The staff is professional, extremely friendly, and genuinely attentive. They remember my preferences and little details about what I like, and that means a lot to me. It's nice to walk into a place where people know you, remember you, and treat you with respect. I also want to clear up something about any previous reviews that may have been posted on my behalf. If there are reviews under my name that were negative, those were written by someone who was acting on my behalf at the time. I want to make it clear that she did not receive bad service from Quality Optical. The issue was actually her behavior toward the staff. She was the one who was rude and disrespectful. I have been dealing with Quality Optical for years, and that one situation does not reflect my personal experience with them or how I feel about their staff. Great Experience, highly recommend…read more My experience was so much more than just vision testing and buying glasses...the focus was really monitoring and maximizing health and making life more enjoyable. Dr. Mike took the time to understand my work environment and outdoor lifestyle, and provided vision options that would work best for both work and play. There are a lot of new options in optics of which I wasn't aware. He thoroughly explained the reasoning and results for each test, and answered all my questions. I learned so much more than I knew just going in. New equipment was nice too (no need for dilation or that darn "puff" test!). His assistant Nancy seems to have a talent for picking the most flattering frames right away. I tried a dozen different frames but ended up coming back to her first recommendation. Prices were great, too...got a top brand at a very competitive price. Follow-up: a few months later, I can't believe what a huge difference my new glasses make. I didn't realize how much I was struggling with less than optimal vision at work. Went back and bought a second "back-up" pair in case I lose the first pair while bouncing around in the wind and the waves, or forget them at home. The receptionist was VERY nice, and asked me to bring them in, and they would check them out. I left them there, and a few hours later, I got a call, telling me they indeed were able to repair them. I came in, they had me sit to get 're-fitted'. A little touch up here and there, and they were perfect! Yea!! The kicker?? They repaired them *perfectly* for No Charge! However, the lab they use to put in the prescription lenses is terrible. I had a very special, unique frame that I only wanted lenses for. This lab was careless and broke my frames! I did not find out about this until two weeks after my eye appointment. So I was forced to buy new frames. I did get the new lenses free and a reduced price on the frames due to the lab's error. However another two weeks have passed and I still do not have my new glasses (after a "rush" was put on it) and I am still stuck wearing my computer glasses. I am not sure if I will be going back there.
