Great customer service in-store…read more But...... Ordering online is a different story Be careful with ordering online, and inspect your purchase promptly and thoroughly to assure that all items are in the package that are supposed to be included Three times now I have ordered product that has been tampered with; broken into; changed out; or missing pieces due to the package being resealed These problems got to be where I finally just closed my account, vowing never to purchase from them again When I closed my account and explained why, never once did the customer customer service representative online try to save the account Now I know why Best Buy is in trouble

I originally went to the Verizon store in Avon, CT because my watch wasn't syncing with my phone…read more Ryan took the time to help troubleshoot the issue and also let me know about some great promotions that were available. I ended up leaving with a new phone and a new watch--and it worked out perfectly because my daughter is now happily using my old watch! A few weeks later, when my bill arrived, it was quite a bit higher than I expected. I'll admit, I was worried that some of the promotions I had been promised hadn't been applied correctly. I called Ryan, and just as he said he would, he walked me through the bill line by line, explained everything clearly, and even adjusted the promotion to make sure the pricing matched what he had originally quoted. In a time when upselling and empty promises can make customers skeptical, Ryan did exactly what he said he would do. That level of honesty, follow-through, and customer service is rare and truly appreciated. I've been back to this Verizon location twice since returning to Verizon, and every experience has been positive. The entire team has been great, but Ryan definitely set a high bar. Thank you, Ryan, and thank you to the Verizon Avon, CT team for providing such excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

This store is always very knowledgeable of policies, plans and equipment. I switch in this store…read more4+ years ago and always go back if I need help. I've added lines and a tablet. My only complaint cannot be attributed to the store. Not sure if it's a Samsung or ATT update problem with a tablet that won't stream video on data. The one star comments below show the customer doesn't always know the rules/policy, they apply with any carrier. Prepaid plan balance cannot be transferred to a new account. The current minimum data plan available is 1 gig on any new Account, pre or post paid. The return period is 14 days. Any defective merchandise is covered by a manufacturer warranty, not ATT.

I contacted AT&T on December 27th due to a problem that we were having with our service. After…read moretalking to the customer service representative, it was determined that we needed an updated box since we have had the same receiver box since 2010. An appointment was set up for Monday December 31st. We received a phone call on Sunday night stating that the appointment would have to be cancelled as the technician did not have a receiver box (which I believe is necessary for any Direct TV customer) and the earliest they could come was Thursday, Jan. 3rd. We continued to have problems with the sound on our receiver (which was the original problem that caused us to purchase a new television) We contacted customer service again and the earliest appointment we can get is Monday January 7th. After spending over 300 dollars for a new television and missing work as they did not call until the night before to cancel we are told that we will have to wait a week and a half to resolve this problem. I feel that it is poor customer service as we called on December 27th and they set us up as a priority and got an appointment within 2 days and then appointment cancelled the night before. We missed work and when calling customer service stating that they could not help us even though the equipment that they supposedly was out of was a common piece of equipment that any customer needs. After being a customer for over 20 years I feel that is is a disgrace as to how they treat their long standing customers
