Mutz & Kutz Grooming - Toy Poodle - Pet Groomers Near Me - Georgetown, Texas

Mutz & Kutz Grooming has great groomers who are professional and clearly care about dogs. I've always been happy with the quality of their work, and the staff truly deserve appreciation and good tips. However, over the past year I've experienced repeated price increases for grooming two dogs under 20 pounds, totaling about $250 including tips. Each increase came with a different explanation--inflation, weekend pricing, or being busy--which felt excessive. At this point, it feels less about rising costs and more about the owner being greedy with pricing. This is disappointing because the groomers themselves do excellent work, but the constant increases have made it unaffordable for me. I can find other groomers who charge around $180 including tips on a Saturday. So long, good people of Mutz & Kutz. read more

My dog always happy coming out of business. Shes always little nervous going in but definitely a happy dog leaving

Really great locally owned dog groomer in Georgetown. They are fast, attentive and friendly. Their prices are also super affordable, honestly the most competitive I have seen. I have two very temperamental chihuahuas who do not like their nails cut - and another chihuahua that impatiently tolerates it - and the groomer did a great job navigating through all their personalities. They even rewarded my girl Luna with a bandana for being such a good girl while her nails got trimmed! It is the cutest bandana - we still have it as well so we can use in the future! I also got their teeth brushed. The groomer uses an enzyme based tooth paste formula which helps distribute the paste throughout your pets mouth even if a spot was not brushed or missed so I liked that! Do make note - if you don't pay by cash their is a 3% credit card fee. This is the only reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 - it's a little inconvenient as I don't really carry cash on me. read more

If there was a zero I'd give that! After calling 3 different times and couldn't get my dog in because of my husband's schedule with his chemotherapy, I take my dog in today. I was told every time I called the charge would be $45-65 dollars. Upon arrival today to pick my dog up, I'm told $95!!!!! I said I cannot pay that and I would've never brought her in if I'd been quoted that amount. My Cavalier is taken extremely good care of! I explained to the groomer that I wanted her feather's trimmed 1/2 inch on her legs and skirt. That is all! I pay and then they bring her out and ALL OF HER FEATHERING IS CUT OFF, her ears are cut!!! I specifically said nothing off her ears, chest or tail! She looks awful and a has been cut all over!!! The girl behind the counter with glasses and long dark hair is rude above rude!!! I told them I got my dog groomed cheaper in Orange County County California where we just moved back from to be with family due to my husband's terminal cancer diagnosis. She was rude once again in her attitude and demeanor with me. God Bless people who take advantage of people and don't do what they say they will in reference to my quotes. She had the audacity to tell me their quotes are made note of-right?! I'm sure you take the time to write every person that calls name and phone number and a running list of quotes of that said person. I informed her of my age and that I've never been a liar and didn't need to start lying today. Yes, her hair will grow back in about 4/6 months but it's the principle of the matter. read more

Went in for a quick nail trim/grinding and that's what it was. I love it when businesses just do what they say!

We just had Robert who is one of the mobile service groomers from Mutz & Kutz come and groom our 3 dogs including our Shih Tzu who has a pretty technical and complicated cut. He did an absolutely fabulous job and most importantly, our dogs very obviously felt safe with him. They were happy after their cut, not scared and shivering. If you have a small dog you know how difficult this is to find. We will be using them from now on and asking for Robert, he's wonderful. read more

We just moved to the area and needed to find a new groomer for our 25# terrier mutt. Part of us wanted to keep making the drive from Florence to our old groomer in Pflugerville, but we decided to give Mutz & Kutz a try. They were fantastic. She looks perfect!! They were friendly and there was a very sweet kid who was so excited to bring her out to us. It is such a relief to find a great local groomer! read more

They did a great job with our old, sometimes cranky, dog that had LOTS of mats in his fur. As such, he got a buzz cut. I look forward to his next grooming appointment where the can be some choices about length and style. read more

Being right before the holidays, I wanted to make sure I was able to get my pup in for a nail trim. I typically go to PetSmart to do that since it is walkins, but went in to PetSmart and they were closed early due to short staff. The day, called PetSmart twice and couldn't get anyone on the phone to schedule the nail appointment. I called Mutz&kutz and they picked up right away, I was able to walk in to an extremely clean store with friendly staff and was able to get my dogs nails done in under 5 minutes. highly recommend!!!! read more

I have a regular groomer across town that we love, but have found Mutz & Cuts to be superb as a backup on short notice and weekends for nail trims that we've needed in-between grooms. Great place and friendly people. They treat your pet as if it were one of their own. Even during the pandemic they made things happen. We've been bringing our dogs to Mutz and Kurtz for years. We have three feisty pups, and Beth and her team are all fantastic. All three of my dogs are messes. I can't trim their nails myself, as they FREAK OUT, and one of them hates water with a passion so bath time is not fun. You know you're in good hands when your dogs--who hate baths and nail trims--charge into the groomer without trepidation! read more

Had a great first time experience here. Super friendly staff. I have 2 boxers that are a bit excitable. They cared for them and did such a great job. They got their teeth brushed, bath, brush, nail grind, and ears cleaned. Price is very reasonable. Don't forget though it's important to tip your groomer. They work hard. I think you can tell if a place is wrong for your puppies but this place is amazing! Cooper and Ella will be back. read more

Mutz & Kutz Grooming - Valentine Day cut! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Georgetown, Texas

I have been going to them for years I have a small poodle but they cut the hair pretty good for the most part. Their new locations terrible though there is no parking and that part of town sucks in general. Move back to the old part of town with the non reptilian residents. Over all they do a good job on a small poodle prices reasonable people have always been friendly and pretty easy to make an appointment. However you did mess hair up pretty badly one time I think you were letting the noob practice on her Instead of a toy poodle she come out looking like a baby labador, so you only get 4 stars not 5 today. read more

Just moved to the Georgetown area and was happy to find this groomer so close to home, upon arrival I liked the place and the groomer seemed very nice. I thought I explained what I wanted for my mini schnauzer, however I was told afterwards that there may have been a miscommunication between myself & the groomer. My mini schnauzer no longer looked like a schnauzer. I was extremely upset and it has taken me over a week to write this review. Needless to say I most likely will look for a new groomer because I will not return. My beautiful mini schnauzer had her skirt & fluffy leg areas shaved off completely. I gave the groomer a tip of $20 before I even saw her.. if I had I wouldn't have left a tip at all. My bad.. will never do that again. I know her hair will grow back.. but I have taken great pride in how pretty she always looked after a grooming and she looked nothing like a schnauzer which was so upsetting. I picked this place for the close proximity and because I saw great reviews. If anyone has a schnauzer and wants to take their baby to this place.. beware on how you explain what you want done. Explain in detail you want a mini schnauzer cut.. I mean really! The total cost of this fiasco with the $20 tip (regretfully) was $136!!! I mean I could've shaved all her hair off myself for $0. I still love my baby.. but will now have to wait months until she will actually look like a schnauzer again. :( read more

Love, love, love mutz & kutz! Devan took our dogs under her wing when we moved here and couldn't be happier! We were so nervous to find a new groomer for our three dogs. They can be a handful and they all have specific grooming concerns. She has made us feel so grateful to have found her and this location to trust with our dogs! I don't have to worry about them while they are there or what they will look like when I pick them up. She always does an incredible job. Couldn't speak more highly. My brother recommended Mutz & Kutz. I always got my dog's nails done at the vet's office. Boy, what a wonderful experience! I called and they said I didn't need an appointment so I went right over. My dog's nails were LONG (a rescue and neglected). They cut them and FILED them. The vet never did that and he charged more. Even my dog was happy. He lifted his paw for them to shake. That is one happy dog. I'll never go anywhere else now. Their prices are great. Everyone was super nice. read more
