Very helpful kind staff I was able to get some open box jvc earbuds for whatttttt $19 yessss

This item rang up for $199.99

This store shows incorrect pricing and is unwilling to work with the consumer. If you don't want to grab and item and expect a $100 jump in price when you get to the register, I do not recommend shopping here. The manager is less then willing to right their wrong and doesn't care about you as a customer. If I were you I'd shop at another best buy or on Amazon! They then tell you to call corporate which refuses to help as they say they don't control stores. Terrible company with 0 rules on their mistakes!

My experience today at the Manchester Bestbuy was terrible. They engaged in a classic bait and switch pricing scheme. We intended to purchase an item that was listed for $27.99. The item was in the Television section of the store on a spindle that had a tag attached that said $27.99. There were at least five additional items on the spindle of the same make and model. As we went to cash out at the front of the store the same item was on another spindle with the same listed price of $27.99 at the checkout counter. The spindle located near the checkout counter also had several of the items on the spindle listed for the same price. However, when the salesperson rang up the item it came out to $34.99, $37.21 with tax. Due to the fact that we intended to purchase the item for the listed $27.99 and that we again observed the same item at the checkout in the front of the store with the same listed price of $27.99. We assumed that it must have been a mistake by the salesperson when he scanned the item and it returned a different price. The salesperson stated that was the scanned price. We then proceeded to show the salesperson the item on the spindle at the checkout counter with the listed $27.99 price. The salesperson observed the item in question with the listed $27.99 price, but stated that he could not do anything about as it scanned at $34.99. We asked to speak to a manager about this discrepancy in pricing. The manager arrived and identified himself as Edwin. I asked for his last name for clarification so that if needed I could identify the person whom I had spoken to about this issue. The manager who identified himself as Edwin stated that he could not give out his last name. We showed Edwin the item that we had intended to purchase and the location at the checkout counter where the item was listed for $27.99. We also stated to him that it was listed for $27.99 in the Television section of the store where we had initially found the item. Store manager Edwin proceeded to tell us that if we wanted the item, we had to pay whatever it scanned at. We explained to Store manager Edwin that the price wasn't the issue, but the deceptive pricing was the issue. By now several other customers had gathered had begun to make my wife and I feel uncomfortable. We explained that it was not our fault that the item was listed for $27.99 in two separate locations within the store and that they should honor the price that the item was listed for. Store manager Edwin emphatically stated that he did not have to honor anything and that the price was whatever the item scanned at. Due to the fact that several other customers had gathered, and it appeared that Store manager Edwin was implying that we were complaining over a mere $10.00 difference we begin to feel a sense of uneasiness with the circumstances. We stated to Store Manager Edwin that it was not about the money but the principle, that this is a classic bait and switch scheme. We had already paid for the item that rang up for $37.21 but demanded a refund if Store manager Edwin did not want to honor the $27.99 that was on the price tags in two separate locations in the store. Store manager Edwin stated that he would not honor the $27.99 that was on the tags. I will never shop at this Best Buy in Manchester CT. Store # 484 if this is going to be their store practice. I have purchased several large screen televisions from this store in the past but would recommend that no one make any purchases going forward without carefully checking the pricing. Steven A. My experience was classic bait and switch. Ordered a 48" range online at an excellent (but not…read moreunique) price, website claimed it was in stock and that I would need to pick it up at their West Hartford warehouse. Got a confirmation E-mail stating order would be "processed once payment was confirmed" (odd, since CC payments are generally automated these days). Next day, I got what appeared to be an automated E-mail (no name or phone number, DoNotReply sender) stating that their "policy" was that I would need to come to their store in person to confirm identity & credit card, and that the item was a special order (not in stock after all, I guess!). Since it's a 4-hour drive each way, going there twice defeats the purpose of an online order... When I called to try to clear things up, "Jack" told me the item was not in stock and that there appeared to be a pricing error (more alarm bells start up in my head). After consulting with his manager, he did call me back, to tell me that the part number is not on the Kitchenaid site, so they can't even order it, and they don't have it in stock. I just went back on their site, and they still list that exact part number listed (KFID948SJP), but at a much, much higher price, of course. When I expressed my displeasure and asked to speak to a manger, it went to voice mail. The only excuse offered was "the website is pretty automated". I get that mistakes happen, but reputable stores make some effort to make it right with the customer. A retail store is responsible for their advertised pricing.

My latest experience was to purchase both a ballast and T12 lightbulbs. I'm not afraid to ask for help and say I don't know something. I didn't even have to wait, someone came over and offered to help me. He told me where I could find ballasts and even said they are giving them away. He tried to first find me something on clearance as he wanted to save me money. When the one I was looking for was not there in clearance, he me the right one, which was about $18. I was looking for LED lights, but he convinced me that this might not be a good fit, today, because they were new and have not come down in price. This light is at the bottom of my stairs and won't be used often so I'll give it a few more months before I address LED lights again. What he gave me was the ability to get my bottom of the stairs lights back, not just a product. Home Depot does it well and that's why this is my home store for hardware.

HOWEVER... delivery was scheduled... the driver called at 11:45 to tell us they would be there in 20 minutes. At 12:00 I received a text stating "they could not complete our delivery" and someone would call to reschedule. WHAT?? Well apparently, due to a storm, there was a tree down on a street in our neighborhood (not ours) and the drivers chose not to detour the ONE MINUTE it would have taken them to go around the block. They just called 15 minutes earlier... they couldn't call me back??? I immediately called the delivery number they gave me and was told the drivers could NOT turn around, and the next delivery date was several days out. I went above and beyond to prepare for this delivery... even putting the old refrigerator right by the door for them. The drivers must be in the business of losing money for the company... after this debacle we immediately cancelled the order and purchased elsewhere.
