Replaced my battery as a walkin, unlike the Apple at Westfarms, who will make an appointment then... Not do the work. Employees at Apple in Evergreen Walk are polite. They greet you at the door, see what you need, and get on it, or get you in que if they are busy. Just the acknowledgement that you exist is a stark difference, compared to Westfarms. I will be going to this one again. read more

Don't waste your time. The Apple Support people via telephone are more kind an helpful thank these fools. I have spent 11 days trying to get my sons ICLOUD password reset. A ton of phone calls later, 11 days later and a trip to APPLE at Evergreen Walk..... his password still not reset. PLEASE. Like a billion dollar company cant change a password? Come on now. At the store, Tim will be kind at first as if he can help you. Then , we he realizes he CANNOT help you, he gets snotty and rude. Blames you too on top of it. Useless waste of 2 hours. read more

Used to be a great place. Even 2 years ago. Have gone couple of times lately personnel are arrogant and ignorant. One previous to yesterday, went for a warranty, attendant made us wait for an hour. Told us that he would take care, then he came back saying that there was nothing he could do about it. Yesterday, went for an accessory, showed the salesman the iPad. Asked him twice if this was the correct accessory, he replied on cynical mode yes. Today, arrived. Accessory doesn't fit. I needed it for a meeting. read more

Had the worst customer service experience there a few months ago. Went in the buy a new Apple TV. The CSR was rude, condescending, sarcastic and just not a nice person. He actually snatched the cash out of my hand. I should have snatched it right back and told him what to go do w himself, instead I called and unloaded on his poor supervisor, who really wasn't able to offer much more than a lame apology for her employee's egregious behavior. I will never set foot in that store again. read more

Apple is my contact for apple product repair, they have the parts most of the time but are pricey. They tend to send the item to be repaired back out of state facility rather then on site. This is usually a repair charge over $400 but they include shipping, additional items that may need also to be replaced and 90 day warranty on this work. They no longer make phone appointments but use a robot online appointment system. The system tries to fill their open slots rather then offer convenient time of day. The apple store is a mix of customers trying to buy products and those needing a repair or instruction on how to use their item. The appointment time is only the time you should arrive and then you wait for the next available tech, who usually hands you off to another tech if your item is to be sent to factory for repair. On busy times the store is like the military, hurry up and wait and wait. The waiting is on uncomfortable stools and tables that remind you of school cafeteria next to another customer waiting his turn to see a tech. read more

I've been using Apple products for several years, and this is my go to store. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure Each customer is satisfied. I have only had amazing interactions and experiences with the Apple Store and with Apple products. I am so thankful there is now an Apple Store near me in South Windsor. I waited online for the iPhone 11. It's the first time ever I received the iPhone on day one. Yes the line was long, but they took good care of us. They passed our water and though it seems small, it felt like a big thing. They took the time to help me set up my phone. The staff rung a bell when the first shift got off. It really was a neat experience. Plus outside of that, I love apple, love their stuff and in another life would totally work there. read more

My mom was having trouble with her Apple Watch. I personally don't wear one, so I'm not too familiar about its settings and troubleshooting. I took the watch for her to the Apple Store in Evergreen to hopefully get the issue resolved. I didn't have an appointment, but I figured it wasn't the busiest time of day to go. I walked in the door, the young man asked if I needed help, I explained the issue and handed him the watch. He went through the settings and immediately resolved the issue. This took about 30 seconds. I've also gone to this store for purchases and for help with other Apple devices. The store associates are quick, knowledgeable and professional. If there's a brand new product release, the line to get inside might be crazy, however the line is always less crazy at this location then at the mall. Depending when you're going it might be a good idea to have an appointment. I recommend shopping at this Apple store, or going here for support for your Apple device, they definitely deliver quality services. read more

What a complete waste of time. I haven't purchased an iPhone in about 2 years. Pre COVID obviously. But I came in to get assistance with setting up my iPhone 13. "Brandon" was dispatched to NOT-assist me. He basically came over to inform me how he was not going to help me and I could do it myself. He did offer all the other resources I could contact for assistance without apple. This will be my last apple product. And I'm returning the new phone. Maybe a nice Samsung will do. read more

I went to the apple store to have my phone fixed which is covered under apple care. They can not get the parts for 24 hours and when asked them for a replacement phone since they didn't have the parts they replied that it wasn't an option. Placed an order for an iPhone, via 1-800MYAPPLE. Was told I would receive an email when ready for pickup. Hours went by, I telephoned, and found out my order had been cancelled by Apple. Why? Because the doofus at 1800APPLE entered the wrong zip code for my address. Did Apple (hq or S. Windsor) bother to call me, and have me correct? NO! Had an appointment for the Genius Bar. Was ignored and others with walk ups/later appointments taken before me. Very disappointed

Disorganized. Self-proclaimed cutting edge of technology, but neither here nor Westfarms can figure out a waiting/greeting system. Walk in, no one says anything, no signs regarding how to get helped. I'd like to give you money. Hello? Hey...how can I give you money? Their in-store model would never work for a business that didn't have such a trendy following. If I must...I'll continue to buy Apple products online or in 3rd party stores. read more

Had to make an appt for my sons phone. An update pretty much crippled his phone. They offered to send it out bc it was a common issue and fix it for free. The associate we worked with also gave us options to replace the battery (another issue) and gave us a quote to upgrade. We upgraded to a Xr and got full trade in value for a 7. Great service! They helped transfer info, get it set up and explained the phone and perks! Wonderful! read more

Great experience! I was helped right away and I was in and out within 5 minutes. After months of debating if I should buy the Apple Airpods I gave in and bought them. I walked in and was greeted by multiple employee and asked if I needed any help. I declined the help as I wanted to browse around. Everything in the store is well organized and I was able to locate the Airpods right away. I must not go inside an Apple store often because I learned that you can't just grab an item and go check out. Everything must be brought to you by someone in the back. Once I was ready to check out an employee came over and assisted me. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the woman (tall blonde) that helped me, but she was super helpful and friendly!!! I would definitely come back to this Apple store. read more

Apple just sent me a survey about the main guy who helped me. He name was James. And here is my response: James was great. What was not great was the estimation of how long I was gonna be in there, and the fact that not one person takes care of me as a customer, and there didn't seem to be communication until I literally had tears in my eyes. Let me explain: James explained to me the whole process, got me to sign a bunch of stuff and told me about the risk of replacing the screen on my phone. That's all fine. He told me it'd take about an hour. That was 4:45. My phone didn't have the latest iOS and that wasn't his fault. But by the time I got the update done it was 5:10. Then I flagged down someone to take my phone in. I gave my name but the person didn't seem to know what was going on even though he got my last name and he looked all confused and kept asking me if I already went through the survey and if I had an appointment. I had been in the store for almost 50 minutes at that point. Then finally they took my phone and it was a lady who took it. At this point I already talked to 4 people in the store. She said it would take 45 minutes. If I left the store, I should come back at 6:15. I was supposed to be home to relieve my kid's nanny by 6 and it would take me 30 mins to get home. So I texted my nanny and apologize profusely and said I'd be home by 6:45. Got something to eat, came back at 6:10. Talked to someone different, and he said it wasn't ready. I waited until 6:40pm and nobody came looking for me. I asked someone else and at this point, I'm almost in tears because I should have been home for my baby 40 minutes ago. Finally person #6 said he would go in and look. More waiting. Ten minutes later I literally body blocked person #7 to ask for my phone back. Then person #8 said I'll help you, the phone is with person #6 right next to him but she had been helping another customer. Finally before person #8 could help me #6 was done and I finally got out of the store at 6:55pm. I got home 1.5-hour late. If the system is such that James could follow-through with me from the beginning, I don't think any of this could happen. I think you all rely on your "centralize" system too much and you do not seem to have anything in place to follow through with what you had promised the customer (it will only take 1 hour). Not cool. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I had an appointment for 12:00 pm. Didn't get seen until 12:30. My original issue was a cracked front screen and my phone stuck in "SOS ONLY" they woman took my phone and said "Come back at 2:30pm". Cool my husband and I went to the restaurant across the street and returned at 2:30pm only to be told to sit and wait for a manager to come speak to us. The manager then looks at us and walks away to help another customer. We flagged down another worker and they said "Come back at 4:50". Boom we walk around for a bit then return at 4:50 only to be told there was a mistake and the phone needed more repairs and to come back at 6:10. WE LEAVE AND COME BACK AT 6:15. Just to be told to sit and wait and that my phone was done and being looked over. FINALLY at 7:25pm the worker, with a very bad attitude comes out with a new phone. So I ask "Did you really make me go back and forth for 7 hours JUST to give me a new phone." He blatantly ignores me and gives a half assed attitude filled response. Has me sign the iPad and slides the new phone over saying "Have a nice day". 7 HOURS with no communication, no customer service and bad attitudes. I hope they all lose their damn jobs. read more

I visited this Apple Store location twice this week and had a super easy, in-and-out experience both times. On my first visit, I was picking up a refurbished iMac and adaptor cables that I had purchased online. (I can't have packages shipped to my home address, so free shipping to and pickup at the store was a relief.) When I arrived for the pickup after work, the store was packed, but I was instantly greeted by an employee who scanned my order QR code and directed me to stand by a nearby table. Within a minute, another employee came out with everything in my order, asked if I had questions or needed help, and even offered to carry everything out to my car for me. Quick, easy, friendly! The next day, I came in to drop off my old machine for recycling. This is a great, environmentally friendly option for old, unsupported machines that no longer have monetary value. I had already gone through all the steps to securely wipe the computer, so literally all I had to do was sign a release that I was surrendering the machine. In both visits, the store was packed, but I was instantly greeted and back out the door in minutes. It's also a relief knowing that if I had run into trouble with migrating my stuff to the new computer or wiping the old computer, there was a nearby store filled with knowledgeable and friendly Apple employees who could've helped me out. The service really is what differentiates Apple from other brands out there. read more

Worst experience. Geniuses? I think not. Condescending? Yes. Absolutely no help at all. Claimed he couldn't do anything because my mother didn't have "proof of purchase" for her 5 year-old iPhone 8. She was told by phone tech support that she could have her problem solved in-person at an Apple store, never mentioned she would need "proof of purchase." He was not willing to investigate further or ask anyone else for advice. Just walked away. Just admit it, dude. You had no idea how to help and couldn't be bothered to ask anyone else. Super unprofessional. read more

I had no idea this store had so many bad reviews. Then I am not surprised to have had such a terrible service myself. I should have come here your comments before going there. Like many of you I went to this store because I had an issue with my phone. Despite my previous appointments, all good, this one was the worst. I was "helped" by Cristina. I am not going to be talking how useless she was as a "technician" but to talk about how unprofessionally she treated me. 1. UNSYMPATHETIC: despite my phone being brand new not one word about how sorry she was for the issue I was dealing with, and she would do anything to help me in positively resolving the issue. 2. DEFENSIVE: The very first thing she said was that Apple iPhones are NOT WATERPROOF but "WATER RESISTANT". She was unable to say why my phone was perfectly functioning, despite a few droplets of condensation on the camera lenses, but very eager to say that the whole phone was "beyond repair". 3. UNHELPFUL: a) At my request to have my phone repaired with my own money, she refused to assist me with that too. Stating again that the phone was beyond repair. b) At no time she offered to have a technician to look at the phone to verify if the phone was truly beyond repair. 4. GREEDY: The only solution she offered was having me spending additional $500+ to get a new one. 5. DISRESPECTFUL: On my way out of the store I saw her laughing about the whole incident. Obviously, she felt like she had won the argument. 6. UNSAFE: While I was arguing with her another all gym buffed up employee came over and standing really close to me making me feel unsafe and threatened by his presence during the whole process. Again, this complaint is partially about the issue I had with the phone, but as many other people wrote, especially about the way I was treated as a customer. Laughed at, disrespected and threatened. Is this the image Apple wants to stand by? read more

Do yourself a favor if you make any agreement with customer service to be honored by this Apple store forget it ! You have a defective phone still under Apple warranty they will not exchange that phone even if you're sent there by customer service for that exchange , on top of that the so called technician tests the phone with a SIM card from another phone the phone still would not function ,and then uses the excuse that the SIM card he installed!! Was from another carrier ! So basically you have a bunch of incompetent workers who don't know what they're doing ,and breach the 1 year warranty agreement at a whim only alternative now is small claims court to recover my money read more

Dreading all night and morning having to go in here. What a pleasant surprise. Efficient system. Don, the glorious greeter and sales associate, filled me in on all I needed to know regarding purchasing a phone vs repair of my current phone. Jordan, tech guru with an infectious smile, was so incredibly helpful and patient with me. He kindly instructed me on what needed to be done on my end. Yes, they were busy, and there was a wait but as above their system seems to keep things moving efficiently. So nice to have an Apple store east of the river now!! read more
