Stranded I called batteries plus, no answer, left messages, indicating I'M STRANDED!! AutoZone charged the battery to find its defective, so wouldn't make it to Batteries Plus. No call back from batteries plus, I purchased a battery thinking, the one I got from batteries plus is still under #Warranty. Refundable!!! Batteries Pluses' position They wanted me to be stranded until they got back to me, which they didn't I called them the next day. & I'm a senior and don't drive daily, caused the defect! I bought a battery for my truck from this location just over a year ago (the battery had a FULL Warranty Until 11/4/2027 clearly printed on the receipt - total price of the battery was $381.51). I was having trouble starting my truck for a couple of weeks. I had to jump start it several times, so I took it down to this Batteries Plus location so they could test it. The store employee said it tested fine and recommend I take the truck to the dealer. I took my truck to the dealer and was told there would be a diagnostic fee of $200. I need a reliable vehicle, so I consented to the charge. I got a call a few hours later that the battery voltage drops to 9.6v while cranking and it had a bad cell. The dealer recommended a new battery. Obviously since the testing equipment at Batteries Plus didn't work the first time I took it for a test, I didn't have much faith I would get very far taking it back so I told the dealer to put a new battery in, but asked for the old battery so I could take it back to Batteries Plus and see what they would do for me. I just stopped at the Batteries Plus store where I purchased the battery and explained the situation. I was told the only thing they could do would be to warranty out the battery and give me a new one, however I didn't need a new battery because I just had the dealer put one in. I asked if I could at least get a store credit, I wasn't looking for a full refund, I was just hoping to recoup a little of the cost I had just incurred, due to Batteries Plus's faulty testing equipment. The employee told me there was nothing she could do, to which I replied, "well I guess I won't ever be buying anymore batteries here". Her response was "Ok, that's fine thank you". The store on Wadsworth had tremendously poor customer service today. The rating I looked up were at a 3.0. I would give them a zero, as I received zero service there. I was sent from another store across town for service, then upon arrival, told they could not do it due to staff issues. Employee in charge of store was being called away, on ann emergency to ann understaffed store nearby after I came in. I was also told they don't give this particular service after 4:00, however I was not told that by their other store that sent me over. Employees were very curt, appeared to not care about customer needs or the situation they had left me with. Upper manager said he was 'sorry'. Nothing else. Appears this corporation is not doing well, I can see why as they are not providing quality customer service, nor caring much. Won't be back... many other places to choose from. Terrible experience! Long story but they strung me along on how long it would take to replace my cracked Ipad screen! It was supposed to be a day or two but after 10 days of being strung along (different answer every time I called as to why), I decided to pick it up and take it somewhere else to be repaired as they said it would still be another couple of days. On many items they will install the battery for you without additional charge, such as a car key fob. DO NOT USE THEM TO FIX PHONE SCREEN. This store takes online appointments and then is too cheap to staff the store to have someone fix your phone at the time requested. You get your phone by the poor salesperson who has to serve everyone who comes into the store first. They can't even get things done by the time they set, and then with Covid, I ended up standing around in the store for 40 minutes in the store while the tech kept stringing me along saying, "Just a few more minutes." Then, if you have the audacity to complain, they tell its your fault for being impatient, -- didn't you see how many other customers they had to serve? Lots of Bulb and Battery needs! My key fob is the reason I frequent this place. I am always needing a new battery for it. Ive had issues with an extended battery I purchased their last July. A problem emerged in November and it was replaced not a problem. When the same issue emerged in March, I showed back up to get a new battery. The man at the counter talked a while the probable source of the problem regarding appropriate charging a phone. He told me he couldn't run a diagnostic on the phone because it took 45 minutes. I was annoyed because it took me a while to take the lightrail from work to arrive AND it wasn't tested the first time an issue emerged. I needed the battery issue resolved because I was going out of town on business with limited charging accessibility. I came back two weeks later the same guy was there and I explained to him the issue. I was surprised when he told me it would take 15 to 20 minutes(!!!) to test the battery. Did they update a diagnostic testing machine? I was too upset to ask. It took less than 10 minutes for them to tell me the battery was "as good as a condition as I bought it." I know that's not true, but left not wanting to deal with arguing. And they didn't even have a recommendation for store to fix smart phones! I won't be back especially the negative condescending attitude of the guy with the short hair at the counter I spoke with twice. Side note: I was told to go to Sprint and my mobile carrier blamed the issue on how a third party battery can disrupt the signal for my phone. They also agreed that Advanced Task Killer drains the battery for Droid phones despite what I was told at Battery's Plus. People, avoid Battery's Plus since they wasted my time and couldn't get the facts straight. read more

This is the second batteries and bulbs I've gone to in order to get a key cut the one on Abilene we ordered on April 15 and still waiting on an order after they missed cut one key and ordered the wrong key for the other so two weeks ago we came to this store I call Lynn and a gentleman by the name of Alan tells me that it's on back order which I do not believe I asked for his manager and he hung up so I am going to take off from work this afternoon and I'm going to drive down and meet with Alan personally and if I don't get resolution that way I will be calling corporate officeI will also be noting this on Facebook yelp Twitter and every other social media I can find To add to the review from yesterday we went in to get the key that the district manager said arrived and was not going to charge us for spent three hours down there because their machine wouldn't cut the key so they have to go to Ace Hardware so paid $165 for the first misscut key, now another $150 for a key that was already paid for Now I'm going to be contacting the Better Business Bureau in the state of Colorado to see who oversees batteries and bulbs and their inability to cut keys read more

I think they have done an overhaul of the customer service at this shop since other people reviewed it. The manager has been there every time I have stopped in, which has been frequently lately. I was getting the batteries replaced in my dog's remote trainer collar and controller. They dismantled the devices and replaced the batteries without me even asking. One was a special order. Each time I have been in there, they have assisted other customers in just identifying the kind of battery a device would take, showing people how to open up the battery cases, and not even expecting a sale (there was a little old lady in there today who just needed to know what kind of A batteries her something or other needed). While I was getting helped at the front desk, another customer came in, went to the back, and the manager called the other staff member from the back and made sure he was taken care of. read more

I'll start off by saying I've been here a number of times. The prices may not exactly be competitive but they have pretty much every battery I've ever needed. I run in today for a watch battery. I don't know they type of battery it takes and cannot open the back myself as I do not own such a teeny-tiny screw driver. I pop in, ask for assistance, and found out that to just get them to open the back of the watch it will be $9- This does not include the cost of the battery, it's JUST TO OPEN THE BACK OF THE WATCH! Most people would never know that all the hardware was not reinstalled in their iPhone unless you actually open up the iPhone. I decided to replace the battery on an old 5s. A battery online was very inexpensive and Batteriesplus replacement battery lasted just over a year. I found that they omitted to reinstall the clip over the home button ribbon cable connection and one of four screws that held the ribbon cables cover in place was missing. . This store offers consistent, knowledgable and courteous customer service. Recently, I had 2 Optima car batteries go bad way before their time. Needless to say, this cost me money and time. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by MAX who was understanding, patient and timely in his follow through. He did everything he said he would in order to process a pro-rated return on the defective product and he called me to remind me to come in and get my refund....twice I believe. :) Batteries Plus is really fortunate to have MAX and the other excellent store associates at Co. Blvd. I hope they treat them well. PS don't buy Optimat Batteries. They are not as good as they used to be as now they are manufacture in MX. Batteries Plus: I bought an X2 Power battery for my car from Batteries Plus In Littleton, CO and was offered a $30 mail in rebate. They requested proof of purchase so I included a photocopy of the receipt. They wrote and said they won't honor the rebate unless I send in the original receipt. The store said for me to keep that original receipt for warranty purposes. Considering the receipt was from one of their stores, I can't believe they had no way of verifying it. I have bought all my batteries from them for over 25 years. never again. read more
