This used to be the good location. I think the thing Apple stores are lacking these days is customer service. It's ridiculous to not have employees specifically for checking people out that just want to make a quick purchase. When I go in, I know what I want. I have no questions. I just want the product ASAP. No, instead all employees just help everyone. So you're stuck waiting just to be checked out along with the same customers that have questions. I should not have to wait 20 minutes or more to make a purchase. That is crazy! I reviewed Mayfair poorly because I went in and waited way too long and just walked out. My last visit at this location was not good. We had to get on a list just to make a purchase with no questions. We're standing around for a good 15 mins. On our lunch. The gentleman that came to help us was VERY sarcastic. He said I'm so sorry you had to wait 7 minutes. This was what he said as he approached us. We had not mentioned our wait time or even spoke to him at that point. It was 15 not 7. Very rude guy. Probably will just order online if I need to. The stores are not made for anyone that just needs to buy something then and there. There should be an area with a few employees to check out people who run in for an item or two and don't need to ask any questions. Then the employees walking around answering questions can ring up those customers with questions. Why is this such a hard concept? read more

This place is amazing for repairing, they fix for free unless something else happens, because other times you might actually have to pay. They have a kids spot for the kids to play games on the iPads. read more

I walked into the store at 8:30 last night, and even though it was only one half hour before closing, I was greeted as if the doors had just opened for the day. I had a Genius Bar appointment because I had issues with my iPod Nano, which I had purchased in January of this year, and I walked out of the store with a brand new iPod. While I understand that this is a company policy and not up to the individual employee, this employee (and I'm sorry I didn't get his name) treated me with respect and a sense of humor; a great experience! read more

I initially took my MacBook Air to Computer World in Appleton for issues with the keyboard and signing on. They told me my warranty was voided due to water damage and that repair costs would range in the 850 dollar range; "You may want to consider buying a new computer". I took my computer to this store at Mayfair Mall for a second opinion. The tech tells me that their monitor for water damage did not indicate water damage. The card wireless, housing top case with keyboard, trackpad, and cable IPD all replaced under warranty. Computer World in Appleton wanted to make a new computer sale. This store wanted to fix my computer. Could not be happier. read more

I received a Macbook Pro for my birthday a few months ago and really didn't know how to use it. I stopped in to the Apple store in Bayshore several times to ask questions and the staff was incredibly helpful. I was working on a video project for grad school and wanted to use iMovie and Keynote, and they helped me figure out how to integrate everything and lay down the audio tracks. I was amazed how friendly and helpful they were - you don't get service like that anymore! The store was always busy but someone always found time to help out. Very impressive! :) read more

I am deeply saddened and highly unsatissfied. I spoke with someone on apple support that my phone has broken and wanted to get it replaced , he mentioned if I make it before 9 the store would be able to help me out. I drove all the way (25 miles), entered the store around quarter to 9 to have my iPhone replaced as its screen broke and the person flatly said all of our executives are helping other customers and you have to come back tomorrow to get it replaced. first, as per my knowledge if you enter a store before its closing time it is the least courtesy to attend the customers as per regular standards and decorum! If that's the case you should mention that on the website or store policy. All they want is to build new customer and not help the existing customers ( I could see a bunch of the staff hanging out and taking selfies). I requested the person on the Genius Bar as I had to leave outstation tonight for an important corporate event but he flatly rebuked and was so arrogant and stubborn. Poor after sale service. Let's start by stating that we own multiple businesses and - through our "kids" - were convinced that we should convert from Microsoft to Apple for hardware/software. So, we visited the store last Fall and were directed to buy a full Apple Air with a certain level of memory. We were assured that they (Apple) would take our email off of our PC laptop and place it all in order on the new Apple. So, we returned in December and bought several thousand dollars in merchandise - including the Apple Air as recommended. We were told that we should set up an appointment to get the conversion made and when we came to the appointment, we were told that they could not make the conversion of the email without our paying an additional 100 dollars for 1Plus1. So, we gave them the additional 100 dollars and were told that they needed the computers (both) and that they would call when the conversion was done - for yet another appointment. They called and asked for additional passwords and help from Godaddy (our URL provider). We called GoDaddy and they were very helpful and gave us an email on all things needed and when I called back, the Apple person said he didn't need the information. We then set another appointment, came to the store and were advised that they couldn't make the conversion of the email but that we should do it ourselves with the phone support of GoDaddy. When I expressed dismay about the multiple trips and money and still no basic email, I was told by the person at the store all about photos, movies, videos and games as all working....he completely...did not get it...as if business was not on his menu! So, we did and went home and made the phone calls and after some effort were able to get the email to work.... From our experience, we only know that there are too many people involved in any transaction, too many appointments to get jobs done, and completel lack of interest in business applications....Apple is clueless when it comes to business. Sad to see a company get this large and forget about sensitivity to customers. read more

I made an appointment for them to simply replace my phone, I have been here far 50 minutes, I am typing this review on one of their display computers....there are no less than 5 employees standing around at a time, one guy has been standing here texting and hasn't said a word to us, they always stand in pairs otherwise as to attempt to look busy, they can pay me to simply stand around any day. read more

get an iPhone 7. drive to Bayshore Apple Store. Park car. All you want is extra dongles for the phone with no dedicated audio port. Ten minutes they take to tell you they don't have any. How could this be? They're for a new product, are small and thus easy to keep in inventory, but somehow, the geniuses have no clue how much demand there'll be for this cheap but necessary product? argh.... If you sell phones that need this accessory, you shouldn't take ten minutes to tell a customer at your corporate store that, oops, you don't have any. Lame. read more

Had a problem with my iPhone 4S charging and after talking with a tech from apple on the phone and running a diagnostic he assured me that it was a updating problem and not a hardware problem. He said just go into the apple store and they will help fix it. While they tried to fix it in their back room the battery died and they couldn't charge it, so of course then it turned into a hardware problem that wasn't covered by them. Convenient for them I know, so now I'm out 200 dollars! Only go here if you plan on getting ripped off. read more

My wife had a great experience today at the Apple store in Bayshore. She bought a new iphone and the associate made it a seamless transaction. He also reviewed our Verizon bill and identified that Verizon was charging us for a phone that was out of contract. Will save us a substantial amount on our monthly bill. We will not be buying our phones through the carriers in the future. read more

The folks @ Bay Shore Mall Apple Store are unethical, just not qualified or possibly both when it come to quoting repairs or dealing with hardware issues. My daughter brought her Mac laptop as it would not boot up, she had spilled a small amount of juice on the keyboard at some point over the 15 months she has owned it, they immediately condemned it due to the spillage evidence and said it would cost $800 to repair. They also said she would lose all here data etc... as the hard drive could not be saved and the mother board would also need to be replaced. At which point I had a hysterical daughter. I made the round trip drive 5 + hours (and back 11+ hours total) to pick her and the laptop up.The only thing wrong was the SATA cable that runs from the hard drive to the mother board, a known problem with these laptops, and it was covered under Apple Care. I came in to have someone look at a replacement Iphone 6 that I bought about 6 months ago from the Bayshore store. A couple weeks ago when I woke up my phone could no longer receive service. My first issue with the store came with just trying to get an appointment. You need to make an appointment pretty far out at this store which was mildly inconvenient but not the end of the world. However, apple tells you to arrive early to check in which I did, and was told a genius would be with me before my appointment time or right at 2:40. I waited 30 minutes past 2:40 before anyone even talked to me. The apple "genius" then proceeded to do the exact restarts that my visit notes said I had already done. After wasting 30 more minutes of my time they tell me that I will need to purchase another replacement phone. How apple thinks it is a good business practice to charge people to replace phones that are obviously defective from the factory is beyond me and the amount of waiting time you keep people waiting at this store is extremely disrespectful in my opinion. This experience has put the final nail in apple's coffin for me just bad business and poor quality in the products that we spend so much money on. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I've been there 3 times over the last few months trying to get my Macbook repaired. Every time, I went online and made an appointment. Upon arriving at the store at my appointed times, each and every time I waited a minimum of 20 minutes to get help. Appointments? What a joke. I get it that as with doctors' offices, appointment times can get backed up since there's no way to predict how long each appointment will take. But this morning I had a 10 AM time - the same time the store opened, so no chance appointment times would be backed up yet, right? Wrong. Today's wait time was the longest so far - over 25 minutes. So I sat at the Genius Bar waiting while the customer to my right was being attended to by three geniuses. When one finally came in my direction and asked my name, he checked his tablet and said, "oh, you're just dropping off for repairs." yes - true. I started giving a brief description of my previous visits when the genius cut me off, saying they couldn't repair my notebook - it was a "vintage" (2009) model. When I pointed out that I had been told two visits ago that it would not reach that status until mid-July, today's genius insisted the previous genius had been mistaken. When I showed little enthusiasm for his fake happy-talk and instead gathered my things to leave, he quickly ended the conversation, dropped the cheerful facade, and found something of apparently great importance that needed attending to on his tablet. I have been an Apple customer for years - no, decades. The quality of Apple's products is unparalleled. Quality customer service? Nope - not in my experience. read more
