Bad with communication and take too long. My mover was Terrence and another guy, can't remember his name. The moment i seen these guys i just knew they would take their time. It cost me $600 to move a one bedroom. One of the movers smelled like alcohol. Terrace is just out of shape for this kind of work. I had everything packed and furniture wrap for protection and things still got damaged. I even had my own dolly taking items to the truck. Still took 5hrs. Brand new $150 Ninja Air fryer completely destroyed. Airfryer was in its original packaging. When i contacted Sherman he told me to contact Terrance who was over the move. I contacted by txt the same day and he read my txt and still til this day haven't responded to my txt. After countless txt back and forth to the owner Sherman I'm still waiting on the another person to contact me about an insurance claim. ( have txt to prove). to be in business for some quite sometime the communication sucks. I've always tried to support black business but justmovedfw let me down. GO ELSEWHERE! If I could negative stars, I would. Unfortunately yelp has not implemented that yet. Damages in this move consisted of my leather couch, my dining table, my sons bed frame, my king size mattress and my side tables to my bedroom set. I'll include pictures so y'all can see. Let's talk about my nightmare of a move. Carlton, Brian and Vince were my movers who were an hour an half late with no communication. I had a 2 bedroom apartment and moved into a 2 bedroom apartment. It took 3 "men" FOUR HOURS to move HALF of the apartment. I told them I had a budget of $600. I brought to their attention that I needed them to move the big stuff first because I could haul the small stuff myself. Brian (the team lead) stated they NEEDED to take boxes first so he did just that disregarding my request. When I told him I'm only needing services for 6 hours, he then no longer wanted to work. I have a 3 piece sectional couch that is a bit heavy. They struggled carrying the couch. More so when Carrolton, the one with the gold grill in his mouth told everyone (including his two coworkers) that he was done with this effing move and eff this shit he is out and proceeded to walk off and slam the door. My husband had to jump in and help his coworkers move the couch inside of the apartment. I stood in disbelief. Then... I looked at my couch. THE DAMAGES!!! There were obvious damages, the leather was ripped on the sides, it was now showing the white stitching from inside the couch. Why was this not wrapped? The couch was dropped because of Carrolton's unwillingness to help. I immediately brought it to Brian's and Vince's attention, Brian stated well you told us you wanted us done in six hours. So since I told him that I had a budget that gave Brian the green light to go ahead and destroy my hard earned personal belongings? Just WOW. But wait for it... Vince then states "well you only signed the 60% insurance." So Vince's comment, before you start the move they make you choose 3 insurance options... no insurance, 60% insurance per pound, or $100 upfront deposit and they pay out 100% damages. So he basically told me in that moment that because I did not pay the $100 deposit upfront then they were not going to take care of my items during the move. I immediately called Sherman since he is owner of the moving company and advised him of what had taken place. He stated the move would be "free." My friend who was arriving then called me while I was on the phone with Sherman advising that there were movers dropping someone's washer. It was Carrolton dropping MY washer. He decided he would take it upon himself to allow his emotions to seek through and drop my washer off the truck while on the phone stating to the other person on the line that he was so effing done with this move, eff this n***** and eff these b**** a** pigs. My husband and I are first responders, we are both police. I get that unfortunately we are not well liked by many in this current day but for someone to purposely have no regard for my personal belongings that I'm PAYING THEM to move. It is completely insulting. You may hate my profession, that's fine. JUST MAKE IT KNOWN THAT YOU DO NOT WANT POLICE OFFICERS AS CUSTOMERS. We can always go elsewhere. I'm not sure what type of business Sherman is running but I know a lot of people who would understand the displeased outlook I have regarding this whole nightmare of a move. I'm attempting to try and work with Sherman in regards to the damages but as of right now nothing is being done. I moved on 9-14-2018 and it's now 9-29-2018. I will compliment Sherman on that weekend, he did send a different crew of movers that Sunday 9-16-2018 to finish the rest of the apartment. Those movers were way more professional and had better attitudes. However, we still had to extend our lease and pay a fee for non cleaning since the cleaning lady could not come due to all the stuff not moved from the original move out date. Once we unpacked more and more, the damages starting becoming more apparent... my sons footboard broken in half, my king size mattress torn along the side and dropped down three flights of stairs. It is permanently dirty and has a black line on its side from dragging through the street and probably won't last another move. Goodbye $2500 mattress. Sherman did make a home visit and saw the damages himself. He stated he is a small business owner trying to build himself up and would not be able to pay out of pocket for the damages since the extent of the damages would put him out of business. I'm not sure if this company does not have any insurance but that's what it seems like. Nothing has been done at this point. There was another negative review, somehow that got deleted but the irony was it was the same crew. Maybe they took care of her and she choose to delete it? Who knows but I felt her pain. read more

Three movers showed up smelling like marijuana. The only large pieces of furniture I had were a couch, dresser and king bed. The rest of my belongings were boxed up and I had paintings as well as workout equipment. I had all of the boxes moved to my office which was close to the garage and close to where the truck was parked. One of the guys stayed in the back of the truck the entire time, another guy used one hand to hold his phone and the other to drag my belongings across concrete and the last guy didn't want to be there at all. They scratched up my floors as well as caused damage to the walls. They did their best to ride the clock and they succeeded. It took them so long, I ended up carrying boxes and placing them right next to the truck. That didn't help speed up the process because they still took their time. My belongings were being moved from Grand Prairie to Crowley into a storage unit. As they were taking my things off of the truck and into the storage unit I noticed the damages. Brand new leather couch and chair were damaged on the corners, a painting was ripped down the middle and the majority of everything else scratched. When I said something about the damages, the young man that didn't want to be there took off his shirt and acted like he wanted to fight me... by the way, I am a woman. For a job that should have taken 4 hours max including the drive, it took them 9 hours and cost me over $800 for belongings equivelant to a one bedroom apartment. I immediately began calling the owner Sherman Holman who seemed really nice in the beginning. He then started avoiding my calls so, I left messages every time I called as well as text messages. Someone that answered the phone said he was going through personal issues so, I gave him space. When I finally did get in contact with him, he had the audacity to say that it had been too long since it happened. I tried to be nice, patient and understanding and got taken advantage of by this company. Do not use their services at all. They caused substantial damage to my property ($600 to even have my painting looked at) and overcharged me for the move. It is a true scam and Sherman Holman is the biggest scam by leading me to believe that he would do the right thing. You need negative stars on here because they don't deserve the one. read more

Terrible experience. I was referred to them by another moving company that I used to put all my things into storage. They did a good job and the price was fair. Where do I start....We started the service at 4:48 pm. I was given a quote by Brian that it would be around 3 hours to 3.5 hours at $100 per hour. They only need to make 1 trip since they had a 26 foot truck and 3 movers. The storage location was about 20 minutes from my new home. They didn't make it to my house until 7:57pm. It took 3 guys 3 hours to load up one truck and drive 20 minutes. I complained to Sherman that it was talking them too long and the quote was for 3 hours. He said he would give me a flat rate and stop the clock once they got there. That didn't happen. Once they made it, they were bringing in one bag at a time instead of grabbing as much as they could carry. I moved into a new construction home and they scratched my front door bringing furniture in. I brought it to Brian's attention and he looked at me crazy and walked out of the door never addressing the issue. They were moving so gingerly my daughter and I started helping them move stuff off the truck. They didn't finish unloading everything until after 10:30 almost 11pm. I just ready for them to go. Then we called Sherman the supervisor/owner and they wanted to charge me $550 for the piss poor service. I asked about the flat fee and stopping the clock; he said the best he could do was $515. Once I started to unpack I found 2 broken pictures, broken ceramics, missing bed rails, a broken lamp, and not to mention again my scratched up door and I never got the storage key back that I need to turn into the storage facility. I had to harass Sherman to get the key returned to the storage facility and that took over a week. I have spoken with Sherman numerous times about my bed rails missing and he wants to make every excuse in the world about that. He will not compensate or replace anything...the missing rails, the money for the air mattress ($70), the money for the rail replacement ($99), the broken pictures, the broken lamp, the broken ceramics nor the door they scratched up. He nor his staff will take responsibility for anything that they have done. I have been out of over $650 for replacing everything that they have broken or lost and I have yet to get an apology or reimbursement for any of my things and on top of it all I was overcharged. One of the movers came into my house playing vulgar music with a lot of cursing. Very inappropriate. They were polite but their service sucks. I would not recommend them to anyone...not even to move one table across the street to a neighbor. I have labeled them "Trash Movers". Save your money. The movers were friendly and professional, but I was disappointed that the move took 6 hours for a one bedroom apartment move. Also, they had a difficult time figuring out how to move one piece up the stairs. The piece didn't get moved and the paint was scratched off in the process. read more

We contacted Just Move to help us move out of our home of sixteen years as we prepare to place it on the market. The movers arrived on November 11, 2020 and we immediately heard a loud bang and came out to find our matured tree was hit and a branch was laying in the street. The movers were very apologetic and immediately called the office to report their accident. My husband used his electric saw to cut up the wood and move it out of the street so that it was not a hazard to our neighbors. We contacted the office on Sunday and Monday before finally reaching someone. When we were able to get in contact with someone on Monday, they advised us they would contact the driver and get back in contact with us. After failing to hear back from someone on Monday, we contacted the office once more on Tuesday and the individual we spoke with, Brandon, advised that they spoke with the driver and got the picture and could now remove the branch from the street - two days after the initial incident and after we'd already removed the hazard from the street. We advised him that we would appreciate if someone came out and assess the damage to the tree and take care of it as we have to take pictures of our home to place it on the market. Today is Sunday, November 22nd, one week after the accident, and we have yet to hear from anyone and no one has come out to assess the damage or attempt to right this wrong. We contacted a tree service to come properly cut the tree flush and stain it and Just Move didn't even offer to reimburse us for that service. The movers were awesome, aside from this accident, and we would have used them again but because the owner and management handled this situation so horribly we will be using another company with our other moves. These people have been turned over to the BBB. You should check with them before hiring a moving company. Not only did they damage furniture, and lose parts to a precious grandfather's clock belonging to my mother but items were missing as well. Many emails and a phone call with the assistant manager have gone unresponsive (I have recorded the phone call). All I asked of them is to pay for the repair of the clock and they would still be making money. They refused. They did an excellent job with my move! The guys were very efficient and no nonsense, it took them only 3.5 hours to move me from Mansfield to Grapevine! My family could not believe how fast they were. They even took the time to move an old washer and dryer to the garage and hook up the newer one. The estimate they quoted was exactly what I paid. Would highly recommend! From the moment I scheduled the move I was treated with care and kept updated by phone. I scheduled to move 2 home locations into one home.. because this move would take 2 trips I was scared of the overall price exceeding my budget.. amazingly enough it was very affordable and within my quote! Rain was forecasted for the day of our move. I spoke to the owner the days leading up and said we can start as early as possible to avoid rain. The morning of the move it was sunny and beautiful and I was so happy that it was going to go smoothly. Rain was still in the forecast for the afternoon though. The movers we're about 2 hours late which made me insanely nervous since the game plan was to get moved before the rain came in. Once the movers did arrive we did a walk through and they got started. They were super efficient and handled my belongings with care while moving at a steady pace. End of the day, they got everything unloaded in the new place and not 5 minutes later a loud thunder clap boomed. We were moving a bit later than planned, but it all worked out and the guys were super polite and gave us a little discount due to the delay. There were a few boxes that were ripped or damaged in some way, but we've not found any damaged contents yet, so no harm! I would definitely use these guys again! read more

So, I happened to call Sherman late yesterday evening around 11:30PM, I was apprehensive calling because it was late and I've been getting turned down all evening to find movers! But he answered my distressed call! We were able to be fit in and the next day Sherman and his band came in, ON TIME, took really good care of my furniture (3 bedroom sets, a dining room, miscellaneous desks, fridge, and washer & dryer, to be exact) and moved me around 8 miles away in under 2.5 hours. Came in and gave me the reassuring feeling that everything was gonna be a breeze and it was! The worst exp. I have ever had. I will be writing a review after all this is over. I am having to hire more people to come in and clean up, move the furn., box's, where u can use the space, find my cloths, shoes, etc. that haven't been found as of yet. And yes I paid him his bid was 1170.00, then I told Sherman to add he wasn't adding enough but I have caught on to these movers the less they bid, yet the more they go over, what a way to do business. Then second bid was 1790.00, then after 3 day I was at 4K, then 2 days later I am at 6500.00, and had the gall to say to me because I was in wreck on Fri. 2 days after they started but knew what to do and where to take what, I was sick in the bed. Had the gall to tell me he felt I was trying to keep from paying him. Really... WOW and I gave them a chance, they are young people, starting out and I know how that is but Sherman even mentioned the fact he wasn't as blessed as me well it took me 43yrs to get what I do have, where I am today. Young people just want, yet we work for years right now and feel we owe them, I will never do this again go off feeling. I ended up paying 4K, plus his g/friend owed me 1200 which she gave to him, that is 5200.00, then all the broken Designer High end Lamps M/ARM. lamps at that, broke tv this was the mother and g/f. that broke the stuff, then I give them a desk with a cred/so I am at the house on 5/5/18 after I had to hire another co. to finish move what they left they wanted but couldn't afford and didn't want after they broke, but get this one they loaded a truck load and held it as hostage? Kept my stuff, but in this desk as I am cleaning I try to move it I had taken pic's of the house of all that was left and what was in the garage etc. as it sit, then I am cleaning but the desk I knew wasn't that heavy, the doors are taped with the heavy duty tape inside is 2 laptops, along with many electronics, and I do have witness's to this along with pics. so after taking a truck load of my personal property, and then filling the desk etc. with my personal items all electronics, I have the pics to prove it and then my pass word book was in a box in my office to come to my new residence also was in this desk, all my password to all cr cds etc. I was in such shock. I will post more, I am having to hire another co. to come and find my cloths as Sherman new these were to come where I was, I still have no cloths, no shoes, etc. I have none of my office files, not half of my Waterford Crystal I can't find, but the way the storage buildings are and the way that they threw my furn that is correct threw and 2 of his men didn't know I was laying in the bed and watched them throw. I jumped up an then I called Sherman, he states I didn't communicate it was I do have the text, I called that morn ear. I have my time line in detail, I have all my records, text, etc. but so much can't be found and I am told by my ins. co. the pic I took before they came 3 days prior and all my pics I do one time per qut. this is something everyone should do. But I have all my evidence ready and I am told from my ins. co. I have no choice but to turn in stolen and then if I find it then I will have the report corrected. Sherman and his Mother both new of Brand new Wedding Dress's, Gowns, Minks, designers cloths, shoes, etc. and I have not found any yet. So I will have to spend money to find all my personal property, but right now it is not there I can't see it, I cant move the stuff to find anything, nor will they pay if break something JUST MOVE HAS NO INS. so beware don't hire. I will have to file report, then put a lien on them for what I can't find. Let's hope it's hidden but the broken items these cost and one way or another they will get paid for. I so wish I could post pics of the storage building's on this site but go to Pissed off I will be posting there and u will see pics. All I can say is these don't have their own trucks, no ins., and then his workers or some of them were going to take from me now did they ? we will find out...I did find one blue topaz with over a ct. of diamonds that was around the blue topaz, w/gold, in the desk, I will have to match up inv. to all Jewelry due to I was in the business and I find this ring in the desk. WOW... And my password book that was packed in a box in my office down stairs, makes it out of the box into this desk I gave them. All passwords to many cr. cds. and other accounts that are not even mine but I take care of the bills for these people like my mother. We have had to close out accts. change passwords, put theft prot. on everything all due to them ? who ever took my book out of my box in my office and put in the desk, and to think they would try and take my late husbands items really angered me. My late husband. He would have had them in jail by now. I am not pointing because I don;t know who or which one did this yet this will be handle the proper way by the police not me.
