After getting a new iphone and later realizing that my phone number hadn't transferred, I spent hours on talking with Verizon support staff by phone. They never resolved the issue properly. When I was visiting the Park Meadows mall area and near this store location, the store was recommended to me by a friend. I made an appointment and my issue was resolved by a staff member in about 2 minutes. I was very happy that it was so simply and easily fixed. This may be more of a reflection of the utter incompetence of the Verizon remote phone support. read more

If you need good customer, keep walking because it can't be delivered here. The product up sell was painfully obvious and overly self serving. We merely want to switch one apple AT&T device to my apple Verizon plan ... it has been a cluster. Problems were blamed on AT&T which is possible but the apple watch fiasco was not. Sold wrong size then said the correct size watch could be delivered in 1-2 days. It's been 4 days. Nothing. Not even an update call. Further, I called the store for an update and waited on hold for 23 minutes. It's ironic that a phone store couldn't answer the phone inside 60 seconds. My customer service expectations are high but at any level - this has been an epic fail. I should have walked out and into the apple store for wildly superior service and cleanliness. This store is a disservice to any Verizon customer or prospect. Expect several hours per visit while they get their "systems" to work. This includes understanding how to access accounts, comprehend offers and promotions, even taking a form of payment. The staff and kind but clueless. Unapologetic about the systems and delays. All this was understandable in today's service culture. What made this negative review truly necessary was the deceptive and unclear statements made by the staff which resulted in hundreds of dollars in fees and work on our part to undo their mess. We were told all these items were free and necessary to get what we really wanted. Just a watch. Hours and hundreds of dollars later we ended up with products we don't need or want. No mention of fees, penalties or terms. Those show up in a vague fine-print text you get to read. Who reads those. Go here IF you bring your lawyer and have a Verizon expert on the line. We had to go to a "non-corporate" store to undo this mess and they exposed this stores disservice and deceptive practices. I needed to upgrade one of my iPhones, but had some questions, so I went to the Verizon/Victra location on the second floor of Park Meadows. Drew K. helped answer questions, provided phone and service options, and it was not a hard-sell experience. So, I upgraded both the phone and service. Since the phone had to be ordered, I received a call from Drew a week or two later. I went back on Halloween, only because there was an additional discount expiring that day on accessories, and Drew helped port all the information from my old phone to the new one. As I was waiting, he told me about his Halloween costume that he made on his own: a General Kenobi costume from The Clone Wars. I'm a big Star Wars geek, so I totally appreciated the conversation. Drew couldn't complete the trade-in deal in the store, but gave me specific instructions on how to do it so that I would receive full credit for the upgrade. I appreciate Drew's professionalism and attitude. It made the process go a lot more smoothly. Ask for Drew K if you want great service! read more

The worst customer service at all. Unfortunately, the store wasn't like that. I've been their customer for five years, but tonight I got humiliated by one of the employees name Gio he insulted me twice, and when I proved him wrong He didn't bother himself to apologize and then insulted me again. Besides, he was unprofessional regardless of 45 minutes waiting to get helped , I took off to cool down and return back and asked him just give me the store manager phone number and he kept arguing and called me rude! and he was like I'll give you the phone number and get out of here!! besides his mom and dad jumped on me and i looked at myself dealing with whole family! Just HORRIBLE. Avoid at all costs! Promised rebates on new phones and then when rebate denied (because they misinformed us) they refused to stand behind promises. The manager Wes, after hearing his salesperson admit to the mistake, asked if we had anything in writing?! He then was more worried about disciplining his employee than he was worried about helping the customer. He multi-tasked 5 customers while trouble shooting my issue -- which several other reps couldn't solve in the course of the day. Triston should train every rep who comes into the company. read more

The stars are only for Marie, I would give her 5. However other employees were condescending and careless causing me to have to visit 4 times just to get the Apple Watch color I wanted because of their mistakes and misleadings. I experienced employees BS-ing their way through the process while observing them gaslight other customers as well. I finally was helped by Marie the last time and she wasn't sketchy like the others but very kind and thorough. If you visit this store , you will have to be over-vigilant to make up for the employee's attitudes and carelessness. read more

Do not buy anything here! go directly to Verizon. They flat out lie about what they are charging you. they tack on an extra $20 activation fee for a gizmo watch in addition to the $35 Verizon activation. Told me the $27 was taxes. Erin, a sloppy, unprofessional male clerk (now at Glendale store) straight up lied to make a sale. Convinced us to switch from T-Mobile and buy new phones to take advantage of a "Verizon promotion". He claimed we'd receive $2500 in gift cards from Verizon over the next 12 months which could be applied towards our bill. After 2 months and no gift cards arrived, we went back to the store to inquire, they now claim that was never a promotion and will not honor what their crooked employee, Erin told us. Verizon corporate will not honor either saying, 3rd party stores like this do whatever they want and they are not responsible. Owner should be ashamed and embarrassed. Lies. Its all lies. Everything we were told was a lie. The short list includes monthly charge, free first month insurance, upgrade fee can be waived, they didn't inform us they are third party, there was a rebate they weren't going to give us. Terrible! Went in to purchase an iPhone 8, cash. The male helping me did everything he could to try and get me on the 24 month payment plan, with a bundle of things I didn't want for an additional $175. I've been with Verizon for 15 years and there all about money at this point. Worst retail service I have ever received. I went into Verizon two weeks ago to change over from sprint. This is where I met Andrew, he was great understood my situation and offer me great choices. He really cared about me as a customer, and treated me like an informed customer. However, I had just paid off my phone that day and we couldn't activate my phone at that point, so he told me to come back once the phone had been unlocked. He told me that he would wave to setup fee for my troubles. I was really thinking, "Verizon must be a great company." Fast forward to today and I come in looking for Andrew, only to learn that he had been promoted (Good for him he definitely deserved it). Instead I was helped by a sales associate who was training a new employee (I had nothing wrong with this new employee, he was just following instructions). First I told him about the deal Andrew made for me and didn't know if it was possible. Then when he was signing me up he only gave me the $80 and $90 single device plans. Insisting that I needed over 20 GB of data per month. Never once asked about my needs, or the fact that I'm a software engineer and know more about packet transmission and data sizes of media files than the average person. Only after I called him out about knowing cheaper plans existed, he said and I quote, "oh what about our single device plans." Treating me like I wasn't an informed customer. Then they called their lovely boss about waiving the fee (which I could hear the whole conversation) and their boss said it was impossible to waive that fee (not the activation fee). At that point I felt disrespected enough I just wanted to leave, so I did. Then come to realize they activated the plan without notifying me and forced my sprint plan to stop. I NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING THAT DAY WITH THEM, NEVER GAVE THEM MY CONSENT TO DO THAT, NEVER TOLD GOT A RECEIPT, AND TOLD THEM I WAS GOING TO THINK ABOUT IT, AND COME BACK WITH AN ANSWER. read more
