This place rocks! been here before but this morning I brought in my 4 D battery Mag-Lite as I needed a bulb. I "thought" I broke the bulb trying to remove it last night and couldn't get the base out. A very nice employee and the Manager went to work and there was a spare bulb in the base and I had in fact taken out the old one properly. He plugged in my spare...and VOILA!! This business is a TOTAL rip-off!!! I went in to have the battery on my keyfob for my car tested. The guy took out the battery and put it on the tester. He tried to cover the screen, but I could completely see it read 2.9. The guy told me I "desperately " needed a new battery because the one I had was almost dead. He took a battery out of the blister pack ( just like the one you buy at the dollar store). It was a generic brand, not Duracell or any other name brand. He charged me $12.75. When I got home, my husband called his friend, who is an auto mechanic, and asked him what number would have shown up on the screen if the battery was " almost dead". He said the battery is at a 3.0 when brand new, so a 2.9 is definitely not " almost dead" but is actually almost new. My husband went back in and asked the same sales guy why he sold me a battery when my battery was fine. He stammered a bit and apologized. My husband asked to speak to a manager. He repeated the story to him. He shook his head and handed him $13.00 and walked away. STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

When my iPhone suddenly stopped charging, I was convinced I was gonna have to bite the bullet & drop a grand on a new one. I decided to bring my iPhone here as a last ditch effort. I walked in and was met by a friendly worker. He asked how he could help me and I explained the problem. He took my phone, shined a flashlight in the charging port and grabbed a pair of needle-nose tweezers. Within a minute, he began pulling crap out that had apparently been packed in there. He blew some compressed air in, plugged my phone into their charger & said "you're all set!" That was it, no cost or anything. Just spectacular customer service! I highly recommend this place and will definitely return again simply based off of today's visit. read more

1.21 gigawatts. bob, the owner of this place was great on the phone, set the wheels in motion, had my product charging for ***MAXIMUM POWER!!!***. once i got there, josh took excellent care for my battery needs. When I arrived, I was told that repairing my iPhone screen would take about an hour. I'd seen online sources that said it should take 30-45 minutes. When I came back in an hour, they said it would be another half-hour. So I left again. Then, upon my return, I was told that it still wasn't ready. They told me they were wrapping it up, and that I should wait. It wound up being a two hour process. Extremely disappointing. I won't be returning. read more

Brought my phone in because my charger wasn't fitting in the port. I thought I would need to have it replaced. The guy took it in the back and realized it was something stuck in there. My watch battery died. Dang! And I had it replaced less than a year ago by some dude at the Buckland Hills Mall. And it was about $20 (or something equally ridiculous). There's got to be some place else in the area to go get a watch battery. I ask friends, neighbors, strangers, and they all tell me the only place they know of the dude at the Mall. Double dog dang! But wait! There is a new business in town, close to the mall, right off I-84. Batteries Plus! Plus what? Well, at this store it's bulbs, as in light bulbs. I walked in and within 3 minutes I had a new watch battery for around 8 clams. And it's not just watch batteries. Whatever you have that takes a battery, they can provide you with the juice. And if you want to see what you are powering, they can providing you with the bulb. Knowledgeable, convenient, fast, affordable... AWESOME! read more

These guys were great. I drive a 2013 Chevy Spark, which apparently requires a very specific battery. I called about 15 places trying to find one in stock, no such luck. These guys asked me to come down and see what the car needed because there were potentially two options. I drove down, and it didn't look good. One, my car died in their parking lot, and after a jump I was going to order the batter for less from somewhere else. I was sitting in my car and one of the guys came outside and said they might have something! One free install later, and I was a happy customer! Between the places I called the battery could cost anywhere between $102-$180. I paid $107, they installed it, and took the time to put up with me! So thankful, and very pleased with the service. Stop by on 5/10/2018 to have my cracked screen repaired on my IPhone 6S Plus. Thought they were a little pricey at $160 but I needed it for business and they said they could do it in 1/2 hour. They did it as promised but the only problem is, I discovered when I got home in another State that my camera was not working. I brought it to a local tech guy near my home. He looked at it and said the problem was whoever repaired the screen did not connect the camera back up. They also do not install the gasket that goes around the frame of the phone. So, that cost me another $25 and my gas and time to go to another place to get it fixed. read more

Called up the store to see if they had a battery for my hotspot before wasting my time and gas. Spoke to a lady that told me they had it in stock. I got there and after 3 employees looked it up told me it was not in stock and they could see if they could order it. They are incompetent assholes trying to lure you in the store in hopes you will buy something. It was made clear I needed the battery the same day. I was surprised that a store could keep itself afloat selling just batteries, but when I needed an oddly-sized battery for a pH meter, I was grateful it was there. The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. If you have an electronic or keepsake that may require a special battery, it's worth stopping by. read more

The 'home' button on my Iphone 5 stopped working on veterans day. After MANY dead end phone calls/online searches this place was not only the only one open, that did repairs on site (other places were either closed, nonexistent, never called back, offered to send phone out for '10 business days' for repair (yes computers northampton) , offer to let me use my 'upgrade to get new phone but no repairs (verizon).Since I need my phone daily, it was well worth the drive from Northampton MA to Manchester, CT - Ryan, Bryan, and also Manny in the store were friendly, gave me directions, and best of all, FIXED HOME BUTTON IN TWO MINUTES SIMPLY BY OPENING THE CASE AND SECURING THE CONNECTION FOR NO CHARGE! My daughters iPad mini had a cracked screen among other issues. Google search, phone call, visit on a Sunday with associate Max. He could not have been more informative or friendly. Picked it back up Tuesday in perfect working order. $130 minus $15 online coupon net $115. Picked up some 60 watt lcd bulbs $2 after rebate while I was there. Highly recommend. read more
