I have used these guys before with some reasonable results, so I thought why not use them again? Well, I did. They were supposed to be at my apartment at 0900. Final cleaning is difficult to do without the furniture gone. The guys showed up around 1600. I had to be out of my apartment at 1800. That gave me about 30 minutes to clean. Needless to say I didn't get done in time and was not able to clean the carpet like I needed to. Sure enough, I was billed for carpet cleaning from the apartment management. Their excuse was the customer in front of me was being unreasonable. How is that my fault? How does another customer end up costing me money? I won't ever use them again. read more

I thought they were decently priced, fast with the move and were, for the most part, careful with my things. However, they scratched my leather couch on the way up my new condo's stairs. It's about a 6-8 inch cut all the way through the top of the seated cushion. It took some doing, but they sent a repair person who patched it up. However, a couple of months went by and the patch had come loose...the part that is sewn down is there, but half of it is sticking up and showing the large gash. I emailed Apple to see if they could send the repair person back, but they said the statute of limitations had expired (they just said "no") and basically I was S.O.L. I think I'll just glue it down and see how that goes in the future...but be careful if you are moving valuable things....be careful and watch the movers at every step. I should have noticed the sharp part of the bannister on the stairs and put something over it, but hindsight is 20/20. Everything besides the permanent damage to the most expensive thing in my apartment and Apple's unwillingness to fix the botched repair was great though. Use at your own risk and be weary of sharp bannisters. read more

Look, moving is never easy, but Apple Moving knows their stuff. Mindy is extremely helpful and really knows her stuff. These guys work hard and really care about MY STUFF as if it was their own. Don't listen to all the sales pitches from other moving companies. I trust Apple Moving and have recommended them to my friends who have used them as well. I have used them for years and never had an issues until my last move, which really showed me how much they value their customers... and they don't. The movers didn't wrap up any of my furniture before taking it outside. I had to keep asking to do so. When I got to my house they brought in my new mattress that I'd only had a few months and they had drug it on the floor of the van so it was all black. They also broke a leg off of a cabinet (and didn't tell me, found it later) and they broke several dishes. I filed a claim for everything and only got $60 back! After all the times I had used them and now the damage I have incurred due to their movers I will never be using them again. I now have a filthy mattress, which you can not have cleaned and broken items that can not be replaced (some were my grandmothers). Do not use them, you will be taking a risk. read more

To start - I don't write reviews. And after searching for 3 days and reading countless nightmare reviews on moving companies, I almost decided not to do this. But a co-worker suggested Apple. After speaking with Debbie & trying to estimate on the high side with my boxes, we came up with an agreeable estimate. No horror story here. And here's one for the books - the guys were early and THEY had to wait ON ME! When they arrived they got right to it, carefully handling my things and asking questions if they didn't know what to do with something. I had to leave to meet an installer, which meant they were going to be unsupervised. Wasn't a problem. I know I was probably a pain in the a** because I wanted "to help" but they cheerfully smiled and went on about their business. Benny, Julio, Anthony & Edwardo were fast, efficient, hardworking and took care of my things. I too, had neglected to mention a few things and was WAY low on the number of boxes I needed - so the difference in the final price was fair, (AND WORTH IT!) From start to finish - which included packing, loading, unloading, unpacking and drive time was maybe 5 hours. The ONE problem, (and the only one) was they overlooked one cabinet in the kitchen, which included my pots and pans. But, Benny called back several times, worried that I couldn't find them. Then on Monday, Debbie from the office also called saying that Benny was worried I hadn't found my things. By this time, I was able to drive back to the old place and find my stuff. Pretty damn good follow-up if you ask me. Maybe my experience was a good one because I told them up front that I knew about the horror stories. Maybe it's because I introduced myself and called them by name; offering them drinks all day - you know - treated them with kindness. Or maybe it's because I have red hair and they were afraid. Very afraid. But, for whatever reason - I was very satisfied with their service and I won't hesitant to use them again. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND this moving company and these guys imparticular. read more

I've used Apple movers twice in 3 years to move. Once from an 18th floor condo in Turtle Creek to Lakewood and once from Lakewood to Fort Worth. Bottom line: Great professionals, but the front office needs some work. The first move involved a very small freight elevator and a very full two bedroom condo. Despite these challenges, the three man crew from Apple did a great job and handled everything well. Unfortunately, some of the items were improperly stacked in the storage room where some of them were moved to, resulting in damage. This only became apparent during the second move. The second move, anticipating more things, we attempted to change our reservation from a 3 man crew to a 4 man crew with two trailers. Despite promising to follow up to confirm, I heard from no one at Apple between scheduling the move and the move itself despite repeated attempts to make contact. On the day of, a three man crew with one truck showed up and told us the trailer, as we feared, would not be big enough for the things in storage and a three bedroom two bathroom house. They offered to reschedule (unhelpful). We had to move that day, so we ultimately made two trips from Dallas to Fort Worth to get everything. It took ten hours. I felt bad for the three movers. It was hot and they were on the job longer than they should have been. The failure of the front office to respond/properly schedule the move cost them work and me money. Apple did offer a 20% discount for a repeat move, but the two trips more or less eliminated that savings. They're cheaper than many of their competitors and the service itself, while not perfect, is good but the communication from the front office needs to improve. Apple appears to be affiliated with AB movers. tl; dr: Make sure you get everything in your first call with the office because you won't have another chance. read more

We moved twice. Once from a house to an apartment during a house build and then from the apartment to our new house. Somehow, the second move was TWICE as expensive for the same amount if stuff AND we ended up having to ask the movers to leave because they were moving so slow. This isn't necessarily a bad company if you are lucky enough to get good movers, but our inquiry about the math behind the different costs were met with an apathetic "sorry" at best. read more

I have used Apple Moving twice since living in Dallas but I think I will switch to a different company this time. Although my second experience with Apple Moving was excellent, my first experience was pretty bad. During my first move, the movers did not wrap my furniture and bumped into walls and scraped my nice bedroom set. One young kid carried my headboard without any protection by himself down two flights of stairs. I have a large wood headboard and he bumped into the wall a few times and put some scratches in it. Same thing happened with the footboard and a few other items. Needless to say I don't really trust that getting a good group of movers is guaranteed so I will be switching companies this time. read more

If you need a reliable, reputable, company that stands behind their service, look ANYWHERE but here. Will, Deb, and Mindy are anything but those things. We were moving approximately 1.1 miles. Not very far, right? Looking for an inexpensive moving company. 1.1 miles can't be that difficult. Far enough to break and make unusable a $2,700 television forever. Don't worry though, I was paid for their admitted mistake. I was paid $108.00. 60 cents per pound "as my contract read." The TV was a year old so yeah, maybe it depreciated 96% in a year and two months. I went to non binding mediation with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, me, and good ol Apple Moving as that is Texas protocol. After being put on hold multiple times for Deb to speak to someone else who could make decisions for Red Apple. (You see, Deb, who was sent to mediate, couldn't actually negotiate or make decisions apparently.) She came back to say that since I had threatened to give them bad reviews online, she wouldn't do the right thing and pay for her employees mistakes. I didn't threaten bad reviews though. I threatened honest reviews, and here we are. We were told by the mediator that 85% of his cases are settled. I'd say that's relatively good odds, and shows that some companies to what is right when their customers make mistakes. Deb never even made an attempt to settle anything since she didn't have the authority to do so. She said I was demeaning to her employees. When asked repeatedly, for a circumstance in which that happened, she could not provide a single instance. No examples, just that my tone was harsh. I'm sure it was since your employee broke my almost $3,000 television and then sent me a check for $108. The mediator repeatedly asked her if she was sure that she didn't even want to offer a dime. He seemed completely dumbfounded with her lack of concern and inability to do the right thing. I have attempted contact via email, voicemail, and messages to speak to the owner, Wil Chilton, I have yet to hear from anyone. I take that back. I did get a brief email saying he had spent the last 6 weeks out of the country for him and his wife's anniversary. A trip it seems I helped pay for. Take a look at his FB, it's quite classy. I can tell you how many times it says the word pu$$# on it if you think that is appropriate, can't find it, or find it classy for a business owner to have on his Facebook just let me know. I'll help you. I did leave off the part that the movers conveniently brought a trailer that was too small so they would have to make two trips. They blamed that on us too. read more

I have used this company 5 times in the past 4 years. Due to my loyalty it is clear I thought they were amazing. This last time in October my Apple Watch was Stolen. I searched both locations and tried to connect my watch to my phone and find it with no luck. I put it in my bedside table drawer before the move. It was stolen. Apple movers employees including the owner have not responded or offered to reimburse me for the watch. They basically said their movers wouldn't steal. I relied very heavily on Yelp reviews when I was selecting a moving company for my recent move, so I figured I should pay it forward. I had a great experience with Apple. As I was moving stuff from Dallas to Fort Worth, the hourly rate movers were quoting me a very high price to allow for the travel time, plus other random fees. I don't have a lot of stuff, and Apple was able to quote me a per-item rate. It ended up being about $200 less than the quotes from several other companies. Best of all, the guys were great. Showed up about 15 minutes early, were professional and quick, and the price was just as agreed upon in advance. I recommend them, and I'd use them again. read more

We, like other Yelp users, found interesting reviews for moving companies. It seemed like the more I read, the more bad experiences I found like about things being broken, misplaced, etc., but that wasn't the case with our move. We could not be more pleased with the service we received! The crew was fast, efficient, and friendly. We were moving from DFW AP/360 area to downtown Dallas, both 2nd floors and of course it was already 90 degrees by 8:30. This crew worked fast and hard! We would recommend Apple to anyone moving, and Mindy was also a big help with the price quoting, and going back and forth over what had changed with our itinerary. The staff was great, and we felt like the move was also affordable. We would def go with Apple again! read more

From my experience, I would not recommend them to anyone. First, they told us that they would send three guys to help with moving to our new house (not a problem they say). Come moving day, they pull a fast one and have just two guys with the move. After telling them, we have some very heavy items. Fast forward get everything moved to new home - things are broken or not working properly. I call and submit a claim and supposedly they submitted it to their insurance deparment. Week later get a check and letter saying they were paying 60 cents per pound. Long story short, this company is unreliable to complete a given task. If it is completed they will not even make it right with you. I don't expect them to be in business long running a business like this. Employees dropping items and lying about it and an office sweeping it under the rug. Hopefully this review helps someone not make the mistake I did. read more

The Absolute Worst Moving Experience Ever!!!! I opened a Yelp Account to Warn Other Consumers! I have also reported them to Better Business Bureau & Dallas County Consumer Protection Agency..... #1 They arrived 1 hour 15 minutes late. Moving window was from 2-4. They showed up at 5:15. Had to go to Storage Facility 1st because of the closing time and then Back Track all the way back to the apartment 15 miles. Added 45 min-1 hour to move (on the clock $95/hour). #2 Once apartment was packed up they left right behind us to our destination. They took 1 full hour longer than us to travel 27 miles (Dallas to Frisco). It took so long that we had to call them because we were genuinely worried. Arrived at 10:30pm at night #3 Broke a Media Cabinet and said nothing Outcome: We complained to the Office Manager about all of our grievances. She told us that they would refund 2.5 hours ($237.50) and repair our furniture . 3 weeks later we received $95. The Owner refused to call us back regarding the other amount and the supposed "Furniture Repair Co" has yet to contact us. In the end (2 months later) the Office Manager said they have closed this file and I will have to dispute the $$$$ with my Credit Card Co....No Furniture Repair/Replacement. Awful Awful Company!!!! I paid by item and it was a much better deal than hourly. They were done fast, polite, and took good care of our stuff. It was less than 250 for about 15 pieces. Make sure you discuss every single thing that could be an additional cost beforehand and there won't be any surprises. They charge for saran wrap, greater than 1000ft distances from truck to door, flights with no elevator...etc. typical with any moving company. Also, there were no damages and we had some pretty hefty furniture. read more

STOLEN Debit card number!!! The movers were quick and efficient, BUT the next morning we found thousands of dollars in fraudulent charges on my debit card. I spent the entire day after our move (like I didn't have a million other things to do!) canceling my debit card, disputing charges, filling out police reports and calling all the vendors to try to stop the orders from being shipped. After talking to one of the companies with the largest charge (he tried to order about $3600 worth of stuff, but due to the limit on our debit card, this transaction was just under $900), they gave me the name and address of who ordered it. After calling Apple Moving, they confirmed that the name matched. When the police went to their offices, he admitted taking my card number and charging things. The police officer that contacted me yesterday said that the employer had already received a complaint on this guy for the same thing. This company sent a criminal into my house and now we are trying to recover the money stolen. read more

I used this company a total of 4 times. The first 3 times everything went ok, but then during the 4th move, I got to see how Apple really takes care of customers when something doesn't go right. The lady that answers the phone and sets appts was quick to just blame the customer and didn't take any responsibility for the move. She asked me to give my personal phone to the mover that arrived and then didn't even have the courtousy to come back to tell me that they would fix it. I had to come up with my own solution. I posted a comment on Facebook and the company chose to delete it and only show their "good comments". If you notice that REAL companies will leave all comments up and with comments that are not so fair in rating, they comment back to show other customers and that customer that they really do care about the service level at any issue. Being a loyal customer and even referring business to them to only be treated like this is extremely disappointing and I have since then reported this company to the BBB and advised people in my own company to never use Apple again. Now I see why they claim awards, they delete and block anything negative so people don't see their true colors. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!! read more

Bad company, worst MANAGEMENT, UNRELIABLE 1. Came late 2. Gave me a quote and then doubled it when the stuff was already in the truck 3. Said the truck was full and that they will come next day for the rest (the don't have trucks but a small attached to a wagon) -A new crew came next day for the rest and Apple wanted to charge me for the trip when it was already paid for. Will Chilton and his business contracts are simply illegal he hid behind some Texas Administrative Code in order to not be insured for damages his crew inflects on your property and your home..Im a repeat customer until this move where his 4 man crew refused to use shrink wrip and furniture pads on my $2500 leather 8 ft sofa and my hair on hide wing back chair $3500 and they damaged both..they blew smoke for 2 weeks about their insurance carrier would be in contact to only get a check on the mail for $102.00 for damages. ..DO NOT USE APPLE MOVERS!! read more

They showed up 1 hour late (their arrival time was between 2-4P and they came at 5:30P) which messed up when I had reserved the elevator at my apartment complex and made checkout from the apartment difficult (office closed at 6P) and my new place was 5 hours away and we left Dallas late. Horrible experience!! These guys moved my business and the movers damaged the loading dock of the new building that we moved into. After being notified by the building management of the damages, I provided them with Apple Moving company's information. The building has the incident on video, along with live pictures. They contacted Debbie at the time, to retrieve their insurance/bondage information, but of course this has not been provided. This has been going on for a few months, and I've been informed that I will be responsible for the damages, due to Apple Moving company not responding to their requests. Now I've spoken with Marci, who has informed me that the previous owner has passed away. It's been three weeks, and the same thing is happening again. Lack of communication, no response, etc. I've spoken with Marci and Mindy, and it seems like Mindy is nothing more but a gatekeeper! You would think that after paying these guys $2,000 for a move, feeding their workers, and tipping them, you would be treated better than this!! They are a scam, and you will be out of way more money. Now we are forced to get our attorneys involved. I used Apple in my first move in the DFW and everything went peachy keen. However, I used them this past Friday and I will never use them or recommend them to anyone. I had scheduled a move and they were set up to come between 2pm-4pm on a Friday. No one showed up until 7:30 that evening. The movers didn't speak ant english, and didn't finish unloading the first trip until midnight that night. We still had two more pick ups we had scheduled and paid for and neither were completed. Needless to say, half of my house and furniture was not moved leaving my children without anything to sleep on and barely an of our necessities moved for us to be able to live in our new home. When I called them on Saturday to ask them when they had planned to pick up the rest of our stuff no one answered the phones for the whole day or even called back from our multiple voicemails. We called them one last time Sunday morning and left another message but, they are closed. We have resulted to renting a Uhaul and moving the rest of our stuff ourselves. We were ripped off MAJORLY and are having to spend even more money to fix the mess they created. VERY RUDE STAFF I will make sure that I speak with Will the owner of the company about the way I was treated on the phone when getting a quote. Originally when I called I spoke with (who I found out later was the receptionist) and she quoted me for 3 bedroom 2 bath move it would be $95 per hour for a 2 man Crew and $135 per hour for a 3 man crew. I informed her that I would like to go with a 2 man crew and would like to schedule for this weekend, She also said that the "2 man crew was very fast" After putting me on hold a woman by the name of Mindy came to the phone and asked what could she help me with (as if she was starting the quote over) WHICH SHE DID. I told her the home I had and she then gave me the quote of $135 per hour not even giving me the option of $95 per hour. I asked her why I was quoted something different before she came on the phone. She said that the other person was a receptionist. And gave me the wrong quote. This is not the clients fault. This is something that needs to be handled in house. Because somewhere they are lacking communication. I then asked to speak to the manager, and of course Mindy said she was the manager. I think asked for the owner he was not in. And then guess what Mindy said rudely I might add "good luck with your move" and then hung up in my face. I then called back and spoke with someone else....asking for Will voice mail and I let him know the people that he has working for him and that writing a review about the service. Apple Moving DFW came highly recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint! We had a complicated move - moving five hours away into a smaller house so we had half the house going to storage and the other half going to the new house. Everything ended up where it was supposed to be, on time, and safely and securely. We asked them to pack the kitchen, and nothing was broken or damaged. We made last-minute changes and they remained flexible and helpful in getting the job done. The cross-state was done in one day! Those guys worked tirelessly and had a great sense of humor, which was a refreshing break from the drudgery of a move. The front office staff was always accommodating and nice, offering suggestions on how best to structure our move. And, as icing on the cake, you can't beat the price ! Showed up early, moved fast and damaged quite a bit after I started looking at the furniture. They ripped the seat off of an expensive bicycle (showed them) and big chunks out of furniture that is hard to see until they are gone and you can look at everything. Super nice guys and super fast, but expensive and not as careful as they could be. I will not use in the future. Filing a claim for my poor bike. Don't even think it can be fixed. They are not the worst, but not the best. They do wrap stuff up, but I guess not good enough. read more

The only thing good I can say about this company is that at first they were pleasant on the phone. I asked for a quote for my square footage and was given one. They told me it would be beneficial to fill out their online quote information to lock in a price. I did that twice and they said they never received it. I booked their estimators to come to my house to give me a quote. They didn't show. I'm glad I didn't wait until moving day to be disappointed in this company nor trust them with my belongings. read more

The absolute worst!!! We had made reservations about two weeks in advance. We moved a 72 woman with early dementia from Houston to dallas. We arrived at new apt and waited for Apple to arrive between the hours of 1000 and 1100. We called repeatedly and apple said "on our way". They NEVER showed leaving an elderly female with dementia sitting in her empty apt as her furniture sat outside in a rented truck.THEY NEVER SHOWED UP BUT KEPT SAYING "ON OUR WAY ".please listen to me this is the most unprofessional moving company I have ever dealt with and I have used several over the course of several years. How could they leave an elderly 72 year female with dementia sitting on her floor for over 12 hours??? Yes we where able to get another moving company to come out at 9:00 PM because Apple abandoned an elderly female. FYI THEY WHERE AWARE OF THE WOMAN'S AGE , HER MEDICAL CONDITION AND HER SITTING ON THE FLOOR IN AN EMPTY APT. read more

I wouldnt recoomend this company at all..I just moved sat we atleast I thought we had all items confirmed when my quote was given , when the movers arrived there was another story upon time of arrival to my dismay they stated my couch was never listed such a major item never listed!! So ofcourse I paid them more due to it needed to be done what a way to break the ice asking for more money. Once I got ahold of management ofcourse they denied denied denied wouldnt pull phone records and whomever answers is a manager. I wasnt satisfied with the move nor first time experience I should of went with my gut instinct when they first arrived but ive learned my lesson hopefully you wont have to!
