I called Verizon Sales to sign up for cell service only to find out I needed access to two phones to add the e-Sim. I called my other carrier to get the 6-digit pin and they assured me they wouldn't turn off my service until the following Monday. They turned it off Friday evening! I had no cell service or GPS when I went to work Saturday morning and I was stressed out. I went to this store and Thomas G. helped me. He was professional, knowledgeable, polite and amiable. In a short time, I was connected to my new Verizion service. He explained a couple things I needed to do by downloading the MyVerizion app, which I did. Thanks to Tom's excellent customer service, my anxiety dissolved and I walked out of the store being able to use all my cell features. Plus, I will save $15 per month by connecting my Frontier Internet service to my cell plan. Tom was a breath of fresh air! I hope Verizon values this employee to the fullest. read more

Probably the worst Verizon experience I have ever had. Went into store to transfer my phone to my husband's account. Got told we had to do it online and via phone but they couldn't do it for us. We did it in store on our cell phones and got message that it was transferred over.My husband upgraded for a new iPhone, upgraded his phone and got charged twice for two different phones, both phones shipped to our house. You would think that our problems ended there? NOPE, received a bill today, somehow I now have my own account separate from my husbands, after receiving notice that it was all set and transferred, been on the phone with support for more than an hour, and they can't give me any answers besides that I can transfer my account in the beginning of January??? How does that make any sense??? With all the issues, I will never go to this Verizon again. read more

This is a well-deserved, hard earned one star review. I, thankfully, switched to AT&T long ago, but my dad is still a customer. So is his business. While I generally have no reason to step foot into this store, my dad hates the cell phone experience so I do sometimes help him with upgrades and changes to his accounts. The people that work in this store work on commission, and it shows. Over a year ago, he went in to add a line for his company. During that visit, for which I was not present, he was given a "promotional business account" that converted his account (with three existing lines) into a small business account. Promised the bill would remain the same, it did not. He called, got it down a little, cut his losses, and that was that. Fast forward to this past weekend, we went in for a very simple iPhone upgrade. We prepared him to lose the home button on his 7 Plus in preparation for his XS, but did not prepare him (or ourselves) for 3+ hours of phone calls to Verizon corporate, three separate trips to the Apple store, three trips to this particular Verizon store, and, in the end, NO PHONE. I can't even go on about the whole series of events that followed. It's too infuriating and would take far too long to type. Long story short, the "account conversion" by the talented folks at this store added two ghost lines on my dad's account, enabling him to qualify for the 5 line minimum. He was paying for these, each and every month, for over a year. He had no idea they were there. After converting his account back to personal and getting a credit from the ghost lines, we once again went to Apple. Still couldn't upgrade. Accounts were flagged. Back to Verizon, it turns out they misinformed us. The employees there had the nerve to tell how we really should have a small business account and all we would have to do is add another line to each dual SIM iPhone on the account. They were literally tying to sell us on the same BS that started this in the first place. We left infuriated. Back to Apple and more phone calls with Verizon, we were assured everything was set for his upgrade. Nope. More flags, more calls, and this time Verzion had so many flags on all of the recent activity that they said they were going to suspend all service. If you can imagine three people (dad, brother, and myself) screaming at Verizon on the sidewalk outside the Apple Store...well that's exactly what happened. Epilogue: My dad's service was not suspended, but he is frozen for three months from making any changes or upgrades, all because of the crack team at this store. After all of this, my dad, king of routine, familiarity, and Mr. aversion to change, is taking all of his business to AT&T. Take this for what it's worth, but check your bill and avoid this store altogether. read more

Verizon of itself is great...however this store is on a level all its own. From rude employees, to employees not scanning in or activating devices, and letting you walk out with essentially a free device. When they make a mistake they insist you pay for their mistakes. But my favorite thing they do here is cut you on at every chance they get. I don't know that I've been able to finish a complete sentence here. Save yourself the trouble go to another location or do it over the phone. You'll be glad you did. read more

Going in to my 4th decade with Verizon! Ive been with Verizon (and the Bell Atlantic company they bought out) since 1997. In 23 years, things sure have changed, but this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. First guy I talked to couldn't get me out the door fast enough once he knew I wasn't there to buy a new phone. Cut me off. Wouldn't let me finish my sentences, talked over me, and had to get relieved by someone when I finally became annoyed. The idea that Verizon doesn't actually fix your phone, or look at your phone, test your phone, go in back and get you another phone to compare is all new to me. I get it. Things change. To rush me out the door and cut me off, and talk over me when I'm trying to understand how the warranties and deductable and 3rd party companies work is unacceptable. To treat a customer who has been with you since the 90s so poorly is disrespectful. read more

I have always received wonderful service at this Verizon location and today was no different. Dylan was wonderful....I let him know what I was looking for and he recommended 2 models. I made my choice and selected a case. They also put on a screen protector, transferred my contacts, and activated my phone. I was in and out within 30 minutes. This is a large store (not one of those satellite locations) and it can get quite packed, especially on the weekends. I try to avoid this place on the weekends since the parking lot can be quite the cluster. However, they always have plenty of staff on site to help you out. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, great location, and plenty of selections. The only place I go when I need a new device.... read more

I've been with Verizon since they were formerly Bell Atlantic back in the mid 90's and until this moment have enjoyed incredible customer service UNTIL I CAME HERE! What a disgrace to the Verizon brand. I had a problem with my smart phone and mistakenly thought I could get it taken care of here. WRONG! Admittedly, I did become frustrated with the initial customer service rep who for some reason could not address my needs..what I did not expect was his colleague "Frankie" to jump in and reprimand me for my tone of voice?!? To avoid an argument I asked to see a manager, Frankie told me it was useless to talk to a manager because I would only get the same service. If that weren't enough, Frankie continued his reprimand telling me he did not appreciate MY attitude and I could leave the store. At this time another customer in the store who overheard this exchange was also appalled by this outburst and stated "It's like United Airlines all over again"! In vain I tried to speak with the manager 'Chanel' who basically dismissed what had happened questioning my credibility as well as the other customer who backed up what had occurred. I wish there was an ability to give this place 0 stars.. so sad that one star will have to do. Yes, it was that bad and that humiliating to be treated that way..this is what it's coming to these days..so now you know. read more

After 15+ years on VZW's network, it pains me to have to rate them a 1 star. However, the debacle with data usage is driven me to this point. Armed with a printout from vzw.com of my data usage and a text message from #data showing what my verizon says my usage was, I called today to dispute yet another month of data overage. Mike Vanterpool, a tier 2 support rep, can only hope that he can do something. That is completely unacceptable. Proof from your only public effacing systems and multiple phone calls to your reps verifying my data usage should be enough for you to realize there is something wrong with your system and credit back the overbilling. But no, an hour and a half of calls this billing cycle dictates additional phone calls with the hope that "maybe" something can be done. But he's not sure. The way this is being handled with not customer service friendly and very frustrating. I have done everything I can to ensure I stay within my plan limits...there has got to be some liability on the part of VZW in this case. Update - From this post, Sandy S. reached out to me from Customer Service and I have to say, I am very impressed with her ability to handle the situation and once again make me feel like a valued customer. Mike, please take a page from Sandy's skill set. In the end, its less about the fee and more about the customer experience. And the only reason i am still accepting metered data a s a viable option is because of the customer service I receive from reps like Sandy. Must drop by to give some more love to my favorite Verizon store. Dropped in this evening, even though I forgot to check in, to upgrade my son's phone. Not only did my son leave very happy with his new iPhone, but Jarvis showed us a way where we didn't drop one thin dime on it! We traded in my old, defective phone, got a substantial credit and left thrilled. Therefore, I reiterate my first review. Do not go to this Verizon store. I tried to make an appointment via the My Verizon application and it would not make an appointment, I tried to call the store and only got automatically directed to an audio advertisement that terminated my phone call, I was never able to talk to a person by calling. When I got to the store (21AUG2015 13:03) I was told I would be next as there was no one in the queue ahead of me by Steve the greeter. After about 6 minutes a woman came in and was helped immediately by a staff member. Steve was less than helpful, maybe he would be better used helping people instead of rocking out to the loud music on the demo speakers and not keeping the queue order for customer service. The day prior I was at this same location for a separate issue, to resolve a hardware problem with a resolution of insurance/extended warranty replacement. Two times I clarified the correct address, of which the replacement was not sent to. read more

As of today I have a credit rating of 820. I am 65 years old and have always paid my bills on time. I am a sole proprietor, a one person business. I recently changed carriers and have been charged $375.20 early termination fees. This has come as a complete surprise. I had been a New England Telephone then Verizon customer for 40 years. I have been offered "loyalty" credits and "bundle promotions" many times but never once was I told that a bundle meant a contract. I have bills in hand stating loyalty credits and bundles, but no where does it state I have a contract. I have signed nothing agreeing to early termination fees. In speaking to Verizon representatives including Louis Roeder from their corporate offices, they state that they sent me an email after accepting their last bundle and also included a notice about early termination fees on the bottom of my first bill. These notices apparently came after signing up and at no time ever in the many years I've had promotional discounts did a representative ever tell me I was entering into a contract for which early termination fees would apply. Since my bills are generally the same each month, I admit that I do not always look each bill over closely. Why would I? If each bill is approximately the same, given how much information companies send us every day, it is not reasonable to think that people always read everything from cover to cover. It just doesn't happen. If I am under contract, is it not ethical for a company such as Verizon to perform due diligence in ensuring customers are aware of contracts and early termination fees? I assert that a notice added on to a regular bill at an indiscriminate time is not due diligence. Informing customers before they agree to these bundles (Verizon's asserts that a bundle is a contract) and having customers sign (even electronically) proves customers understand what is expected of them. read more

i have been going to this store for a long while. with my family account we bought at least 8 phones in the recent years at this place. i have never had a problem with my phones before and that is why i have never realized how terrible this store is. i bought an i phone recently and at the moment i opened the package i saw something wrong with the display, the guy name reid convinced me there is no problem with the phone because i guess he didn't want to replace the phone for some reason. but i didn't believe him and took the phone to original apple store, they confirmed that the screen display of the phone is defective.apple store said they could replace my screen which didn't make sense for me and for them to change the screen since i was in 14 day exchange period. i went back to the store with paper proof from apple store. he had to replace the phone. the guy asked me if it is ok to have the phone with a different color because they didn't have black at the moment.although i didn't want a different color i said ok because i couldn't wait i needed to go out of country. then the guy came back saying his manager says i have to pay 35 dollars because he didn't have the i phone that i bought in same color. how ridiculous is this? i was either gonna wait few days with no phone or pay 35 for a color that i don't even wanted. i think if you buy an apple product you should get it from the original store.same price..they have all the providers there. and no hassle when there is a problem with the phones.no unnecessary fees. read more

They will take their time to explain all your options, and will help you set up the phones and serve all your phone, tablets, jet-packs, and accessories needs. While the rest of the employees are all running around working the managers just sit around the store chatting away not doing a thing. Typical retail management. I've always had good service at this location until I visited yesterday. I always go to this location because of the good service I have had in the past. I went in yesterday with intention of upgrading my phone after 2.5 years. When I walked in it looked pretty empty of customers but also of employees, there were some working on a display that they were redoing and one of them said someone will be right with me to check me in. I was able to walk around the whole store before they came out to start checking everyone in then maybe another 10 or so minutes before a representative came out, I don't remember his name I don't think he said it. He asked if I knew what I wanted when I told him (galaxy s8) he made a face and when we were looking at the phones and I was explaining what I was thinking in terms of which size phone he didn't give much input just started looking and seeing if I wanted insurance grumbling about the phones design. He said he had to see what he could do and would be back. The whole time he was with me he must have said more about trying to find me a cheaper plan than about the phones. It was a good 20 minutes waiting watching customers come in those who weren't upgrading seemed to have better luck with service many left instead of waiting. Then the girl who had checked me in came back to say my rep was helping several people besides me but he wanted to let me know about a plan that'd be better which she rambled off a bunch of things about the plan that I didn't understand. I was tired of waiting and had started second guessing which phone I wanted so at that point I told her not today and I left. I had been interested in hearing about plan options seeing as I'm on a plan wirh my parents and wanted to see if there were better options for us. As we waited my parents were considering upgrading after 6 years but none of us did. I was disappointed with this trip since they've been so helpful and efficient in the past. read more

I had a great experience with this Verizon store. I tend to keep my cell phone until it dies and my Samsung SIII bit the dust this week unexpectedly. I stopped in the store during my lunch and received immediate service. I asked questions about several phones I had researched and decided to stay with an Android. Steve was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The sales staff have to offer you other services to go along with your new phone but there was no pressure when I opted out. Stopped in to the South Windsor Verizon today to pay a bill. The Kiosk was giving me trouble, the staff said they don't handle that. I then asked questions about an app on my phone, the staff said they don't handle that. I then asked a question about a my plan and, you guessed, the staff doesn't handle that. Absolutely horrible customer service. Greeted at the door by an employee who seemed indifferent at my arrival. He signed me in. Well over thirty minutes later I still had not spoken with a representative about a simple billing change/question. As I was leaving I asked how long I had been waiting. I asked if that long period of time was acceptable. She said no. She did tell me I was next but come on, how much longer should I have waited. Don't get the HUM and don't believe everything you are told! I am usually reluctant to add anything new or upgrade because I feel their will be hidden fees, but I was deceived by the charming words that day regarding the"free service as a long time customer". Even after asking several questions, i was assured i would be benefiting from the promotion. Now not only have I paid hidden fees but i am also bound into a HUM contract and have now discovered that I am paying extra fees on my new phones because they did not give me the same options as my current phone. This is the first time in several years as a loyal customer that I am gravely disappointed and feel that I was lied to. And yes, the parking is horrible as well. read more

The staff is all about going above and beyond for their customers. I especially want to thank John Gilmore, who was incredibly patient and helpful - he helped me out of a nightmare. My iPhone locked up when I was half way between my home in Boston and Philly and the Apple store wouldn't help me without the phone's sales receipt! I was lucky enough to wander into this store and they really helped out, helped me contact my store at home in Littleton and get a receipt for purchase of my iPhone, and I was able to get Apple to unlock my phone. I am only basing my review on a one time visit to this store when my Samsung Galaxy S5 started draining battery power within the last 2 weeks after having it for a year purchased from Verizon. I am sorry I didn't get the name of the person to whom I spoke, but when I told him what was happening the first thing he said was that it was an old phone and what did I want him to do? (DUH I want you to help me. ) He didn't suggest checking the phone and said he didn't have a battery..that doesn't make sense. I ended up walking out. He was rude, unhelpful to the point where I am going to lodge a formal complaint about him. I ended up going to another Verizon store where I got real help from a service oriented person. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE if the quality of personnel is reflected by this bad egg than prevent yourself aggravation. read more

My daughter went to this Verizon just to check out a few phones. On entering the store she was greeted by an individual who asked if she would sign in. My daughter reluctantly agreed until the person asked for her phone number. Now in this day and age of identity theft, loss of personal data, dishonest people my daughter responded do I have to give you my number? I would have asked the same question myself. The individual flat out said if she did not sign in no sales rep would assist her and she made sure that no sales rep did. All my daughter wanted to do was look at some phones and ask a few questions. What if she was not currently a Verizon customer? I'm not talking about a little kid who wandered into the store. My daughter is a college graduated working professional who by the way was well dressed as she just came from work. Frustrated my daughter just walked out. Now I understand why there are so many bad reviews for this particular store. In the strive for shuffling a customer through their system they appear to care less about the needs of the customer. Perhaps a concern of invasion of privacy is not a big deal to these employees but it is one of my daughters. Not really sure what the management style is but the customer service training needs work, unless they don't mind loss of sales.They only have one star on this review and if they had negative stars that would have been more appropriate. read more

i ordered a phone to be picked up at this stores location. i was met with really terrible customer service because the order wasn't under my name and had to be picked up by my father. i explained to representative how my father is living in New Hampshire and its impossible for him to pick it up. i was told they have to cancel the order but that never happened. i was also met with terrible customer service online and on the phone. i can now see why the commercial guy switched to sprint. read more
