hours to just buy a phone, we did the purchase and I tried to hand in my old phone, he said no, just call in and order a trade in box and ship it after you do the swap from old to new on the phone. When I got home I called and 1-800 Apple couldn't find a link to send me or have a process to get me a box! I realize that Covid-19 has dramatically changed how and what customer service means and how it has impacted so much about what is service and what is to be expected. Sadly, I learned a very sad and personally impactful lesson from Apple Park Meadows. This is not a critique of Apple Corporate. I spent many hours with Apple Support, Apple Advanced Support trying to rectify the situation. There was no way to rectify what a few minutes of questions and backup could have avoided. I support and use Apple products for technology, I still do, and I still will. This is why this situation is unique, an aberration of my expectations. My trusted iPhone 7+ stopped accepting calls. I could answer but I could not be heard; time for an upgrade. As I was already in the area, I went to Park Meadows, not my usual area, I did not have an appointment, but I was quickly accommodated. I spoke with a helpful young guy, he did a quick diagnosis of my phone and sent me to a nearby AT&T Store, reason unclear, I did so. AT&T did not have the phone I wanted in stock, saying I could get one in several days. I returned to Apple. Again, I was directed to an Apple Rep., not the one that I had already talked with and that was familiar with my situation. I needed a working phone that day, at that time. I again explained that I had my laptop with me if I needed to do some special backup, The guy looked at my phone saw that I had an iCloud backup, and said that I was good. What he did not catch, the backup was, about a year old. To sum up the situation, I lost approximately a year of contacts and information. Some of this information can be reconstructed some cannot unless I am contacted by the other person or entity. All of this could have been caught had my young and seemingly rushed sales rep. (I use the term sales rep. purposefully as sales seemed to be the focus, not service orientation of my representative.) I have discussed this situation with upper echelon Apple, they all have been apologetic. Buyer beware, buyer be aware, the bottom line of Apple Stores seems to have taken charge of the customer-focused approach that I remember, The Genius' have left the building it seems. read more

While I detest the business model that makes you wait for days on trouble shooting a phone (the first available appointment was a week out), the people of the store make up for Apple's obnoxious customer-last strategy. The gentlemen that helped me was friendly, patient, and eager to make sure that my phone issue was resolved. In multiple visits to various Apple stores, I've never had a bad interaction with a staff member - they are always awesome. The problem is, it has to be worked around their schedule and not yours. Seriously, who has a phone issue that can wait a week when you're using it for work? 3 stars because, in the end, I got what I needed and the service after the wait is great. Terrible, more employees than customers and get no one is willing to help. If you are lucky enough to finally have someone volunteer for the unfortunate task of helping someone they will just direct you to Apple.com so I suggest just closing this location and put up a sign up that says just go to Apple.com. read more
