You just cannot beat the service that Apple provides. In all the times I've ever visited this location, I've enjoyed the most professional, courteous customer service, and for how busy they always are, it's alway been in a very timely fashion. There have been times I've walked in with questions, and times I've made appointments prior to, and each time I've left satisfied. Apple products are the bomb, and their employees are super friendly and knowledgable. What I would recommend to all is that unless you are a super savvy techy who can build computers and fix your iPhone with parts yourself, you need to get Apple Care. I've had the screen replaced twice and the phone replaced once, which would have cost me literally over $1,000 (I have the 64gb) and replacing the screen costs $150 (I just had it done today), for $99 it is worth what it will save you in a headache. :) read more

Had some issues with a newer iPhone. Made and appointment at 12:10, I got there a little early and they were able to see me right away. JJ was very easy to work with and was able to confirm the problem and set up the repair. I came back 1.5 hours later and the phone was ready to go. A few hours later the phone was having the same issue. Went back and Ian was able to help me right away. He confirmed the problem still existed and helped me set up the new phone since mine was still under warranty. Ian made sure everything was just like I wanted it and never lost his patience with me. I'm grateful he was able to get my phone back up and running very quickly. I would definitely recommend the Bayshore location and Ian and JJ as great people to work with, very kind, listened to my issues and offered solutions right away. My second poor interaction with Apple inside of a year. The first was with my constantly rebooting phone. It took an online chat/diagnostic and several trips to the Apple Store trying one thing after another before they relented and replaced the phone. And the phone was covered by AppleCare. The second was a brand new iPad which I took to the Apple Store to purchase AppleCare, something Apple advertises can be done. The employee and Manager denied my request, citing a date mismatch with the online reseller (a very reputable one) which put the purchase out of range to qualify for AppleCare. Despite my receipt proving the purchase occurred less than a week ago. Now, it was obvious that the reseller made an error. Apple says it is my problem to fix. I will try and resolve it there and try again with Apple. My main peeve is with Apple as a premium provider of hardware and software. There is no empowerment of management (who was nice) to make things right when something minor jumps the rails. When it is so evident that a reseller of their products made an error. As much as I spend on Apple products for myself and my family, I expect that a clerical error can be waived. I did not receive that level of care. My impression of Apple is that the company is losing ground. It's primary mission is to extract as much money as possible, as often as possible. As a consequence, I'm diversifying. I bought into Sonos for sound. I bought into Amazon for streaming services. I don't see that slowing down. read more

I'm conflicted about this review because the repair for which I went in was done and I am happy about that, and the woman at the genius bar spent a fair amount of time with me. The downside is that, I had to go back because the place for which my computer was sent for repairs installed an OLD operating system onto my MacBook Pro (nowhere in the request was the operating system needing repair) so when I went to open my computer, needless to say NOTHING worked, I lost all of my uploaded fonts and applications and I got the 'there are two kinds of people: those who have lost data and those who WILL lose data' speech, and while I understand the importance of backing up info before repairs (I DID do that) that 'mantra' seems a bit condescending for people who rely on the Apple employees to get the computer back to them in better shape than they left it. I have also lost photos because the old operating system (that they uploaded) didn't support the the new photos app that I had so I now have four years of photos I'm trying to recoup from an old Time Machine backup. There's no straightforward place to report this frustrating experience because everyone says 'we're not responsible for damages, losses, etc) and I guess I'd like for SOMEONE to recognize the epic blunder of uploading an OLD OPERATING system (that seems like an epic and unnecessary error) and perhaps offer to compensate or otherwise take responsibility for it. I will most likely have to go to them again if I need repairs but you can BET I will be VERY hesitant to let it out of my sight. The Apple Store in Glendale WI has a high volume of customers they help each day. If you come in for a repair or Genius Bar, it is better to schedule an appointment. If you do not have an appointment, it is possible that the waiting period for someone can range from 5 minutes to over an hour depending on store traffic. The Apple Store is easy to find with the light up logo and big glass windows. If it is a busy day, please head to the middle of the store where an Apple Representative will be able to check you in for the next available person to help you with your inquiries. If you do need help at the Genius Bar, please check your items Apple Care coverage. Apple Care could mean the difference between paying money to fix an expensive item or easily getting it replaced for free because Apple Care covered your cost. The Genius Bar people will be able to diagnose your problem for free, but if there is any replacement involved with your item and you do not have Apple Care or Apple Care is invalid due to water damage, or third party repairs and installations, then you will need to pay for the repair upfront. Some repairs can be done in the store the same day, others like mac book repairs requiring sending the device into their technicians. If that happens, you could be without a device for a while. (apparently you may not browse without getting past the door monitor) When it was my turn, I asked if I could look before I buy. Door monitor seemed miffed but allowed me to look without assigning someone to shadow me. The sales person that eventually helped me was lovely. I made my choice and was ready to pull out my credit card for an over $2,000 purchase when she told me it would take up to 48 hours to transfer data from my old computer to the new one. The best apple store I have ever been to!!! I have been to this location many times, and EVERY single person i have interacted with have been so nice and helpful! They don't make you feel like an inconvenience they really seem happy to help you! After countless of horrible experiences at the Mayfair location I really considered switching from Apple to anything else. I really feel like Mayfair's apple store tries to nickel and dime you- a while ago after my new iphone had stopped working they told me I'd have to just buy a new one and the warranty did not cover... it even though there was no damage on the phone. If that did not suck enough, they lady was beyond rude and extremely unprofessional. I left the store extremely unhappy... more because the way I was treated. I ended up taking my phone to the bayshore location to give it a try. They said the warranty for sure covered the issue and got me a new phone, no hassle all smiles! They where all so nice and helpful, really great customer service! Since that time until now all together, I have purchased the aniPhone 5, a Mac book, an iPad and also upgraded my business computer to a Mac. Just because of the bayshore town center store I stuck with apple! The last visit I had a few weeks ago, my MacBook charger had stopped working the night before my vacation. There isn't anything too special with this Apple Store. I've purchased many items at this store on numerous occasions and it seems as though a new face is always there to help me. The Apple Store is staffed just right, never had to wait a second for assistance, and the staff is always willing to help you with your Apple store issues/needs. We live in a world full of bad customer service. This is one of those places were I have never experienced bad service. Upon walking in, you are greeted by a person who either makes an appointment for you to be seen by someone at the Genius Bar or helps you right there on spot if you are purchasing through their mobile purchasing devices (it is Apple after all). The minimalist, white, clean look of the store is impressive and easy to find what you are looking for. The Genius bar is great because the girls and guys working there really like their job (or so it seems) and they also really know their sh*t. Well as upset as I am every time I go here because something broke or isn't working right, this store actually treats its customers really well. First off if you have one of the first appointments of the day they have two employees checking people in outside before the store even opens so they can get started right away. The technicians are very nice and considerate and always in a good mood no matter what type of customer they were just with. I recently lost everything because whoever I talked to on the phone at apple care had me do the wrong thing and didn't take notes about our 45min phone call. The manager at this store apologized deeply and said they would report the problem and that they dropped the ball. He also gave me a brand new version of office on the house so I could get started on my finals right away. He didn't need to do that by any means but I really appreciated it. First off, I work in a retail environment where service is considered EVERYTHING. I would say I am exceedingly picky about the service I get when I'm out, because I know how far out of my way I go for my customers. In other words, because of the service I give in order to earn my money, I have really high expectations for the service I receive where I spend it. I recently shattered my iPod Touch screen and was told repeatedly by friends that water and screen damage were the two things that Apple wouldn't cover since they are, for the most part, the result of owner carelessness. Because of this, I wasn't very optimistic about what I was going to hear when I took it in to have it looked at. I was having a hardware problem with my 27" iMac. I brought my computer in and met with an incredibly knowledgeable and helpful employee at the Genius Bar. After a few tests he knew that the memory card had to be replaced. To my delight, the repair was FREE despite my iMac being out of warranty since it was a known issue (not to me) for others with the same iMac model. I am so impressed with the honesty and that Apple stood by their fantastic product. The repair was done quicker than expected and an employee offered to carry my heavy computer to my car for me. Worst experience been at store for over two and a half hours, was very clear with employees that I'm traveling at 6 am next day and my phone is not working. The phone clearly has documented issues yet they refused to replace. I purchased apple care plus they are still refusing. Store manager gets extremely agitated and verbal with me in front of other customers. Chris Dansby is the supposed manager of the store. He is extremely volatile and when I called him out on his behavior he pretended that he wasn't being rude. Other customers saw this and were commenting on his attitude and interaction with me. I visited this store after calling apple tech via there website contact form, they were helpful and they somehow ran a 'diagnostics' on my phone and came to the conclusion that my battery was not up to par (it dies every few hours regardless of charge)... and that it qualified for a battery replacement that they were offering. i set up an appointment to get it replaced at this store, as she recommended i do. drove all the way there to find out that 'they stopped replacing batteries today'?? and that i could come back the next day and they would reserve a battery for me so it could be replaced. came in the next day, dropped it off and they said it would take 2 hours!? - 2 hours later at this hectic mall, i come in and they claim they can't fix it now? they literally told me they couldn't touch my phone or open or replace anything all of a sudden?? we wasted all afternoon when you could have just contacted my partners phone number to let us know this? i will never be back to this store - they have no care or empathy for people let alone their 'customers', they offer computer/robot like responses and coyly grin at you like it's cute or funny that you have a problem with a battery/phone they have provided? it's a bummer seeing their 'employees', who are likely awesome humans, being brainwashed in to being a heartless drone and offering inconsiderate/contradictory responses for this horrible corporation... a quick google and you realize so many other more affordable options better than apple for 'phones' or anything, i can't encourage it enough - i realize this now. thanks apple and apple bayshore mall for opening my eyes. apple's going downhill... read more

I understand that because of COVID stores need to implement guidelines on store capacity. However, my experience today at the Apple Store in Bayshore exceeded this. When my mother and I arrived at the store, the security guard at the door told us that we had to wait outside because "They're limiting how many people can enter the store". Keep in mind, there were two customers in the store, with the rest being employees. My mother and I wait outside in the snow, until the security guard here's my mother's complaint about our circumstance and beckons an employee over. We were then allowed into the store BEFORE anyone left out before us (but I thought only a certain number of people were allowed in the store?). When we meet the employee, she does not acknowledge that we were waiting in the snow, and when my mother expresses her dissatisfaction, we were met with a forced smile, mediocre excuse, and "I'm sorry to hear that". Before we left, I nicely explained that from a customer service standpoint, it's not really a good look for customers to be standing out in in-climate weather, and truly takes away from the customer service experience. I, again, was met with being cut off with a condescending smile and the classics customer service voice. My mother and I left without feeling like our concerns were heard or truly considered, and will be sure to make a phone call along with writing this review. I'd say, until this pandemic improves, doing expect much in terms of customer service at this Apple Store location! read more

I can't believe the other reviews of great service! I was never "greeted" by anyone. In fact, I walked by 3 or 4 staff members doing nothing on my way in. Shirt and tie, wallet in hand, and it was like I didn't exist. I'm in my 40's and I thought that meant I was in the high-disposable income demographic, not the "too un-cool to talk to" crowd. I went in to buy an iPad literally because my wife just wants one. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but the staffer was so snotty, insulting and argumentative that I finally just walked out. They couldn't believe that I wouldn't want one myself or already know all about them. Not only will I never be back, I'll never go back to a Mac store. Totally ridiculous, to the point of where you can't give away your money. I'll stick to shopping online and skipping the attitude from college kids in ripped jeans. read more

It's been 3 days that my computer has been there and it hasn't even been touched yet! I now leave for school that is 5 hours away. How exactly am I supposed to do school work without a computer??? I would understand if it was being looked at and be problem was just taking a while to get fixed but not I am without a computer which is how I communicate with all of my professors, volunteer coordinators and lab TAs for who knows how long.
