I realize that Covid-19 has dramatically changed how and what customer service means and how it has impacted so much about what is service and what is to be expected. Sadly, I learned a very sad and personally impactful lesson from Apple Park Meadows. This is not a critique of Apple Corporate. I spent many hours with Apple Support, Apple Advanced Support trying to rectify the situation. There was no way to rectify what a few minutes of questions and backup could have avoided. I support and use Apple products for technology, I still do, and I still will. This is why this situation is unique, an aberration of my expectations. My trusted iPhone 7+ stopped accepting calls. I could answer but I could not be heard; time for an upgrade. As I was already in the area, I went to Park Meadows, not my usual area, I did not have an appointment, but I was quickly accommodated. I spoke with a helpful young guy, he did a quick diagnosis of my phone and sent me to a nearby AT&T Store, reason unclear, I did so. AT&T did not have the phone I wanted in stock, saying I could get one in several days. I returned to Apple. Again, I was directed to an Apple Rep., not the one that I had already talked with and that was familiar with my situation. I needed a working phone that day, at that time. I again explained that I had my laptop with me if I needed to do some special backup, The guy looked at my phone saw that I had an iCloud backup, and said that I was good. What he did not catch, the backup was, about a year old. To sum up the situation, I lost approximately a year of contacts and information. Some of this information can be reconstructed some cannot unless I am contacted by the other person or entity. All of this could have been caught had my young and seemingly rushed sales rep. (I use the term sales rep. purposefully as sales seemed to be the focus, not service orientation of my representative.) I have discussed this situation with upper echelon Apple, they all have been apologetic. Buyer beware, buyer be aware, the bottom line of Apple Stores seems to have taken charge of the customer-focused approach that I remember, The Genius' have left the building it seems. read more

While I detest the business model that makes you wait for days on trouble shooting a phone (the first available appointment was a week out), the people of the store make up for Apple's obnoxious customer-last strategy. The gentlemen that helped me was friendly, patient, and eager to make sure that my phone issue was resolved. In multiple visits to various Apple stores, I've never had a bad interaction with a staff member - they are always awesome. The problem is, it has to be worked around their schedule and not yours. Seriously, who has a phone issue that can wait a week when you're using it for work? 3 stars because, in the end, I got what I needed and the service after the wait is great. If I could give this place less stars (again) I would. Not sure why this isn't updating my previous review when I spent an hour+ last time I was here to deal with an iPhone upgrade that was never resolved despite working with the manger. This time, I ordered a product for curbside pick up as this was the only option available due to Covid restrictions. When I pulled up I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth process and check in system. That all quickly went south. I am still sitting here and have counted 9 cars to come and go and I have yet to receive my products which I paid obviously a lot of money for. I scheduled a pick up, arrived five minutes early, and have now been waiting beyond my 30 min pick up window. The products came out at one point but apparently were not processed on their end so despite having a receipt and proof of Identification they would not let me leave with the products. They spent 20 minutes using a walkie talkie system that was clearing failing and when I asked if they could go inside was told they could not due to safety restrictions. After another 5 min of failed communication attempts with inside the store the same guy ended up going inside... This store is so poorly managed and has honestly been my least favorite experience as an apple user and I've had more than one broken screen!! read more

Man, I gotta downgrade the Apple store a few days after I raved about it. Here is the thing, apparently if you want any kind of help or decent service you need to go on a weekday. The weekends are so busy that the staff seems overwhelmed and frankly kind of give up. I went back to pick up my MacBook Pro that got some warranty service done on the video. Anyways, they ended up getting the work done several days ahead of schedule (Score!), however picking it up was a joke. I waited FOREVER for someone to acknowledge my presence and the girl that finally did was almost spacey about the whole thing. Slow, non communicative. Weird. She didn't even show me that it now had video. I did it myself. And she kinda drifted off after she gave me my laptop. I finally asked, are we done, can I go? A sleepy, yeah was given and I was off. Nice store, but so-so staff. I have mixed feelings! It is my closest Apple store so I can see going back, but not expecting too much. read more

Terrible, more employees than customers and get no one is willing to help. If you are lucky enough to finally have someone volunteer for the unfortunate task of helping someone they will just direct you to Apple.com so I suggest just closing this location and put up a sign up that says just go to Apple.com. read more

I can understand the negative reviews but if you think about it in the mind of an employee and the manager of the store, you'll see that this store runs on a system and although it isn't a super efficient system, it still works. Instead of having random approaches for support, questions, or assistance, the store basically asks what your goal is for coming to the store at the front and then they'll have you hang around for a couple minutes and an Apple employee will come and help you out knowing what you're there for. This way ensures that almost every person who enters the store has been helped by an Apple employee whether they've actually achieved what they came to the store for or not. That's my way of seeing how the store functions and whether that's the actual plan of the store is not my concern. Now I'm going to actually describe my experience. I needed a battery for my phone but I was told when I got there that they wouldn't be able to do it that day. But, they would be able to hold my phone overnight and have it done by tomorrow morning or noon. I was fine with that as long as I still got the $30 battery replacement plan. The next day I came to the store to pick up my phone after calling to make sure it was ready. I did have to wait in line when I got there and after 15 minutes I was told by the front employee to hang around for a bit and an employee will come to assist me. 10 mins later I was approached by an employee with my phone and the whole payment process took less than 3 mins so I was happy with that. I left happily with a new battery in my phone. My overall experience was good although I do wish assistance was faster and I definitely understand that there are other peoples' needs and assistance that must be dealt with first before my request. It's a great store but they definitely need to work on a better customer assistance system. Overall Score: Atmosphere 5/5 Variety 4/5 (I noticed they only had cases for the most recent iPhone which is fine but it limits to what some people can buy with their older versions of iPhones) Customer support 5/5 (all the employees were friendly especially the front employee) Wait time for support 3.5/5 I'd come back next time if I needed technical support or if I just want to look at some Apple products while at the mall shopping. read more

Amazing service! I was in last week to buy a new phone. Everything went well until I got a call yesterday stating that the transaction did not go through and I should call the store to correct the issue. However, I went into the store instead because I thought it was a little sketchy giving out information over the phone. As I went into the store, I was promptly greeted, told them my situation, and a manager saw me right away. They understood the situation and were able to fix the issues quickly. They even provided me a small for the inconvenience of having to come in again! The people who helped were super friendly and ensured that I was satisfied with everything. Beginning with the good, when you have an appointment even during COVID you get to meet with a Apple specialist within 10-15 mins. Good job there! But the staff at this location are poorly trained. I visited the store during off peak hours not a lot of queue, for a scheduled iPhone service concern. The treatment after initial check in was appalling. Right from asking about the concern to running Radar the staff seemed on edge to itching to asking us to leave. Even after showing evidence of the issue the staff reaction were dismissive. I have to say this was worth I've been treated with apple. The treatment reminded me of how some car dealers were. I'll end with quoting the Apple staff members word to me, I understand your problem but I can do for you. I've got better service at peak times in SF square. If you can call Applecare like I did after being shoved out of this Apple store they helped me much better and are really courteous. TLDR If you help it avoid this Apple store, staff are lethargic and give a sense of I don't care to listen to the issue. Try Apple cherry creek maybe. read more

Just purchased a new laptop. my friend purchased the same laptop at Best Buy with a savings of $300. i called the store and they said they would price match it, but that i just needed to come to the store. The experience I had there earlier this morning can best be described as unprofessional, disturbing and discriminatory. I was so negatively affected by what occurred that I walked out, headed to the car, sat down and called Apple support. I requested a priority important, critical message sent to the proper channels immediately. Upon returning home, I called again to Apple HQ, spoke to them and indeed an open problem ticket was filed. Yesterday, I spoke to Apple Support, set up an appointment for today, told them that I'd like help transferring files and transitioning from Android to Apple. The conversation yesterday was professional, helpful and assisted me in bring all the necessary equipment to do the transfer well. I entered the store, spoke to one of the greeters, took a seat and this young woman said she'd be helping me. We went to the front corner of the store, a little quieter there and I explained that I've been on Android since the beginning, and have had the same cell number twenty nine years, been with Verizon Business for twenty one years. I shared with her what yesterday's Apple rep told me and she said... we can't guarantee the transitional transfer. I told her, this is a new Android with clean files, my MacBook Pro has all clean files and I brought all the cables that I was instructed to do. She said ... I'll be right back. I got everything open on the table, ready to proceed, waited seven minutes, a guy came up and said, I'll be working with you now. I said, what happened to the young woman. He said.... She said you called her... Sweetheart! What? I never said such a thing. He said, it's her word AGAINST yours. She lied, big time! I would never, have never spoken to anyone in sales, customer service or anywhere like this. I said, I'm going to escalate this and I have. This is a case of Senior Discrimination! I was a gentleman to her. Perhaps she didn't want to to the transfer. This was a shocking experience and I called and spoke to Apple Support all the way on the drive home and with her supervisor once I got home. I have never been so humiliated, embarrassed and discriminated against in my whole life. I doubt that Apple will follow through with a call to me. I will never return to this store again. The irony is that the Cherry Creek store is only a couple of miles from my house. This Park Meadows is about twenty miles away and I went there due to I also shopped at the close by Costco right before the appointment and the parking is easier and free. Lesson learned... do not shop at Park Meadows Apple Store and report this to the so called higher ups and contact a lawyer after something like this occurs. read more

So I was going to give this store 1-2 stars, but in the middle of our transaction an amazing sales rep (Dave Gaslin) helped us through the rest of the time and he brought the whole average back up to a 4. We were trying to get a new phone and get data from an old phone. After meeting us for 2 min, the rep says "I don't know if we can help you, you might just cut your losses" before even TRYING - because the phone a software malfunction. Yes I know this isn't ideal but you're the Apple store, isn't your entire proposition to help me in crappy circumstances?! If you can't help me, who am I supposed to go to!? This is the issue with this Apple store - if there's a complicated, slightly more annoying than normal problem, the reps don't have the patience /don't care enough to help you. However, Dave Gaslin was sent to help us after we refused to roll over and give up, and he was seriously one of the best Apple employees ever. He tried his best to help instead of giving up before trying and suggested different ways of working with the issue. He is very very technically savvy and has tricks up his sleeve to make things go a lot faster (he deleted one app and cut our data transfer time by half). He's also just a lovely person who truly cares about his customers. After 4 hours, we left happily with 2 years of photos in a brand new iPhone. If it weren't for Dave, we would've lost 2 years worth of memories (and lots of photos of a very cute dog). I think if you go to this store, expect the reps not to have patience, and don't give up even if they tell you to. Demand alternative solutions. Ask for Dave if he is working and if not, just know it is their job to help you. Don't leave without getting the help you deserve for paying $1k for a phone!! read more

This is a review of the Apple Care service team. Flat out- awful customer service. Technicians are overbooked, and severely understaffed. I have come by for multiple issues and each time, I leave more frustrated and grumbling than the last. One of my biggest peeves is that you have to book online for a Genius Bar appointment well in advanced- but not too far, because the schedule only goes on a week ahead. Once squeeze into a time slot, you arrive, check-in, and wait. And wait. Annnnnddd wait. Grrrrr! Talk about frustrating! Apple- please please PLEASE get more staff to serve your Genius Bar so customers aren't waiting an hour after their pre-scheduled appointments. This is just unacceptable! read more

Poor customer service - we came in to return an item and were told to wait in the back of the shop where someone would be by "soon". We stood around for 25 minutes and no one came by. We were actively trying to make eye contact with no one returning it. Since Apple is usually good at queueing folks or stopping by if you are looking around we figured they were busy. After we saw a few employees cleaning screens and organizing we went over to ask and were helped on the spot. We ended up leaving pretty frustrated as it was pretty tame customer wise and we waited quite a while before having to take the initiative again to get help. Taking 30 minutes to return one item with receipt in hand was disappointing. Overall not the worst experience but we couldn't help like feeling the employees didn't really care. read more

The only reason I was even here was to look at an iPad that is required to run an app for aviation that isn't offered on Android. This store is jammed beyond capacity with people, most of whom seemed defeated and under some voodoo spell. I imagine this is what Stockholm Syndrome looks like en masse. It smelled like a locker room after a summer sporting event, and if there was a readiness condition to rate its state of disorganization, it would be at DEFCON 1. There are very few clues about who is employed there versus who is a patron. I made eye contact with about ten people I assumed were employees (hint - I think they wear shirts with a tiny Apple logo on them, but pants/shorts/whatever are unsystematic), smiled, and started to try and ask a few quick questions, only to be ignored consistently. I spent almost the entire month of April trying to get my MacBook Pro laptop repaired. I took it to the official Apple repair shop at Park Meadows mall. The problem was a battery gone bad. They fixed the battery, but subsequently both my trackpad and keypad were not fully functional, working less than 5% of the time and crippling the laptop. I took it back to Park Meadows for a second go round but they assured me again that everything was just fine. Only problem was the laptop was still completely useless with Trackpad and keypad failure. After two tries at the same shop, I thought I needed a second opinion. I took the disabled laptop to another Apple authorized repair shop (Digitiqe). I was told that there was a small piece of debris hidden inside the laptop that was keeping the trackpad and keypad from working. The debris was removed and voila!! --everything is fixed. I used to think that you couldn't do much better than the official Apple repair shop, but I am disappointed with the Park Meadows Apple repair shop, which failed to run full diagnostic test that would have revealed there was a problem. Park Meadows apparently thought I was the problem. Disappointing! read more

Failure to apply [with your white customers] your policy of 'no bags' on the table policy. As soon as I entered this store, a male employee immediately walked up to me and asked, 'could you please remove your bag off the table'. I said sure. As I looked around, this same employee was with a female customer who's purse and other items were on the table - directly in front of him - the very same employee that quickly asked me to remove my bag off the table. This Apple Store was full of employees helping guest so, why were children and adults allowed to put their beverages and bags on the table? So, I asked the employee who asked me to remove my bag and he said 'its policy'. I proceeded to explain to him my observation - that other employees were not enforcing the policy with guest they were helping. The standard 'apology' was given and he tried to reassure me this wasn't a black thing when he away from me and stated, 'thanks for not making this personal.' I doubt very seriously you'd say that to the white women that had quite a bit of bags, beverages and other items on the table..., because you'd loose the sale. As with all businesses, your product brings in the customer but how you treat your customers - regardless of race, gender or age - is the real thing that matters. That experience is why I'll never buy another Apple product. read more

It's always a delight to visit this location. Too many staff members willing and ready to answer any questions. No task seems too much for them. They keep it simple and fun. My kids enjoy technology so I'm drawn there almost every week. I know a technician there. His name is Jay. He works tirelessly helping everyone wether they buy or not. Not long ago I took my iPhone for a battery check up. Not only the inspected the phone but they went above and beyond to do recommendations for my sett father to better improve the battery life Managers are always around making sure all is working in the proper way. Terrible Terrible Terrible!!!!!!!!!!! I walked into this store yesterday with my family and no one greets us. That was the first step to me walking out. But my son last his phone and we needed to get him a new one so we start browsing the phones. Still no one comes up to us. We see others walk in and what do you think they have employees walk up to them right away. So about 15 mins have passed and now I'm over the place ready to walk out. At this time an employee walks over and I knew from his first sentence that this was going to be a debacle. He starts off talking to me as if I'm uneducated about Apple products, and he can see that I'm holding in my hand and iPhone my wife has an iPhone and the reason that we are there is because my son lost his iPhone. He makes a smart ass comment about Apple care as if we don't know what it is or how it works. So now at this point my only concern is getting my son a phone for his safety. as I'm about to make the purchase, he says to me that you know that our new iPhones do not come with the new C charging blocks. I said yes I know that I was in the store about three weeks ago getting me some accessories for my iPad Pro. I told him that if you guys didn't give charges with the iPhone that I would purchase it somewhere else. His response to me was I don't care it doesn't matter to me. This is the type of customer service that they have at their store. I won't ever go back into the store again, I am really really contemplating on using Apple products all together. read more

All of my visits were appointment based. Even with an appoint you'll of course have a bit of a wait time time to consider as employees help other customers. I brought my out of warranty 2013 MacBook Air in for a battery and trackpad checkup, discovered the battery was very depleted, had them order a replacement. The employee also discovered that some screws were loose, preventing my trackpad from working properly, she easily fixed that. I brought in my laptop a few days later when the replacement arrived with an estimated turnover of about 3-5 days for service completion. I got an email that same night stating that the service had been completed. Overall it was a quick and easy fix on both ends for the batter and trackpad. The batter replacement with service cost $130 (about $138 w/taxes) with payment due after service was completed. read more

Too busy but had associates standing around everywhere doing nothing. I called the staff out on it and he become super rude and condescending. This location has changed immensely since the last time I went in. Today, I went in to either fix my existing watch (water damage, cracks, and no warranty...go me!) or get the new Series 4. I had such a terrible experience last time I went in I was dreading going to the store. Last time it was pure chaos, people everywhere, with little staff assistance. When I was helped, it took 3 different people to work with me, only to have no resolution by the end. This time, however, was a game changer... I approached the first rep, and she told me she is responsible for accessories, but would be more than happy to get me to the right person. I was then immediately sent over to another rep, who was super helpful, informative, attentive, kind, and friendly. She answered all my questions, looking into replacement options, went over warranty plans, and potential upgrades. Though, she was not able to replace my old beat up watch (total my fault not getting the right coverage), she was able to quickly help me get a new watch and recycle the old. I mentioned how organized the staffing and stations felt this time and she said they have been making improvements to provide a better customer experience. She gave examples, of how they changed waiting areas to make people feel more included, assigned associates to certain stations (i.e. Apple Watches, iPads, iPhones all have their own reps assigned) and focused on walk-ins as much as appointments. I told her I could tell there was more structure and organization as there were just as much customers today as my last visit. I set up a service appointment on my IPhone 8+ & needed to pick up new phone as well. Being one of the few Mac IT guys, I had a troubled MacBook Pro that I thought was bad memory. I ran Apple Hardware Test as well as clearing PRAM and repairing permissions. None of which worked. I showed up one minute before my appointment and they checked me in. This tall Genius named Aaron helped me out. Super straight forward guy and we joked around a little about technology. Then he opened up the console and I hit my forehead and thought "Dangit! I didn't check that!" We figured out what the problem was within 5 minutes or so and I left a happy customer. You would think Apple stores are consistent throughout the company. They are not by a far stretch. Yes, you can get a happy technically savvy guy explain things to you but there are also the veterans who think they're holier than thou. Good thing I got Aaron. With that said, I had a great experience. Since Park Meadows is closer to my home, I plan on coming here for my Genius Bar appointments. I would recommend afternoon appointments since earlier/weekend appointments are crazy. read more
