First of all, the owner is inbelievably nice and so helpful when i needed help, second off, The concept of a racing simulator place is so cool and the experience is even better, I would recommend coming here if you are in the area.

What an amazing experience! It's awesome to see how your driving skills stack up against other drivers on the leaderboards. The simulators are super cool and would be a great place for a couple friends or a party. Loved it!

Fantastic place with top notch equipment and super friendly staff. Thursday night Race Night is a great value.

There's not too much to say other than this being a great idea and an even greater location! Apex One is the first of its kind not only in Westfield, but I believe the entire state. As an avid sim racer, this is the kind of location you would have only dreamed of going to with all your friends. The rigs are all state of the art and carry features that I know would never be accessible to me considering how much they'd cost for the average consumer. Throughout the establishment there are 4 different kinds of rigs you can choose from varying I different levels of motion complexity and style of racing. You can also schedule ahead of time which rig you would like to use and what time you plan on arriving. This allows for you to just show up and climb in with nothing else in between. The staff is very polite and the owner is very involved. Everyone is constantly checking on each customer and making themselves available to answer any questions or even provide some advice for the track or vehicle that's being driven. The location also features a separate conference room that's great for hosting birthday parties and gatherings. For a brand new business that's the first in it's category to the area, Apex One has gone above and beyond and exceeded all expectations.

I'd been to the Digital Press Videogames location in Clifton, which is awesome, and only discovered…read morethis location because my kid spotted it when we happened to drive past it. Vowing to return after our event, I brought two of my kids and one of their friends, and we all geeked out over the selection of vintage and used video games for practically every system released since the advent of the Atari 2600. The staff was super helpful in answering questions about legacy systems. There were plenty of amazing values on games from ColecoVision and original NES through the Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2 and everything in between. The coin-operated arcade games and pinball machines, with a few free options, were also a blast. Digital Press is an absolute treasure.

This I believe is the second location of the two Digital Press Videogame shops, if you're a gamer, you feel at home walking in. There are games and accessories from nearly every generation so if you're a collector and want to lay eyes on what you're looking for as opposed to online, it's a necessity to come here. There are operation arcade machines here from 80's to 90's including a few pinball machines. The counter has employees who of course are gamers and what game store wouldn't be complete without regulars who hang around and talk about games as well. As I browsed around the store I was taken back through all the generations which was a good feeling, knowing that stores like this still exist. I could go on about why DPV is a great store, but I'll go over my experience on my latest visit. I went to unload a few games I had no use for anymore and could not sell them alternatively on C-list and the like so I came here. I got a better amount than I thought both cash and store credit (store credit of course being a bit more). Again, if you're a gamer or someone looking for games from yester-year and want to avoid online, try here.

Tried to support a local retro shop and bought an NES and an N64 on the same visit. Both were sold…read moreas "tested" and "working." Neither was. The NES glitched constantly, and the controller was so messed up that pressing B triggered pause. That's not "retro character," that's a broken controller. The N64 had loose internal parts rattling around inside the console the moment I picked it up. If this was "tested," I'd love to know how -- holding it near a crystal ball? And the wild part? They hit me with a restocking fee like I somehow inconvenienced them by bringing back the busted junk they sold me. A restocking fee... for retro hardware that was never working in the first place. It's like going to a mechanic, they hand you a car without an engine, and then charge you extra for parking it in their lot when you bring it back. Absolutely absurd. And on top of that, the game selection is awful -- shelves of the same common titles, beat-up carts, barely any quality or variety. Prices don't match condition. It's slim pickings, and you're paying premium for junk bin inventory. I returned everything the next day and still got hit with that 15% restocking fee. So I paid for broken hardware, and then I paid extra to give the broken hardware back. Incredible customer experience, truly. If you shop here, test every single item in front of them before walking out -- every button, every port, every cartridge -- because once you're outside, the problem is magically your fault. This was a complete waste of time and money. I won't be returning.
