I found Hank through iCracked and he came to our house the other evening to replace batteries on our iPhones. He was very responsive when setting up the appointment. He was also very good regarding communications prior to his arrival. Hank was professional and very skilled regarding the repairs. He had the old batteries out and the new batteries in like it was nothing. He also give the phones a good cleaning and a once over. In addition, he sat with my wife and I to go over a number of settings that would help preserve battery life and protect privacy. That was a really nice touch. Furthermore, he offered to answer any questions we may have on the phones going forward. He also left us with his business cards. I really recommend working with Hank! With the work he did, we'll easily get another year out of our iPhones. He has his own business in addition to the work he does with iCracked. He runs iDevice Repair out of Seymour, CT. read more

From the minute I contacted Ngawang he was extremely prompt and professional. His service was provided in the comfort of my home. I did not need to waste gas driving to the mall, leaving my iPhone for five days wth some of the dealers, or worry about waiting in line. He arrived at exactly the time that we set He was extremely friendly and proficient in his work. I did have the option of him coming to my home or meeting him at a central location like a McDonald's or Dunkin donuts. I chose the home because it was much easier for me. What a difference his service is over the service you get in the local malls. He explained every step of replacing my cracked iPhone. He double checked the entire phone after he was finished with the glass replacement to be certain everything was working perfectly. I highly recommend Ngawang and his service for any of your phone or computer repairs. Don't hesitate to call him for the best service you will ever find. Thanks again, Christie from Watertown read more

Horeb in New Haven is a straight up boss. Called him at 11 PM EST, arranged to meet at 8 AM the next day, and he was done by 8:30. He was fast, efficient, and friendly. The phone screen looks like new. If you're in New Haven, ask for Horeb!!!! Also, side note about the payment: You get a $10 discount if you show a student ID. read more

What a savior!!! Dropped my phone and it was beyond shattered--shards of glass were falling out. I started the request on Saturday night around 10pm. Icracked techs are very flexible!! Martin came out to my house on a Sunday! He was in and out within 30-40 minutes. My tech accepted cash or credit. One less thing for me to worry about... read more

I had a cracked screen on my iphone and found iCracked through yelp with just one review in Hartford. I desperately needed the phone urgently as I had some very important tasks to take care of. I was new to the city and didn't have a car to go around. Without a phone I was pretty much crippled. I called them up and Tom helped me fix it immediately. He drove from his place and we met at a common location so that I didn't have to travel much. All this was done at 10:30 pm in the night. I would highly recommend Tom. If you are in Hartford and need to get your phone repaired, then don't hesitate to contact them. I would highly recommend them. read more

Ngawang was Awesome! I had a broken screen on my iPhone 6+ and he was at my house in less than 2 hours. And charged less than if i brought it to Verizon. Horeb is incredible. My phone dropped right on its face and the whole screen shattered. I found Horeb here on yelp and asked for a repair. He contacted me within 10 mins and we set up an appointment for one hour later. He met me at my work and took apart/put back together the whole thing in less than 30 minutes. My phone works great again and I'm typing up this review on my fixed phone. Thanks Horeb. read more

My iphone 4 screen completely cracked this morning after I dropped it :( I needed it fixed quick so I contacted Hank from the iphone repair company. He was AWESOME. He met me soon after we spoke and he fixed my iphone in about 40 minutes. My phone came back to me looking better than new with a screen protector, new black sleek, durable case and stylus. This service was awesome and highly recommend them to anyone who needs their iphone fixed quickly by a professional service. Thanks for fixing my phone! :) read more

I cracked my phone screen and couldn't get a timely appointment at the local Apple store. A colleague referred me to this service saying he and another colleague had had success with them in the past, and told me that the service technician comes to you which is very attractive vs. having to drive to the mall and deal with that unique hell. My technician, Dan, arrived on time and greeted me with a smile and a warm handshake as he set out to explain the procedure and performed the diagnostics. Once I signed the estimate, he went at it. It was, at times, gut wrenching to watch the process ( like a sausage being made) however, the phone appears to be working quite well with the new screen. Dan even attached safety glass to the new screen to make it more durable, for free. He also made sure that I had his personal card should I have any issues in the future. All in all I am very satisfied, so far. read more

I called these guys over to see and fix my phone. In an hour they were at my home. They were courteous and mannerly. My phone was fixed within the hour. This to me is a great way for iPhone user to get a new screen without going through insurance. My phone works great and perfectly. Highly recommended. read more

I had my screen repaired by an iCracked technician and it was a great experience. He came to my work so I didn't have to leave, fixed it in about 30 minutes, and was courteous and prompt. All of my coworkers were all about getting his card since they all had devices that needed repair. I am sure he will be back. A+, great experience, and totally worth the extra few dollars for them to come to you. read more

Great customer service and Patrick was especially helpful. Could not recommend a better service. I previously tried to replace my own cracked glass from parts purchased on amazon and then called icracked when that part fell apart. Should have used them from the beginning read more

Phenomenal service. He had an opening earlier in the day and ended up meeting me at a convenient location. He's one of the nicest individuals that I have the pleasure of meeting and chatted with me throughout along with explaining what he was doing to a curious student. I not only enjoyed my service, but I also loved getting to know a great individual. I will certainly be in touch if I ever need his help and will recommend him to friends. read more

I called to get a quote on an iPad screen replacement. Knowing that most aftermarket screens will break the lock and unlock feature on any Smart Cover I called customer service to find out if the screens used by Icracked leave this functionality intact and not only did the customer service rep have no idea what I was asking but he had no idea how an iPad works and was extremely rude while failing to communicate anything effectively. Based on this conversation I would not trust this company to clean the screen on my iPad let alone replace it. read more

Chris texted back within minutes of my checking in at the iCracked Web site. He came right to the house at a time I requested, did the surgery for my daughter's cracked iPhone screen while surrounded by (and answering questions from) my kids. We all watched. Whole thing was easy, professional, fun, and inexpensive. Absolutely the greatest! read more

My daughter and I 'had' a good experience with joe....at first. My iPad is fine. But her iPhone screen stopped working 1week later. We tried to contact joe several times and heard nothing. She contact Icracked via phone and we have an email with the warranty approval. It has been a week and a half of her calling everyday and still no one has contacted her. She uses her phone for her business and now has lost business. She has sent pictures of her phone and has every email confirming that she has done everything that she is suppose to do. Be careful dealing with Icracked. Now it looks like she will have to take this issue to social media to warn people about this so called service. Update - so not sure what you do Evan but still no word on getting the phone fixed. Icrack has a big crack in their customer service. We will take this issue to a higher level. Will be happy to adjust this post if only someone would take care of the warranty issue. My daughter and I have tried to be fair and are willing to work with you to get this fixed but no one will help. read more

Horeb was great. I called on Tuesday, he ordered my part and it was in within a day, offered to meet me at work at my downtown New Haven office. He ended up meeting my husband instead (Thursday) to fix my cracked screen because I was out of the office. The service was punctual, efficient, knowledgeable and fast. He communicated with me along the way to make sure the meet up place/time worked out and my phone looks great. I even got recommendations on a quality case for further protection. Highly recommended to anyone who needs this service. Costed less than an insurance deductible easily. Totally happy with the experience! read more

If I had the misfortune of having a cracked screen again I wouldn't hesitate in calling Horeb. He is professional and friendly. The service he provides is particularly convenient seeing as though he travels to wherever you are at. He charged us 80 (+tax) which was pretty reasonable. He even offered to take his shoes off at the door. read more

After a year and a half of good fortune, this morning I cracked the screen on my iPhone 5. It can happen. Subsequently wasted 20 minutes of my life, on the phone with the New Haven Apple store, trying to get them to tell me how much, and how soon. (Ultimately the answer was an appointment with the Genius Bar, and then and only then could they tell me!) The booth at the Milford Mall wanted $100, so instead I payed iCracked $115 to come to me. Anyway, their guy Horeb was most excellent. On time, polite, helpful. Even got this done on the Labor Day holiday. Still too much money, (ergo 4 not 5 stars, but hey, my misfortune is now behind me.) If you're in the New Haven, don't hesitate to trust Horeb. Rock solid in what he does. read more

Horeb did a great job! After dropping my iphone & smashing the screen I got appt 3 hrs after I called. We met at a convenient Starbucks, had coffee & done in 20 min. Good as new -w/ warranty too. $115 fee, but worth it. read more

This is a truly fantastic service. I called Friday afternoon and got an appointment Saturday morning. The repair took less than an hour, and my hopelessly shattered iphone looked like new. No hassle, reasonable pricing. I would recommend 100%. read more

Firstly, I can't even begin to describe the sheer convenience of this service; particularly RAHUL! Not only did I have the most archaic computer that was basically as useful as a rock with a keyboard, but my cell phone screen was destroyed beyond recognition. Ready for the kicker, I didn't even have to bother with going to the store location because Rahul personally picked up the devices at my house and returned them good as new! He is a technology wizard, professional beyond belief, and as far as I'm concerned Rahul's your man if you need anything done!!!!! read more

I cracked my iPhone's original screen and needed a fast fix since apple was booked...looked into this service online nd called. Came to my home fixed the screen after several attempts finally got it right charged $129 ( which apple charges ) after a day I started noticing that the screens touch function wasn't the same as the original for example when i tap the screen once it double taps which gets really annoying after a while when u have to re open screens that disappear becoz of the double tap glitch...I called to get it fixed but Hank denied it nd said no warranty ( which even apple gives a 30 days warranty) plus icracks policy says they give warranties but this guy claims he doesn't work with them when he clearly advertises that he does...also the finger sensor doesn't work anymore ...WORST service ever would not recommend it to anyone unless you like throwing away $120 read more

I'm not sure what happened with Rakete's experience, but I could not be happier! Cracked screen with the button falling out to a repaired, like-new product... After many attempts to get my IPhone 6s cracked screen repaired I have finally given up. Had a service person come to the house who seemed like he was actually going to fix it. The screen he brought turned out to be defective and he assured me he would get a working one and get back to me. After repeated attempts to reach him on his private text without getting any response I asked directly in a text if he could at least let me know he was no longer going to be able to help me out. Still received no response I found this not only frustrating but rude. Not sure why they can't deliver what they advertise. read more

I worked with Joseph, who assures me that my experience is not indicative of his typical work. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but still feel that I should leave my comments to help folks make a choice on whether they should use this service. I had continued problems throughout the transaction with a lack of communication and responsiveness. This began with my initial pickup. When Joseph was already 30 minutes late, I contacted him and learned he would not be available during my window of availability. We rescheduled for the next day and again my tech was late, not contacting me until he was already supposed to be here for pickup. On the day when I was scheduled to receive my repaired iPad, I contacted the tech at the time we agreed he would arrive at my home for drop-off and learned that he had car trouble and would contact me when he was able to return to his shop and 'check on the repair'. I did not receive any more contact that day, despite an additional text requesting an estimate on drop off time. I texted again in the evening and in the morning and did not receive response until nearly two hours had elapsed. The response I got was that screen wasn't right and he needed to order a replacement. I began to communicate my need for proactive communication and disappointment with the service and communication when my iPad was two days beyond its stated return date. I elaborated to Joseph about my need for proactive communication and gave specific examples of the communication I expected. I also experienced almost constant arrival outside of my communicated window of availability, for example arriving 45 minutes late to deliver the repaired screen which does not lie flat around the home button. I have no desire to repeat service with this company and am frankly sad to have paid for this service. I should have attempted the repair on my own. I understand that in customer service there are those transactions where absolutely everything goes wrong and this could have been one of them, but I would NOT repeat this experience again and would also strongly dissuade my friends and colleagues from doing the same. I would not characterize the work as high quality and all of the service and communication around the work was wrong. This could have been a great opportunity to save customer experience with service, but this fell short of the mark. read more

I have an iPhone 5. I've had it for 2 years and the battery had started to drain abnormally fast. For a mere $15 I met a trained professional at a local coffee place and had it replaced. I called icracked and heard back almost immediately from Ngawang. I had a cracked iPad screen. He was extremely professional, courteous, fast and efficient. He communicated with me clearly and I was so happy to have chosen him. The price was higher than the mall kiosk, but I felt my IPad was in very capable hands Not only did he explain everything to me about what he was going to do but also explained options if I were interested in an additional warranty that automatically comes with his work. He was clearly very skilled and sensitive to my scheduling needs. He came to my home to pick up and bring back upon completion. There is a six hour drying period so you need to leave it overnight. I have his cell, phone number and was encouraged to contact him with any problems, questions or concerns. Thank you Ngawang! An AWESOME experience. read more

I contacted all of the listed iCracked repairers in CT, and none emailed or called back.

My manfriend's daughter's cat thought it would be funny to watch her iPhone 5c go crashing to the floor. It was a brand new phone and the screen shattered. She used it with a cracked screen for about 1 month and I was worried about her cutting her hand so we Googled "iPhone screen repaid" and iCracked popped up. I got a quote online and Joseph reached out to me via text message right away. We arranged a time to meet the next day at a local coffee shop and he repaired her phone in 20 mins. You could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. He had no problems replacing the cracked screen with a new one and the new screen even came w a tempered glass screen protector and warranty. I would highly recommend this service if you need your phone screen replaced. read more
