Currently waiting to be seen for a 5 pm appointment. It's 545. Apparently, my app was "cancelled" somehow. After I checked in? Not cool. Was finally helped after 55 minutes of waiting. I didn't appreciate the 4 people with the blue iPads (I think to check in) just hanging out in the middle. They should be looking around at people they send to the tables to "wait a few minutes" and make sure they have been helped. There was a gentleman at the same table as me that was waiting there before me! And was helped like 15 minutes after me. The guy that helped me was great. Very apologetic when he found out my app was at 5. But again, there were 4 employees standing around doing nothing and staring right at me knowing that I was waiting for about 45 minutes. read more

NOT POSSIBLE. Phone was NEVER DROPPED. NEVER IN LIQUID. EVER. And, it was in a Lifeproof case since purchase 'just in case', but never needed. Either they are lying for profit, or they are incompetent. Left at 10PM because they refused a $29 battery because they wanted to charge $299 for a phone. Completely full of crap. Let me tell you about yesterday, and how I received the best customer service ever. LOL JK. Backstory: Phone is broke, the cord for my charger isn't working; the world is ending! Well not really. Anyway, went to the Apple store at Domain Northside without an appointment. Was greeted by a store rep and was assigned an appointment. The rep said it could take about 25 minutes so I waited. Fortunately for me there was a gentlemen there giving a presentation on photos which I found intriguing (he deserves a raise). Long story short, that 25 minutes turned into 3 hours of waiting with no sight of it ending so I left. Apparently I was suppose to receive a text when it would be my turn to be seen but I never received an alert. I figured if I didn't cancel my appointment maybe I'd receive the text alert and I could drive back and be seen. It's day 2 and I haven't received a text alert about my appointment. Other than my experience at Apple I had an ok day. I mean my screen is a bit shaky and it's hard to use the keypad, but I guess getting this review out in 5 hours is ok too. What's the point of an appointment? I arrived early for the replacement of two iPhone 6. 45 minutes later, a "genius" told me the batteries needed to be replaced. No batteries in stock and Apple would call me "sometime" in the future. Talk about a wasted trip. Two weeks later, I called Apple Support. Yes, they show the batteries were bad but, not ordered. They will follow up in 3 days.... Got it, Apple wants me to buy a $1000 iPhone X, so you slow down my old phone? The X will be orphaned just like my iPhone 6. What then, $2599 for the next iPhone? I'm new to Macs, but working with the Apple geniuses is so much better than working with Dell tech support. They don't talk down to me, the work is done well, and I feel like they actually care how well my computer is doing. I also don't have to mail my computer off to some work center, like I had to do with Dell! Huzzah! Get Apple care if you have a computer. It is so worth it. My 2011 Macbook pro has had at least $900 worth of work done on it this year, and it was all completely covered by Apple care. Compared to the hundreds I had to spend fixing my old PC myself (just parts, not labor), it's worth it. It's probably cheaper to buy any Apple-compatible accessories online instead of in the store, but for technical work, this Apple store is tops. read more

After waiting for over two months to receive the battery replacement because of Apple deceiving slow down they impose on older IPhones, I headed to Apple today to get the battery replaced. They already diagnosed it on my initial visit and told me the screen would break more and I said ok. They said it's $29 I said ok. They said we have no replacement parts if something else breaks I said ok. I agreed to all of their painful terms and condition and they still would not do it unless I spent $174 with them to get other things fixed that don't need to be fixed and are not of my concerns. The gentleman that helped me was polite and courteous but the manager that I asked to speak to literally showed me the door in a gesture telling me you can leave now if you don't want to spent the $174. After waiting over two months and getting the initial diagnostic test done with a store visit that lasted an hour I wasted all this time by giving them another chance to keep me as an Apple customer and fix the slow downs they caused my iPhone 6 because of the tricked software update. After giving them that chance they showed me the door! Well guess what they got me once shame on them, they get me the second time, shame on me! Apple today succeeded at showing me the door after refusing to fix my phone (fixing my phone would be at my expense for $29 and nothing that Apple have to pay). They refused my money to fix the phone they caused to break! And they show you the door on top! I will make it my mission to change all my family devices to non Apple as well as inform people of the bait and switch at the store and the rude practices if you don't say " Okay I'll lay down and pay whatever you want me to pay" you get shown the door! "Have a nice day sir" that's what he said, off course I will "sir" because I won't spend another dime in your store for a product that you will slow down then fail on purpose! Con artists! Not geniuses! Have to add all the spelling mistakes are caused by the text prediction of an iPhone 6 Plus :), "if" becomes "of" and "spend" becomes "spent". Tech support told me to go into the store, the store told me i would have to use tech support. I waited an hour for them to tell me to come back later. Also, not being able to make reservations without an Apple ID is the stupidest system. Being locked out of my account I couldn't make an appt. Plus they charge 50% more than other shops. If you would like to replace your iPhone batty please be aware of there long face and rude careless staff. I went to Apple to check my batteries(1/02) then I got a call (1/19) from Apple to replace my batteries on 1/21 at 9am for my two cellphones(I have two appointments for two cellphones). I get in line and wait for them to let me drop off my cellphones for battery replacements after an hour I went back to the store and the door man told me to go to Starbucks(what??) to wait and said only one of the cellphones were ready and asked me to come back after 30 minutes. Then after 30 minutes, I went back the door man and he said that it still was not ready and asked me to come back after 15 mins. After 15 mins, I went back to the store and the man was finally willing to go back to ask if there was any problems inside. He didn't tell me that both cellphones were ready or not, he just said "you can go in". The technician brought one cellphone back to me and said the battery had been replaced and I told him I had dropped off two cellphones and I had two case numbers. He tell me that they only replace one of them and they couldn't replace the other. Ok why didn't you just tell me the first time that you could only replace one of my two batteries? I gave this technician my credit card and he said he would email receipt to me right away. After 15 minutes, I drove back to Apple AGAIN, and I told the door man that I really did not want to come back but I have to because they never sent me the receipt. He went to the back to ask someone and asked me to check my email then shut the door without saying sorry. I didn't force you to come work in the early morning of a Sunday, I don't want to have to come at such an early time and wait for a long time with a very unhelpful staff crew. I would think that your employees at Apple need more training. After I making a complained phone call to there 1800 customers service I feel much better. read more

If you are wanting to waste your time please step forward into this apple store. I came to get my iPhone leather case looked at and the greeter at the front took it to the back to review with her manager. Afterwards they both agreed it qualified and she set up my appointment with the genius. After waiting several minutes he looked at my case, qualified it and then tried to read the serial number. After not being able to read it, he once again went back to qualifying and disqualified it for being under warranty and said there was nothing he could do but have me purchase another one. The entire process was a waste of my time and just showed how inefficient some apple employees can be. I was having some strange video problems with my MacBook Pro, so I took it into the Apple Store to be looked at. Sure enough, it needed a new motherboard. The rep said I was actually one day past my warranty period. Technically, it had been one year and a day since the computer shipped from China. It had been several days less than a year since I had received it. Not sure the time it's in route (from overseas, no less) should count in the warranty period, but no harm, no foul. The replacement motherboard had to be ordered. I was told it would take three or four business days, and I would be called when it came in. After five business days, I called them, and they said they had it. The lack of the call they promised was the only reason they got four stars, not five. So, yesterday morning (Friday), I took the laptop into the store. The lady that I checked it in with said it would be ready in three to five days. "Does that count Monday?" I asked, as Monday is July Fourth. "Yup. We're open Monday," she replied. "So, by three to five days, you mean three to five business days, right? So it'll be ready by next Friday at the latest?" "Actually, we do repairs every day," she said. Wow. So my machine might be ready as soon as Monday, and no later than Wednesday. That's a pleasant surprise. I was expecting to have to use this nine year old, seriously jacked up Dell tower for at least a week. Jeez, Windoze sucks. Especially Windoze on a machine that's so old that the cooling fan blows dust onto you. So, I'm sitting at the Dell Dimension P.O.S. this morning trying to work. It's Saturday. I don't feel like working, and the computer sucks. Nothing in the operating system is where it's supposed to be. A call comes in on my cell phone. I don't recognize the number, but it's local. That means it's not likely to be someone trying to offer my lower credit card rates. Or a new home warranty. Or some crap like that. So, I answer. It's Apple. And my computer is ready. I drive over as quickly as I can. Don't know if you've been to an Apple store on a weekend, but this morning at least, it was packed. People everywhere. So loud I couldn't hear the music playing on my iPhone. Anyways, I tell an employee up front why I'm there, he walks me to the back and hands me off to the lady who checked my computer in yesterday. Number one 1 is that it's an apple store and they are constantly busy and number 2 it's in the Domain so you know it's gonna be even busier the wait time can really get you. But it is completely worth it because these people all know what they are doing and willing to answer any questions you may have about their products. My fiancé and I have had to take phones in multiple times lately because family members end up locking themselves out of their phones and every time they have helped a great deal to get back into the phone. The store is beautiful, everything else about the experience is ugly. I've been an Apple customer for a long time and I've watched them as a company shift from being reasonable in their interactions with me when problems have arisen with my iPhones to now acting with complete apathy. Maybe this is all Apple corporate or maybe it's a 50/50 share between this particular store and Apple corporate. My IPhone 7 stopped working just before my warranty expired so they reluctantly exchanged it for a new one. That one stopped working after 6 months and so I went in to see what they could do. A repair. Ok that's fine. It'll take 3-5 days. Ok that's fine. We don't have any loner phones for you while you wait for the repairs to be made. What?! "Yeah we are fresh out sorry. " Anyways. 8 days later now and they just told me that the manager was incorrect when telling me 3-5 days because it's actually 7-10 days. But I'll update this post in a couple days because I have a feeling it might be 10-15 soon. Bottom line, I can't wait for Amazon to enter back into the phone space again. I'll even be comfortable with giving up some functionality while they get their product in line, just so I can be a small part in showing Apple that treating customers like profit units will eventually eliminate profits altogether, because you won't have any customers left. read more

I went in just to browse yesterday and possibly get a new charger and let me tell you how weird it was. The actual store itself was fine but it was incredibly strange how many employees were there. At least 70% of the actual people in the store were apple employees just standing around praying they got to help someone. Like I'm talking a good 25-30 employees. And because of how many employees were there wandering around we got asked 6 times in the span of 10 minutes if we needed any help. I'm sure this is required by management for some reason, but dear lord let people shop in peace, there's no reason I need to be hounded by employees so they can make a sale quite literally every minute and a half. Also they have such a small stock of accessories. Like apple watch bands. They were all very basic and not very creative. I'd much rather get one on amazon for cheaper if they're all gonna be monochromatic lines for patterns. read more

So I take my watch into the Apple store, (Which is chaos by the way, people walking around and telling people's names.) and am told that the issue that is happening with my watch is a software issue, and the "code" popping up with my serial number is prompting them to cover the cost of repair. Great! I sign the ticket and leave believing what the tech told me. LO AND BEHOLD, that is not the case and I get an email asking for payment on the watch I WAS JUST told that there wouldnt be a fee for unless they found damage done to the watch. There was no damage to the watch, and they had the audacity to put that I "Failed to mention" other issues with the watch. Absolutely ridiculous. Wow !!! Gabby at this Apple Store is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !!! I walked into the store today since my new Apple 11Plus phone would not turn on this morning !!! I did the 'Normal' thing, charged it overnight with 'Their' chargIng cord and when I went turn it on....NOTHING !!! Let me tell you how Scary that was !! No Phone !! OMG !!! Thank Goodness I have Navigation in my car, how would I ever find the Closest Store ??? Anyway, I walked in and I have to say IMMEDIATELY Gabby walked up, greeted me with a Great Smile, and asked me how she could help me ! I was really concerned thinking I had been 'Hacked' or Something! Gabby assured me that Apple is Outstanding and no one is able to Hack an Apple i Phone. I pulled out my 'Dead' phone and she commented that it was the Brand New model and that I shouldn't be having any problems ! I kid you not, she pushed 3 Buttons and there it was the APPLE Icon !! Seriously, I was shocked !!! I asked her how she did that and she explained to me what I needed to do to 'Re-boot' the phone !! Sometimes they just need a ReBoot to get back on track !! Haha, like me I Guess ?? So easy, press top left side button, then press the bottom left side button, then press the right side button and Voila !!!! It's on !!! We talked for a while about 'things' and she listened patiently !! She even told me about how Apple is so 'Forward Thinking' about Protecting the environment !! What a Great Employee !!! The customer service is just horrible. It is the worst experience I have ever had with any company. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I went to the store to have the battery of my iPhone 6S replaced. After waiting for 30 minutes to talk to someone who could help me, the "genius" told me they didn't have any batteries so she put a work authorization order. That was over a month ago! They said they will let me know when the battery comes but I'm still waiting. I also tried to check the status of my case by calling the store several times a day and several days throughout this month. I haven't been able to speak to anybody yet. The automated system puts me on hold and about 30 minutes waiting the call just gets dropped. It is ridiculous and still no battery replacement. read more

I trekked in the rain while holding my 8-month-old from the old location to the new location. Their staff isn't knowledgeable about the products (stated features about a phone that were untrue then sold me the wrong model after I was clear about the storage size I needed) They give off this vibe as though they're a group of elite technologists.... they're not. This is closer to a Best Buy than it is to the offices in Cupertino. Stop pretending this isn't a basic retail store. The ego this team emits is sickening with their customer lines and redirects and endless BS for the simplest of needs. Crack a phone? Go from waiting area to waiting area with an hour + wait. Lose an AirPod? Better bring all your documents, social security number, naming rights to your first child and a notary to get it replaced... oh and wait an hour. This review does not apply directly to the Apple Store, but rather to Apple telephone tech help. I recently was given an iPod Touch (2nd Gen) without the owner's manual or instructions for use. Even though I had an iPod Nano already and have iTunes on my PC, I was unfamiliar with its operation and needed help moving the songs from the Nano to my Touch. I phoned the Apple Tech Help line, and after about 10 minutes om hold, spoke to a Tech who could not help me but transferred me to her supervisor (after another 5 min. wait on hold). The supervisor told me in very polite terms that Apple no longer supports a product as old as a 2nd Generation iPod Touch. . . SO, they would not be able to help me. Please note, I was not told they COULD not help me, just they would not. The supervisor then asked me if I wanted a list of independent tech shops in my area that could probably help me for a fee. So, all of you Apple fanatics out there should note: Apple does not support their older products any better than Microsoft, and if your product is "too old" you are on your own. This location has moved--it's now in the new section of the Domain. The store is bigger, or seems like it, and is an interesting experience. It looks cool and modern, and there are employees swarming everywhere. Generally one will check you in, and direct you to wait somewhere for help. ("Go wait by that wall over there.") I always feel like they don't know I'm there, or will never find me, but then boom, here's someone calling your name. I had my iPhone 6+ fixed yesterday--it took about two hours. Nobody tried to upsell me or anything, which was nice but kind of surprising. I'm sure they know I'll be back, but they also probably know I bought my laptop in 2012, so I'm overdue. I paid with an Apple gift card, so that just took a few seconds. This was the second time I've been to the new store--the first time I bought Ear Pods, which were a huge disappointment. They are super cool, but do not stay in my ears when I run, which is need #1 for my earphones. Bummer. I can use them when I'm sitting around, but that's about it. Make sure you run with them before you buy them. I jumped up and down a few times to try them, but it's obviously (now) not the same thing. read more

I LOVE this store. I haven't always had great experiences at other Apple stores, but I had a great experience here. They deliver excellent customer service and I found coming to this location to be an extremely upbeat and positive experience. The manager, Vicente, does a great job taking care of all of the customers and fixing my phone issues. I feel like Vicente and the whole team here go above and beyond to make the Apple store a great place to come. The staff was all very helpful and knowledgable. The atmosphere is upbeat and they have a great attitude and are very friendly. Great team here, very well-run by great leadership. I was in and out very quickly. My phone was acting up 2 months after I got it brand new (I did not buy it at this location). It would get really warm if I used GPS, played music, or during short phone calls. It got worse, and warmer, very quickly. In the end it would get so hot that I couldn't get service anymore. Only WiFi. Then my on/off button stopped responding. I had to print out directions to get to the domain. Back to the Stone Age. When I got there, I told them my phone would get really hot. I was afraid it would explode in my hand if I continued to use it. Then they told me it would be an hour and 30 minute wait, maybe 2 hours, before they could get someone to assist me (I had arrived around 2 in the afternoon; it was a mad house in there). Then I told them that my phone had gotten so hot that I couldn't receive texts or calls anymore, so there would be no way of reaching me when it was my turn. Immediately, without a second thought, they put me in the front of the queue and I was assisted 5 minutes later. They ended up giving me a brand new phone, same model, color, and memory. They transferred all my data from my previous phone, and I was out of there in 30 minutes. Lit. :) read more

Just bought my phone about 1.2 years ago and put it in the best case. Later I find that the screen goes blank and say there is something wrong with the chip. I take it n after waiting 2 hours for the lady to say hat the chip is somehow damaged and need a new phone. It's just over a year old and I baby the phone. I will never it a piece of crap iPhone again. I would recommend not buying Apple due to everyone that was in there for the and problem. read more
