New ATT internet customer here. Not sure that this was the best decision, but I digress. I was sent a faulty extender. ATT's policy is that the customer has to leave work/home and take the device to a UPS or Fedex store for returns, or be charged $200. So, I went to the UPS store. The woman could not find my account based on the account number I gave her. She told me that I had to go an ATT store. Yes I was frustrated, but let's call him John seemed to be having a bad day too. I attempted to explain that I was sent there, and I was on my lunch break.John told me that the store does not do returns. I think I squealed What do I do next? I asked John if he could confirm the account number I was given. Nope, John said that he didn't like my attitude. I asked to speak with the manager. While waiting, I contacted a helpful ATT rep who confirmed my number and clarified that "it just depends on the store" as to whether returns are expected. My attitude? Well guess what. Sometimes people are frustrated with the product you are selling. No insulting names, threats, obscenities were offered. No aspersions on anyone's competency were shared. Customer service is a rough gig, but it's not about you. I typically go to the Allandale store for support. Staff there are uniformly helpful It's worth the extra miles. read more

Every time I walk in this store at the domain location, I always have great service. All of the staff greet you as soon as you walk in and make you feel like a valued customer. Today I was assured by John who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable the entire time. Very patient and understanding. I definitely don't have this experience at every location, this honestly is the best one. read more

Regarding my AT&T brand screen protector, for reference. I came here about a year ago to get my screen protector replaced for the reduced price, as I had done a few previous times at different location AT&T stores. The first time I came to this location, no problem! The guy helping me was great! The second time, a middle aged woman with shoulder length hair literally gaslit me and told me there was no record of me ever buying it and I needed to go to the place I bought my phone (which she said was an authorized retailer- it wasn't lol). Julio helped me today and was a rockstar. I'm w Tmobile after Verizon, after ATT, after Sprint. I had a Galaxy Note 20 I wanted to unlock to give away and I thought I had it w ATT. It was w Verizon...I felt dumb, but he helped me change out Sim cards to show it was already unlocked. That's service, even if Im not w ATT now due to living in a tower hole (Im still ATT for GB speed fiber to our home). I have to say that when I first walked in, I was a straight up grumpy Gus. My internet has been out at my house for 3 days, and my phone's 5G hadn't been kicking in. When trying to call AT&T, they had hung up on me twice, and my call dropped the third time. So again- when going into the store I was probably not my friendly self. I've been in cornfields in the middle of Kansas with better coverage than at the Domain. 1 distant 4G tower south of the Domain, and oversaturated. Worthless! I had to go far south to pick up the free Simon WiFi, but already got WiFi at North. ATT makes Austin look like an old fashioned hick town. read more

My first experience here was positive, tonight...not so much. I went in this evening to upgrade my phone. Picked out my phone, paid off the small remaining balance on my current phone so I could keep it, deactivated said phone and began the new phone process. Suddenly I am told that if I want a new phone today I would have to pay a $300 deposit because of an issue on the account. "What is the issue," I inquire. The sales associate doesn't really have an answer other than, "It looks like a credit issue with someone on the account and recent changes that may have been made...but you know, that amount will come off the price of the phone so your monthly price will go down slightly." No effort was made to look into the issue or help me in any way. Confused and annoyed I left. While there are other people on my account, we all have excellent credit and no issues. After enjoying some dinner and returning home I decide to call AT&T and see if they can help me. If nothing else, I would like to know if there is a problem with someone's credit, even though we all monitor it each month. Fast forward 20 minutes...I have a new phone shipping priority mail to me! The very nice AT&T employee on the phone had no clue what the person in the store referred to and nothing ever popped up on my account about having to pay a $300 deposit! hmmm.... Hey AT&T at the Domain you might want to revaluate your customer services policies. I could have paid the money but no way am I going to fork over $300 with no explanation... I will be enjoying my new phone in a few days, no thanks to you! read more

The worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. The associate didn't even take the time to look up my account or actually sit down with me to figure out what I needed. She dismissed the conversation completely and told me to go to a different store. I've been an AT&T customer for 10 years and it was completely ridiculous, rude, and unprofessional. read more

Nice friendly service. Took a while like over a week to send a technician out which cost me $100 even though I asked if this was even necessary? only to realize after waiting once the guy came out that there wasnt enough juice to my building to really get clear streaming. So I wound up having to cancel after 7 more days of trying, just sign up with spectrum in the end. Spectrum was overnighted to my place and self install. all they did was ship me a box and I turned it on myself. I'm not sure why all the work and wait for ATT just to have it removed. The customer service at ATT is inept. I spoke to a manager at the call center today that proposed I go back to the store and accuse them of not sending the returned phone back to corporate office. They were too lazy to contact this store or look up the Serial number of the returned phone as they continue to bill me $1200 for a phone I returned. Went into this store and was greeted by a very helpful and professional Customer Representative Rodrigo Castro. After multiple attempts to cancel my ATT WiFi over the phone and not going anywhere, Rodrigo assisted me in resetting my Pin Code as well as my Secret Questionaire. He then provided me the correct number to get cancelled on line. He stayed with me through the cancellation process until i got it resolved. His professionalism and attention to my needs shows he really cares whether your cancelling a service or signing up for a new one. Practically empty store, at least six AT&T on the floor, three sitting at table, and no one to even get you on list to be helped. Really poor customer service model. Apple is always busy, but there is always someone at the door to assist you in getting in line for help. If your buying iPhone, don't waste your time here. Head to Apple store. This is great, but perhaps you could put the money you use on ads like this into fixing your store customer service. I worked for Verizon for over a year, and we never once required a restock fee for accessories(Apple or not). Today, I went to return a pair of Beats to the store located at The Domain in Austin, Tx. I got them last week, when my current pair started having problems and it turns out it was just an iOS issue. When I went to return them, I was told there was a $15 restocking fee because Apple makes them do this. Now, last week, their rep Kourtney, told me I could return these headphones in 14 days and get my money back. Well, I got them on the installment plan, so I paid $12.54. I had to pay them $2.61 to return the headphones. All they could do is offer me a credit on my bill. This is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. They should give me my money back and take the $15 out of the commission statement of their representative. I didn't do anything wrong, I was never told about a restocking fee when I got them. I told them a few times that I was going to take my current Beats to Apple first and I was told by Kourtney and one other rep I could just return them if I needed to. Having come out of the cellphone industry, I know that they only see customers as dollar signs, but this store should have to give me my $15 dollars back in cash. I didn't want a credit, I wanted my money on my card. I've been a customer for a long time, since the company was Cingular. I didn't leave when I worked for Verizon, but you know what nobody ever lied to customers in my store. I am going to make sure everyone knows that ATT reps lie just to get money. I'm going to let them know that a customer can't make a return without being penalized for false advertising reps and I will continue buying my accessories at Verizon, a company that actually has taken many returns(including Beats) for me without a single problem. I should also mention that there wasn't a single statement on the form I signed mentioning this fee and it's nowhere in the store. So, false fees if a customer isn't told ahead of time. read more

When I went to self install my internet Saturday, a cord was missing and I was going to have to wait until Tuesday for an appointment. I reached out to Daniel and he went out of his way to find me an extra cord - I was able to pick it up hassle-free the same day!! This a new store here and the place is bigger than most AT&T stores I have visited before. Its spacious, clean, with plenty of seating. First impressions mean a lot to me though and the first impression I had was feeling like I was prey to huge vultures waiting to attack LOL. I am instantly turned off of a place when I enter and see 10 plus sales people staring at me like I am their next meal. With that being said though - the person who helped up, Theo, was very nice and thorough and we were helped instantly with good customer service. I recently moved and have zero cell service in my new home. I called and spoke with William who was very helpful and when I went in and actually worked with William to get my plan switched over from Sprint, he not only explained everything in layman's terms so that I understood each and every step...but he called in a guy to help get me a new phone and also set me set up a time for internet to be installed in my home. Dustin was at the store in less than 10 minutes to help us out! Very fast and efficient work at the AT&T Domain!! I am very pleased with my cell service now. read more

I had a horrible experience at this store and, after my visit, I went to the Apple store. Let me mention there was one other couple when I came in the AT&T store and it took us 30 min to get help, and there were about 150 people in the Apple store and I got helped immediately (and with better, friendlier service). I went in (I am a younger woman) and no one would help me even though there were 3 people doing absolutely nothing and it was earlier in the day. A man finally came up to us after about 30 min of waiting and the first thing he did was slam the iPad on the table and ask "what do you want." I was instantly in a bad mood but held onto hope. He then had no clue what I was asking about and gave me advice that did not help my situation. He also would not tell me who from my FAMILY was on the "authorized user" list because he could not "physically show me that" (even though I had already seen the names on the iPad when he would lay it on the desk). Overall had a horrible experience and I went back to the Apple store and they solved my problem efficiently. read more

Asif from this location is great! He helped us set up our internet, cable & phones. We had a small issue that he was able to solve right away. The issue arose a few months later (not due to him) and he worked on it for a couple of days with us. He even called on his own accord to make sure everything was fixed the way it should be. We don't get good customer service like this these days & Asif worked wonders for us. We are glad he is our sales rep and highly recommend that if going to this store, you chose him as your rep. read more
