Poor customer service and just left me hanging on the phone for a hour. I paid for my business cards ahead of time for this ?

I have been doing business with you 18 years, and have really never had a bad experience until today. I used to have a brother printer. It broke. I was under deadline. I went to the store and told the sales guy I wanted another brother, as I had bought the 2 pack of toner and still had 1 unused. He didn't have that in stock and so he told me I could just return the unused toner. Today, I went into buy a new toner for the new HP printer I bought from you guys) and "Jordan" was completely unhelpful and said if it more than 2 weeks old there is nothing I can do for you. The non-caring manager offered me $2.00. What I've gained from this experience, is don't trust the word of your sales associates, and your employee and manager clearly don't care about 18 years relationships. read more

How do large chain stores maintain some locations that cultivate positive, helpful, solid employees? This doesn't happen terribly often. The Chase bank downtown on Water is quasi-famous for its cheery crew of smiling young professionals. This Office Depot location shall be hallowed in the halls of unexpected positive customer service experiences until the eventual heat death of The Universe. I've been to this spot many times. I basically go for Office Depot things I need quickly. Every single time, the employees offer their help in a very non-annoying, seemingly authentic, way. It's as if they actually run the place & care whether or not you have a good experience. They say hi, they let you know that they can point you wherever you need to go, & they walk you to different spots if they have multiple locations for your desired product. I've had an employee check on me while I perused the options on data storage only to guide me to a different spot with a display case of devices sold at huge discount. Thanks for the help; I'd love to save money. This place has never been crowded during my visits. The service, always 100% great. Sometimes they might not have the best or brightest in gear, but that is the fault of the faceless Office Depot overlords. It's a great spot to fill your Office Depot type needs. Thumbs up & a wink to you O.D. Sorry I winked. Call me. read more

Not even half a star. I'm at 2nd Office Depot this morning trying to get a 24x36 laminate. Impossible to do. The Office Depot in brown deer said they don't do it which I know is a lie. Drove to 124 and burleigh and still can't get it done. I'm going to CAS cuz this place is trash. read more

I regularly order from Office Depot with my business account. I'm consistently being sent things that are "close" to what I've ordered, but very rarely is it the exact item. Highly frustrating when you're attempting to pick out items that relate to Breast Cancer Awareness. Also- DO NOT EVER USE THE OFFICEDEPOT.COM CHAT TO PLACE AN ORDER. They will screw it up SUPREMELY, and then say there's nothing they can do to fix it. I had to sit on the phone with customer service for nearly an hour until I exploded on the phone and got a manager. read more

You know what? I don't mind going here. In most cases, I cannot stand setting foot inside of big box office supply stores. I dread the thought of it, the bright florescent lights, adult contemporary music, the lurking employees... This Office Depot? Yeah, okay. They do have florescent lights and adult jams. But - It's great. The employees don't seem to mind answering questions or showing you where things are. It's always pretty well-stocked, and if they don't have something you need, they can tell you when they'll have it in. Also, they have a copy-shop in back, complete with a fax machine, for all your 80's paperwork that still needs to be sent in. read more

I have been here a few times and always find what I need. The staff is super friendly right from the time you walk into the door. They will even take your right to what you are looking for which saves the hassle of just blindly walking around the store looking for the items I need. Very large selection. I usually buy paper and label tape here. They also have clearance items in the back of the store. The store seems to be kept clean and organized. The prices on some items are a little higher than say a Wal-mart, but it is a lot faster to find what you need here. read more

Y'know how you need something in a pinch, & the places you usually go are closed early on weekends? I called Office Depot for some printing services in a pinch, & sent the items over to be printed - less than an hour later they were done. Even though they were getting ready to close, the staff was helpful & cheery. Missy back in the printing services station was a bright spot; she was very kind & we chatted like pals while she finished my order. It's great to see that this location has so many good reviews; they're definitely well deserved. read more

This location is not in the best neighborhood...AKA I'm not aloud to come here after dark, I park in the front row making sure there's no valuables in my car, and I have mace in my pocket ready to be used. Hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, the store itself isn't bad at all. I've gone a few times for a variety of things I need and the customer service has always been great. There's a good amount of staff on the floor to help you, and they always go above and beyond by trying to find what you need or looking it up to see what other stores carry it. The store is clean and well organized with fair prices. If you're not from the area, just be smart and use your head when it comes to safety! read more

I placed an online print order and waited for the order patiently. 4.5 hrs later I called the store to find out if it was done. The lady who answered said she would look into it and call me back. She never did. I called back and got someone else who told me to call the online service. I called the online service who said to call the store. I called back to the store to speak with a manager who couldn't offer up any solution. My project is sitting somewhere in cyberville and I have to wing a presentation tomorrow. read more
