I bring my Cavapoo, Layla, every six weeks, and Jenna treats her exactly how I would -- with patience, care, and real skill. She checks cuticle length before trimming nails so she doesn't hurt sensitive paws, uses the appropriate products when Layla has dry or irritated skin, and always thoroughly dries the inside of her ears (we've had ear issues in the past, and this attention matters). The environment is calm and low-stress, which is huge -- Layla used to get overwhelmed at other grooming shops. Every time I pick her up, Layla is happy, clean, silky, and smells wonderful. The cuts are consistently beautiful and never rushed or uneven. Prices are very reasonable for the level of care and professionalism. Layla and I absolutely adore Jenna, and we'll be loyal clients for as long as possible. Highly recommend!

I have fretted and fretted over whether I should write this review, but then one of my daughters…read moresaid " the next dog that gets hurt is on you mom". I have 2 tiny 3 lb dogs that Brooke groomed several times. One of them will sit and let you do anything to her. While the other is completely horrible at the groomers. I admit this right off the top. Several times I asked Brooke if she wanted me to give her something to calm her, oh no, she said, no problem. Well, the LAST time she came I handed her two perfectly adorable 3 lb dogs, and she returned one with a broken jaw that wouldn't close, blood flowing from her mouth all over the front porch, and every tooth in her mouth falling to the ground. I went into such shock, that I actually handed her a check AND SHE TOOK IT!!! She began to tell me she had no idea how it happened and ran off like her pants were on fire. It was on a Friday evening, so after going to 3 emergency vets, that all told me to put her down, I asked to please just get pain meds for the weekend. On Monday I found a surgeon, he had to put her in a coma for 2 days because he wouldn't do surgery with HER this traumatized. Brooke started texting me that this breed of dogs commonly loses their teeth, which is true, but not with their jaw broken in 2 places and all at once. My vet wrote to the ins agent that this was caused by severe trauma to the jaw, like yanking it or squeezing it. I sent him the pictures of her. And he wanted to do whatever it took. She now has no bottom jaw and it's a pain in my rear also, Cz I have to buy special food then chop it till it's almost liquid. For the first 3 months after the surgery I had to feed her 13 different things three times a day through a tube in her neck. But, like her fabulous hero doctor told me, she is young and has lots of life to live and since she's a dog, she will figure out a way to eat. And she has. But it is a huge struggle for her. Her food gets all over her face because she has to put her whole head in it. So now no one wants to touch her. NOT ONCE HAS BROOKE CALLED TO ASK HOW BRINKLEE IS MAKING IT!!!!! Or to say I'm sorry I completely deformed your gorgeous little dog. Silly me, I thought she and I were friends. I hope she's gotten some help for her anger problems and I pray she never hurts another animal. Everyone that hears this story tells me I have to report her, but I struggle with that, knowing she has kids and needs to make a living. ???!!!

He…read moreis 6 years old, 47 lbs, and has always been absolutely defiant when it comes to even touching his paws. His nails were getting pretty long, and the hair between his toes had grown out. I knew I needed to address this, but I was deathly afraid of traumatizing him. That's when I found FurReal groomers, less than 5 minutes away from my house. Aubrey was able to get me in right away. I dropped off my dog, and about 2 hours later she called me back to let him know that he was ready to be picked up. When I arrived back, Aubrey walked him out. He was sporting a bandana, a bowtie, and the most manicured paws I had seen on him since he had been anesthetized for his last teeth cleaning! She told me that he was not happy about having his nails clipped, but she still managed to get it done and was willing to work with him again in the future. The best part: even though I could tell he was not enthused about having had his feet messed with, he was not shaking or trembling. He had not been traumatized, so my biggest fear was avoided. For that, FurReal Groomers was worth every penny. If you have an anxious, stubborn dog, I truly believe they can work with you too. I will absolutely be patronizing this business again in the near future. Thank you!
