DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE SCREEN FIXED HERE!!!!! All the colors are slightly different and my phone cracked a week later without me dropping it! I just now sat it down in the counter and it cracked more! Literally such low quality screens. I was quoted 30 min for them to fix my sceen, maybe 45 minutes. I watched a taller curly headed boy leave shortly after and not working on my order. I came back in 45 minutes, told it was going to be another hour. The screen was $120 and it didn't even last me two weeks. I may have set it down harder than I should but I haven't dropped it and I'm currently typing to you on a cracked screen. Please please please don't waste your money here. HORRIBLE Customer Service for getting a battery replaced in a tablet! This Used to be a very good store, with knowledgable staff. It was sold some months back and now the owner can not keep employees from leaving there. I think that says something. I have Never seen a store more disorganized about record keeping. I recently ordered a battery for my tablet and the employee called and said to "drop by" to have the new battery installed. When I get there, Connor asked if I had a "repair appointment" and I told him that his employee just told me to "drop by". Connor said he had no idea how to install a battery in a Samsung Tablet, but that he "would give it a shot". I walked out without getting any kind of documentation or repair order number, which I thought was unusual. I expected the store to call me within 5 days. Well...No word by day 10, so I called the store and "Caleb" said they sent the tablet out to "some local guy" to see what he could do. Oh Really??!....Hey, Thanks for calling and giving me a heads up! Aren't they supposed to ship it to a certified corporate repair center, anyway? Is it Really That Difficult to call and let me know the status of my case? What if I want to take it to another repair place? Still, no word from "Connor" and the store. Typical BS. They couldn't care less. To make a very long story short, I have filed a complaint with the Corporate Office and they said they would pressure the owner to resolve this Immediately and fix this lame, dysfunctional store. At least they apologized about the store and said that they have recently received other complaints about this place since the "new owner" took over. Not good. Anyway, I have also posted many more 1-star reviews online for this particular store at 2600 S. Colorado Blvd. (store # 083). The BBB has been contacted and is presently looking closely into this store's business practices. read more

Needed a battery for an old Casio watch and they had it. Positive. Put the battery in the watch for me without letting me know they were going to charge me to do it. Negative. I was never asked if I wanted them to do it for me. I've gone there before and felt they had a nice niche product. The store was well socially distanced and staff had face coverings on. That was the best thing about this store. I went to get my phone screen replaced and it was a nightmare. They said they could replace it within 2 hours (standard) and I went back and the person responsible for doing it had left. They said come back the next morning. When I returned the next morning, someone had done it, but they did it wrong and the screen was still messed up. They fixed the screen again, but it was a tedious and stressful process. I ended up being phone less about a day and a half, and once it was fixed, it was way overpriced and expensive for not even a good quality job. Don't go here for phone help. read more

Lucy answered all of my questions, made sure I was receiving all discounts I qualified for, and made the process very easy. I had no idea what I was looking for. I recently had my car battery replaced and experienced many difficulties with the car starting after it being changed out. I thought it was just not tightened down enough but it turns out the battery was installed incorrectly, leading to poor connections, but that was only diagnosed after a pricey investigation by the car dealership due to continued starting issues. Possibly it would have been fixed by Batteries Plus themselves, had I realized that they installed it incorrectly, but they weren't interested in any restitution for the costs caused by the incorrect installation in the first place. read more

I had an unfortunate mishap with my cell phone Thanksgiving morning. I looked around and liked that Batteries Plus offered a warranty. I was able to make an appointment online. They offer a $10 discount if you do this. I arrived a bit early but the young man took my phone and got started right away. He was very quick and efficient. He also put on a new screen protector for me, and offered a $5 discount on the purchase of the it. I was very impressed with all three young men who were working today. Love this place. Walk in, say "I need..." and name the kind of battery you want. This is the first place I go when I need something outside of "regular" batteries. After about 20 trips, they have had what I needed 100% of the time. They will also change your watch batteries for you, if you want. Prices are higher than big box stores, but that should be expected. read more

I had to come here today because I was having car issues and they were able to test my battery and determine if my battery was holding a charge or if my alternator was toast. Thankfully it was just my battery. I bought one and then asked if they would install too. They said yes but for a nominal fee starting at 13 dollars. I figured I could do this myself since that was a bit pricey when I know other stores will do it free of charge. If you need a battery for your car, go to autozone or somewhere else. You will get better service. I do have to say though that the staff was friendly and willing to help with some things, just not the installation without a fee. read more

He said, after it was installed, that if I had opened the fob myself when I brought it in - he would have just charged me the cost of the battery. Watch out for this company. Especially if you are just running in for a watch battery. They take your watch, get battery and install without saying a word about whether you would like them to install or you will just take battery. Well, I knew nothing until I was told my charge was $9.00 plus. I said $9.00 for a watch battery? He then pointed to a piece of paper down at the end of the counter taped down to the counter that said there would be a charge if they installed. I know $6.00 isn't that much money...just goes back to being honest and offering the option. I guess they know most of us know how to install our own battery, so they make us think they are doing us a favor until they ring it up. What a bad way to run a business and even more so, training your employees to be deceptive. read more

This is the store to go to if you need an unusual battery or bulb right away. However, the prices are nearly double what you will pay if you can wait for an online store to ship something to you. Furthermore, while I see lots of reviews that say the staff are knowledgeable and helpful, I have found them less so. I have called and been told that I would have to call later because the computer was being used for some stock checking procedure and wasn't available to search. I went there recently for a new battery for my car key fob. They had the battery, but the worker behind the desk took the fob to a back room, replaced the battery then held my fob up for ransom: he charged an $8 "installation fee" (the installation took less than two minutes) on top of the price of the battery. I was never informed in advance of this service charge and the worker was unapologetic about his lack of information. I recommend looking elsewhere if you have the time to shop. If you don't, demand a full revelation of the charges that will incur if you do business with them. Buyer beware... read more

Do not go here. I stupidly listened to my boyfriend when I needed to get my cracked screen fixed, and decided to go here over Denver Mac Repair on 8th and Sante Fe...biggest mistake. I called the day before to confirm the cost and time it would take to fix my 5S screen, and I was quoted $80 and an hour. I arrived to the store the day of, and had to wait over 20 minutes to be assisted because Lucy couldn't be found. Then I waited 2 hours for the screen to be repaired, and had to wait another 15 minutes for someone to help me when I arrived in the store to pick up my phone. The best part of this all is I was charged $150. So not only did I have to wait and deal with poor service, but I paid $60 more than I was quoted the day before. These people need to get it together, and I will never go here again or recommend anyone I know to. read more

I walked in for a cell phone battery and the guy at the counter acted like I was bothering him, after I asked for cell phone battery he looked up my battery and said that will be 40 bucks. I was shocked. these batteries are six dollars on-line, I thought maybe I would pay ten for the convenience. He said all of there cell phone batteries are 40 dollars. I went in 1/3/15 to order a lightbulb that I couldn't find anywhere else. Had to place a special order, which was supposed to arrive by 1/14/15, and they were going to call me when it came it. Well, 1/14/15 came and went, and I kept meaning to call and kept forgetting. I finally called 1/21/15. The woman I spoke with said I "was on her list of people to call" because that bulb had been backordered. She said it should arrive in a couple more days. More life happens, and now it's 2/3 -- one month to the day after I ordered -- and I remember to call again. (I never received a single phone call from them.) The man I spoke to, Dan, now says it was an issue with ordering because the bulbs came in cases of 12, so they couldn't order just one, which is not what the lady told me two weeks ago. I canceled my order and asked for a refund, which I (supposedly) got; he said he was going to email me a receipt, which also hasn't shown up yet (an hour later). Guess I'll have to wait and see if my refund posts. Total waste of time. read more

The techs are trustworthy and pleasant to work with ( big shout out to James and Chris today for their help) On my last visit a year ago, the tech even let me know that my car didn't need a new battery- just a little time to recharge after I left a dome light on and had to have it jumped. He answered our questions regarding what was wrong with the current battery. They advertise that they can change out your I phone glass. Well they are not authorized by Apple to this. We found this out when we couldn't update the phone and we took it in to Apple. It produced an error message that stopped the entire phone. We ended up having to buy another phone. That was our sons phone who died a year ago. We wanted that phone but Apple took it. I asked Batteries Plus to pay for the phone and they said they would and I sent them the info. They never even replied with a check. DON'T ever change your I phones glass out here, they won't stand behind their work that wasn't authorized. read more
