This nail salon is my favorite. I got dip powder ombre nails which I didn't even know was a thing and they're beautiful! Lily did my nails and Neo did my toes. Ever one was super friendly and they give great massage with the pedicure and manicure. I feel like royalty here. I have had my gel nails here several times. Due to the location, I wanted this to work. I had to stop going there. Whatever they were doing was destroying my nails. They were made weak and they broke very easily. Twice, I had Ken do my nails and he was so distracted by everything else around him that he paid no attention to me at all. There were hairs and bubbles under my nails and I had to go back to get them redone (and he was obviously not happy). He was rude and difficult even though I had my receipt to show I had them done the day before and they obviously looked awful. I will never go there again and I would discourage anyone. read more

Whoever gave this place one star must be crazy. I am mad I haven't tried this place sooner. My usual spot was closed today (Sundays), and I needed my nails done before vacation. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how spacious and CLEAN this place was. You can tell they take pride and clean their floors and counters daily. The prices were extremely fair, and they had a nice color selection, but I brought my own. My nail technician was Feng, and she was truly amazing. I work in healthcare and do not get to go often enough to maintain my nails, so I was a mess. She took her time and really made sure I was okay through the whole process. I usually go to a different salon, but started coming here because I liked that they took appointments, my old salon doesn't. After today I'll be going back to my old nail salon. First off- when I made the appointment I asked for Honey to be my technician, and when I walked in today I was given to someone else, even after I expressed my name and appointment time. I had dip on my nails (no tips just dip), and the technician (Lily) didn't even soak them off, she used a small tool, almost like a credit card, to rip, and I mean RIP, them off my nails. I had an almond shape and was trying to grow my nails, but as she was ripping the dip off one of my nails broke. I told her to just cut them all down since the one nail broke. She offered to glue a tip but I declined because #1 I know they'd charge me for it #2 I was trying to grow my natural nails out. I also found that she was grinding down my nails so much to the point where it actually hurt. I'd gladly go back to my other salon where I can't get an appointment if that means they'll care about my nail growth/health, and actually listen to what I'm saying. Lily seemed annoyed and frustrated with me the entire time. the rest of the staff that didn't have clients were all behind me sitting down having their own conversation, which Lily also joined into. Well! This place was a total surprise. Had a gel manicure and a spa pedicure. Everything I ever wished for in a salon was here. Clean! Pleasant! Quiet and relaxing. The color selection is great. First time going here today and was nothing but impressed. The staff was very pleasant not knowing it was the first time and came close to their closing time. Simple things like a time clock was reassurance they gave you the massage that you ordered. Also had hot rocks available during the massages. Thanks Bethany M! I read your review, checked out the other reviews for Apple Nails, and popped right over this morning to get a mani pedi. While I arrived at 10, opening time, it was already open and there were two people ahead of me. They do take walk-ins but you may wait a moment. No matter. I sat and waited a few minutes while the owner said the others were "late". After about 5 min he brought me to a pedi chair and had me soak while waiting. The chairs are nice ones. Very comfortable. I don't know how new/old, but mine worked, was comfy and had working massage options. I'd say about 10:15 another employee arrived and got ready to do my pedi. The other two employees (one was the owner) were working on the others two ladies, one was a regular there, the other was a student from UB and looking for a place while in Buffalo for school. They both had gels manicures with designs etc. complicated. My pedi was very good. The employee was SUPER nice and very interested in feedback, I'd have been able to give more if there were any issues, but there really were not. I was very happy with the pedi. And she did a terrific polish job. Much better than my last one. I went on for the mani. I'm not a gel mani, just a plain old fashioned mani, no polish even. She was very good at that too. Took her time on both mani and pedi. No rush. No stress. Exactly what a mani pedi should be. Many color options, they are not organized at all, so you may need to look a little of searching for something specific. In other words, the reds are mixed with the blues, oranges, sparkles and more. Parking is easy out front. It's in a strip mall on NFB. I'm giving 5 stars out of the gate, after only one visit, as I think they will maintain this level of service. If they don't, I'll update my review to reflect changes. 5 stars for parking, color choices, and ambiance 5 stars for the outcome of the toes. Love them. 4.5 stars for the mani, a few rough edges found a little later in the morning, but next time I'll check that better before leaving. 5 stars for both the owner and technician who were polite, friendly, attentive. While they take some credit, NO AMEX. And they want the tip in CASH only, even have a sign saying that. So bring cash with you for the tip. * This review is based on comparison to other Buffalo nail salons. Compared to the others in Buffalo I have been to, this is a 5 star place. Similar to Q Nails, in Depew, this is a clean outfit with happy employees. Safety First (Delaware and Hertle) is also clean, but their odd rules make it difficult to go there. Even tho I had an appt, I waited 30 mins. all I had done was gel nail polish on the fingers. spent a lot of $ after tip and the nail polish started coming off within 2 days! I've been here multiple times before - not my favorite place but the last time I came here I had Neo and he was so sweet and did an amazing job on my nails! Today, not so much. I wanted to change colors (I have acrylics and dip powder). Previously, I had black and purple nails, this time I wanted pink and white. Lily was the person doing my nails and from the second I was sat down she was just rude and rough with me. She used the nail bit to file the color off but didn't even take it off all the way and left some on my nails. She dips my nails in the pink and of course the black is showing through. She goes through about 2 other pinks before she says I have to choose a darker color because pink and white won't work. I ended up having to choose a dark blue and I'm extremely disappointed with the service. Not even what I asked for and I had to pay over $40. I'd rather do my own nails than to have someone rush through mine and not get what I want because they were too lazy to take a color off. read more

Great service, a little awkward at first they had their Christmas tree right in the center. Was a little inconvenient as I am in a wheelchair getting around but they were helpful. I came in for a pedicure and they were packed, so we all know that normally means a quick pedicure not the 10-15 minute leg massage you generally get and pay for. Not here. I don't do my nails very often, usually for a special occasion or before going on vacation, and always came to this place and never was disappointed but this time around i didn't have a good experience. Three days after getting my nails done the polish was starting to peel off. When I was getting my nails done I asked the girl to make them all even length and shape and after I left some were longer and the shape was all off and on top of that the coats of polish were very unevenly distributed. ( on a picture I actually tried giving my nails a little bit of a better shape than what I was left with after service) Overall it was a waste of my time and $$ and I wouldn't come back here. Sorry. At first i was very pleased when i first came to get my nails done. I got powder gel and came back 2 weeks later. This time around I decided to get regular gel for 33 dollars instead of 43 dollars for powder. As I was about to pay they told me it was 43 dollars because they had to take the old polish off! WTF! If they had told me this prior I would have gotten powder gel and paid 43. THESE NAIL SALON IS A SCAM!
