I was surprised to know that the former device stays, in September 2024 I took the phone home with me to make sure all items transferred successfully, I like not having to take the device and bring it back to the store. Jose explained the savings in service due to the upgrade. I needed a new phone a couple of months back so I went to this location because of it's ratings on yelp. The staff was very nice and "helpful". I picked out my phone and asked a lot of questions about monthly payments to help me decide which phone to upgrade to. As I was going through the purchasing process I was excited when they told me I had a $500 credit on my account that I could use toward accessories such ear buds, phone case, cords etc... so I picked some items out since this was a "credit". I was informed that the first phone bill would be higher than the normal monthly payments which I understood. Unfortunately my payments stayed the same. My monthly payment for one line ended up being over $160. When I called AT&T (not the store) to see why my payments haven't changed they told me it's because of the accessories I put on my account. I was scammed! Beware of this location or anyone at AT&T who tells you that there is a credit on your account. I paid off my phone and am switching my service. read more

The original sales person took complete advantage of me Lied about the free ear buds if I sign up today. When I saw the bill I went back and the would not help me. He sold me insurance that I said I did not want. They gave me a credit that is only half of what I was over charged for. Terrible experience. I have cancer and am getting chemo and it was hard keeping up with the fast talking sales person. The worst part and it still bothers me is they knew I was billed for insurance $15.00 for months and still would not help me. When this phone is paid off I'm switching to another carrier I will say the phone service is the best! When nobody else's phones are getting reception my always works great. So far this is the only AT&T store I've ever been to, and I've been to many, where the workers know what they need to know. There's always a high turnover in these sorts of places, so I hesitate to even mention a name but Jazmin is excellent in four languages. Well she's excellent in English and Spanish, and seems to understand enough Catalan and Italian to help but since I don't know either of those languages I'm not sure if she's excellent in them. Her people skills added to her tech skills mean by the time you're reading this she's either already been poached by a better paying employer in international business or the travel industry, or there is something dreadfully wrong in the recruiting and hiring practices of American employers. If you're getting a new phone or an upgrade, remember everything takes longer than you think. Although the workers are excellent, any part of AT&T can't deserve more than three stars because the corporation is so evil. They are still a monopoly for high speed Internet in my neighborhood and they still throttle our speed when busy. Oligopolies are never good for consumers. Whatever services you're interested in, pay attention closely to your options and go in realizing you're going to overpay one way or another. read more
