The home button on my iPhone shattered from a fall. Mobile Rescue was able to replace the home button for $60. The problem is that the TouchID capability is now lost because apparently that's what happens once the home button is broken and replaced. The other option was to go through Apple to replace the home button for $150 but the TouchID would be functional. I wasn't informed of this until I got home, realized the TouchID wasn't working and called Mobile Rescue to ask about it. It would have been great to know this during our first call. In fact, I asked if he happened to know how much Apple charges to replace the home button and the person said "I'm not sure" (I worked with the same person from beginning to end). If I knew that these were my options ($60 - No TouchID vs $150 + TouchID), I would have chosen to pay more to have a fully functional phone. I was offered to get $30 refunded BUT I would have to bring the phone back in so that they can take the home button back. No comment. Also, even after fixing it, the home button is not what it was before. I sometimes have to press down on it twice for it to work. Mobile Rescue explained that the fall could have caused that and that they could fix it for another $60. No thanks. read more

Needed my phone speaker repaired. My first warning should have been that the sign said they accepted all cards but gentleman said his machine was down and could only take cash. No trace so I had no leg to stand on if it went south. After experiencing the same issue after he supposedly fixed it, I reached out to customer chat. They must all be on the same scam. Not offering me a refund, just telling me to call the office the next day and speak to the same guy. When I called the following day, he said, "well you said it was better." Like why would I be making this up? I'm not deaf.. my speaker needed REPLACEMENT, not just jiggled around. And do I have a leg to stand on? Nope because the machine to accept credit cards is down. $80.00 down the drain. Who knows what info he could obtain from my phone. read more

The guys have no idea what they're doing. They make promises they can't keep, they try their best and they hope everything goes good. In my case not only it didn't go good but they went a step further and made it even worse by damaging my phone and lying to my face. I'm not gonna list my whole story but they got my phone for a simple repair and one week later I had to pick it up all taken apart because it was still not fixed and they damaged it even further. When I asked for an explanation the only thing they kept saying was that I was wrong, the phone was not broken. I'm not sure if every location operates following these guidelines but before bringing your precious device to these guys ask yourself how much you really care about it. Because when I got in touch with the Facebook representative they defended their guys. So... You know... It's your money. read more

I wish there was a way to do negative stars on the reviews here at yelp. DONT WALK RUN FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!! On Tuesday 1/22 I went in looking to have the charge port replaced on my LGV 20. I was told the part would have to be ordered 7-10 business days for the part to come in and then once the part came in the phone would have to be sent out again for the soldering to be done. I was quoted a price of $90.00, of which I would need to leave a deposit of half. I had no issue leaving the deposit but they started asking weird questions, like the password to my phone. Then when I was given my receipt for the deposit I was charged sales tax, why would I need to pay sales tax on a deposit? 7 business days heard nothing, 10 business days I called supposedly was on back order because so many people were looking for them. I searched on amazon and not only were they available but they were only $8.00. On Monday 2/11 I went over to the location looking for my money back because I had found another location to have the work done. How ironic the day I go to get my money back the part just so happen to have come in. At this point I was NOT taking the chance of having them touch my phone, let alone have it shipped out to be fixed. Never once I was I offered a refund for just the part, so I paid $ 45.00 for an $8.00 part. I took the part and left to have someone else do the soldering. I brought it to a different place which lead to final straw, the part I waited 21 days to come in DID NOT WORK!!!!! After leaving the phone with the new shop they were able to figure out the part was wrong, the metal tabs were to long so when the part was put into place and powered on it ended up shorting out my motherboard chip. I went with someone else who has gone over & above because they felt bad that I had been taken so advantage of by this location. The screen on my iPhone 6s Plus cracked really bad, so I went here after a bad experience with trying to get through to Best Buy for an appointment. When I called, they said they could get my screen repaired within a half an hour to hour. I went down that evening and had my screen repaired within 15-20 minutes! I was ok and out super quickly, which is essential these days with our busy lives! read more

Took advantage of my Luddite father who brought his desktop CPU in for repair. Kept it for 4 weeks and only recovered a small portion of his documents instead of all items on his hard drive. They should've told him that they only did mobile devices! read more

Very sketchy experience. I called ahead, being I live 40 min away.I was quoted a price to replace front and back screens of my cracked .The plan was to replace front and back of shattered glass( iPhone X)He told me would take an hour and also requested I pay CASH. After an hour I came back and he asked for 20 more minutes. Finally when I came back again he told me the front camera was fuzzy, was clear before the service... also noticed that the back shattered glass was not replaced. When I questioned it he told me he had no time to replace the back. Then he totally denied the quote he gave me on the phone. Felt totally scammed. worst service ever. read more

Be aware that this place does not use certified Apple OEM parts although the website says they do. They are not Apple certified according to the person that works there. They use cheap parts and do shoddy work.. Customer service was pretty horrendous.. Here's my full story.. Recently brought my son's iPad there to be fixed as the screen was cracked. Said it would be fixed in 24-72 hours. After several days they said they were still waiting on the part. This would have been nice to know when we dropped it off and they gave us the estimate on when it would be done but that is not how this place works. After about 10 days we got the iPad and the screen had some bubbles under it and obviously not an OEM part as the screen was thicker and raised up so home button was hard to press. My wife asked for the bubbles to be fixed so they took it back and attempted a fix again. We were told at this time that they can not obtain OEM parts despite the fact that the website says they use authentic parts and are apple certified. So we had 2 options.. Live with depressed home button or replace with a thicker home button that didn't have Touch ID (which would cost more). After about 10 more days (and several calls) we called again as we were still waiting and it appeared they still had not done the work. I got frustrated and said I just wanted my money back but they said we'd have to pay labor. I told them fine and I'd come pick it up now.. Guy said it was all apart and they'd have to put it back together before they could give it back to us and I could get my refund. Waited 2 more days and they called back and said we could pick it up. I went to pick it up and they had put another screen on it. This time it looked a little better.. still some dust under the screen and still the hard to press home button but I decided I'd accept it rather than getting the refund. Couple days later the the screen starts coming off.. probably because it was not the right part. Went back and asked for refund.. Manager said he'd talk to owner and was on phone for a couple minutes and was saying how I was complaining they didn't use authentic parts. He then said best he could do was glue it on again and wouldn't offer me refund. He also said this is pretty normal for fixed iPads I I should have bought an Otter box case to hold it together. Forgot to mention that when we asked for a discount because it was taking so long and they used shoddy parts they offered my 11 year old $10 in cash back.. only if he wrote a 5 star review. I dropped my phone and the screen had shattered. Apple and Best Buy charge $150 to repair a screen. Mobile Rescue's price was much lower than that. I paid less than $150 for them to replace the screen, add on a screen protector and a protective case. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Had my kids with me and they were able to watch cartoons on the TV there. I would recommend! read more

I brought my phone to them for screen replacement. I supplied the digitizer. They broke the volume/power cable and didn't tell me. After several calls with no answer or call back I had to go there twice because store was closed first time. 4 weeks have since passed. I was told they broke the phone and couldn't get the part. I went home and found it online in 5 minutes and it was delivered in 10 days. I brought it to them. They said they would not only pay for the part but also give me money back on the price of their service. Another 2 weeks went by before it was ready. Again I had to call to check on it. They never once called me! I picked it up but no refund for part, nor money off on the initial repair charge and no return of the tools for glass replacement. Since then the phone has extremely limited bluetooth range and terrible service, often disconnecting and not getting service back for some time. They were not helpful at all. I have had to pursue getting it repaired from the manufacturer and this will be going to small claims and a complaint with Dept. of Consumer Protection. read more

I asked them to take a stuck SIM card out of my phone. When I got the phone back, it was days, it was damaged beyond repair. They got the old SIM out, but a new SIM could not be installed. I overheard the owner tell the staff "well he asked us to remove it, we did" and to charge me. The Phone was useless, I had to get buy new one. If you need anything more than a screen protector or a case, avoid. read more

Hi, about a month ago I came in to fix my Iphone 6 because it said "No Service" at the top left corner. Gerard the worker, fixed the antenna and lcd screen. He then, said to take it to At&t to activate it. But it still didnt work even after. We then, went to Apple to see the problem and they said I would have to get a new phone. Yesterday we returned and Gerard gave us a great deal. He had a used working Iphone 6 for me to switch out for my phone. He was extrermely efficient and so nice. Plus, in the process of transferring data over took hours, and he offered to drop off my phone at our mailbox for us, because we had been driving around. Overall, great service and highly recommend Mobile Rescue. Very pleasant experience. read more

I took my iPad Air 2 to have the battery replaced. I asked if I needed to back up my iPad and they said no so I didn't. They had my iPad for 8 days after them keep telling me that it would be ready the next day for 4 straight days. They changed my battery and they told me that it went into a boot loop and they were trying to fix it. After 4 days of them trying to fix it I told them to put my old battery back in and I was coming to pick it up. I picked it up and they refunded me but now I have a very expensive paper weight. They called me back after my last review and asked me to bring it back in to try and retrieve my info. They asked me to remove my bad review and they would try to retrieve my info for me. They tried to tell me that they were having issues with my type of iPad when putting in new batteries because the ipad doesn't recognize the new battery. If that were true then my biped should work with the old battery and it doesn't, so now it's useless! After they called me again, I said I would remove the review after they fix my iPad. read more

This was my second time at Mobile rescue and the service was fantastic both times!!!! The LCD screen on my iPhone 6plus was broken and I couldn't turn on my phone. Had my son's Moto Z screen replaced they were quick and reasonable in price for a newer phone. Very happy with them.
