We had previously been turned away by another groomer who said he was "too aggressive," so we were understandably nervous going into this appointment. Alyssa took the time to talk with us, reassured us that she could handle him, and wow...she absolutely delivered. Cupid did AMAZING with her. He was calm, happy, and clearly comfortable in her care. When we picked him up, not only did he look incredible, but he felt unbelievably soft, smelled great, and most importantly he was back to his normal, happy self. It was such a relief after struggling to find the right groomer for him. Elyssa is patient, confident, and truly skilled at what she does. If you have a dog that's a little anxious, reactive, or just needs someone who really knows how to handle them, she's your person. We're beyond grateful we found her and will absolutely be coming back

Upon arrival, I asked whether any accommodation could be offered due to the delay. The response I received felt dismissive and the interaction quickly became unprofessional. Rachel initially stated that being late was not a significant issue because her shift had just started and she was coming from Georgetown. Later, a different explanation involving traffic was provided. The inconsistent communication and tone made the situation frustrating and uncomfortable. While waiting, my puppy had still not been checked in, so I contacted the salon's customer service line to ask about my grooming package. Management listened to my concerns, apologized for the experience, and offered discounts as well as complimentary grooming services to help resolve the issue. I appreciated their efforts to address the situation professionally. Unfortunately, Rachel did not apologize for the delay or proceed with my puppy's grooming appointment. As a result, management advised me to submit formal feedback regarding the experience. My concern is not that delays occasionally happen, but rather how the situation was handled. Clear communication, professionalism, and respectful customer service are important, and I hope this feedback helps improve future customer experiences.

They only have one person who works with cats. And that person is always fully booked working on dogs. So, you must catch her when she can work your cat in between her dog appointments. This means not only do you have to call to find out if she's working, but you also need to find out during her work hours, after talking to her, when she thinks she can fit your cat in on that day! You cannot schedule in advance. You are at the mercy of her dog grooming schedule. Why do they advertise walk-in availability for cats if that is not true? Other locations have given up on cat services and just focus on dogs. It seems like this location is barely trying to service felines.

I also really enjoy how spacious and organized this location is. Even with how many amazing things are inside there's still so much room to comfortably walk the aisles. It was also very clean and didn't have a strong odor which I find to be common in pet stores. We watched a dog trainer with a pup for a short while and she was so sweet and interactive with both the dog and my son watching through the window. My dog is 6 years old now (as of tomorrow) so I'm not in the market for dog training but I'd definitely recommend them to anyone else!

However, over the past year I've experienced repeated price increases for grooming two dogs under 20 pounds, totaling about $250 including tips. Each increase came with a different explanation--inflation, weekend pricing, or being busy--which felt excessive. At this point, it feels less about rising costs and more about the owner being greedy with pricing. This is disappointing because the groomers themselves do excellent work, but the constant increases have made it unaffordable for me. I can find other groomers who charge around $180 including tips on a Saturday. So long, good people of Mutz & Kutz.

We love Betty!! I spent the first year of my dogs life grooming him myself...it was an ordeal every…read moretime. The process would take 3 hours and I'd split it into multiple days because neither him nor I could do a full 3 hour session at once. I said all that to say that I wish I would've gone to Betty sooner! I got my dog Beast in 2022 and for some reason it was really hard to find a groomer--no one was taking on new clients. I scheduled my appointment online with Wholesome Doodle, answered a few questions and uploaded a few pics of what I wanted Beast's cut to look like. I was able to get aN appointment fairly quickly. Upon meeting Betty, she felt around for mats and helped me come up with a mat that would be best for Beast. Unfortunately, we had to shave him down pretty low during his first grooming appointment, but that was no one's fault but my own. Things got In the way and I didn't brush him as regularly as I should've and many mats formed. Following the appointment she provided us with a folder with care and maintenance tips for his coat. Betty is highly experienced and will explain everything going into the appointment. She does great with Beast and I recommend her to everyone!
