Apex Pool & Spa Renovation designs and manages custom pool projects across the Phoenix Valley.
New pool builds. Gunite and shotcrete pools, pool and spa combos, and spools or cocktail pools for tighter lots. Travertine decking, ramadas, outdoor kitchens, baja shelves and fire features are part of the same plan, not an afterthought.
Pool remodeling. New waterline tile and coping, deck resurfacing, variable-speed pumps, automation, and added water or fire features. Usually 2 to 4 weeks once the tile is on hand.
Pool resurfacing. Drain, prep and chip-out, then a plaster, pebble or quartz interior. Usually 1 to 2 weeks from drain to swim.
Every project starts as a 3D model of your actual yard, so you can raise the spa, widen the deck or swap the tile before anything is committed. We prepare the HOA submittal, coordinate permits and both city inspections, and work to a published schedule that allows for monsoon days and for caliche if your lot has it.
On licensing, plainly: Arizona requires a licensed contractor to build a pool. Apex handles design and project management. The building is done by licensed, bonded and insured Arizona contractors we partner with. Your builder's ROC number is on your written contract, and you can look it up at roc.az.gov before you sign. We would rather you did.

Established in 2012.
We have been building and renovating pools in the Arizona desert since 2012, long enough to know that the schedule is where most projects go wrong. Caliche turns a two-day dig into a week. A monsoon cell closes a shotcrete day with no notice. An HOA board sits on a submittal that should have gone out weeks earlier.
So the company is built around those parts. Your pool is designed in 3D before anything is committed, so decisions get made on a screen instead of in concrete. The HOA package goes out alongside engineering, not after it. The schedule is published, with weather days already in it. At the end you get a written warranty and a direct line that still works after the water is in.
