Remember, a lot of these jobs are from kids starting to work. They aren't corporate officers with $2M 401Ks. Some police skate officer chased me down because you can't wear hats or caps to prevent kids from busting their asses. Makes sense.

The girl at the desk never provided any information about anything. I did not know I needed quarters for the locker rental, nor did I not know I couldn't wear a baseball cap or have a crossbody bag. As soon as I got on the rink, the attendant told me I had to get off because of my hat. I wasn't upset or anything, I quietly skated off, returned my skates and gathered my belongings. As I was exiting I observed men on the skating rink with beanies on their heads and skull caps. Additionally I observed adults walking on the rink as they were helping their children. I did not know that the rink was also a track. I would think that's a bigger safety hazard than wearing a hat. When I went to the front to inquire about a refund there was a gentleman in front of me who had on a hat and I was tempted to say something to him but I also wanted to see if the clerk would remind him of the hat policy, but she didn't. I don't know if the assumption is that everyone who visits are regulars and know the protocol, but it wouldn't hurt to have signage at the front desk and to also remind the attendants to say something to the patrons.

Five stars for this high end bowling place that gives you a run for the money!…read more This place came as a recommendation from our friends and gave an upbeat vibe right away - so well maintained and clean. The staff was kind and courteous and the food was amazing. We got a lane in the private bowling lounge and gave a very private setting feeling. The only downside I found was with the graphics that came on those huge screens - as much as they were outstanding, you can't be having a black screen with fire glowing graphics just when you are to roll your ball to strike down the pins when it's pitch dark and go blind. The parking is humongous and it's wheelchair accessible.

**** Guests Were Pushed, Shoved, Physically Assaulted and Manhandled Without Cause***…read more This review is also in google- verbatim I am extremely disappointed by my experience at this establishment. What should have been a fun night with friends turned into one of the worst and most upsetting experiences we've ever had. The entire situation started over something incredibly minor, one of our friends playfully bowled in the wrong lane as we were all getting ready to leave. Instead of calmly explaining the mistake or asking us to move, the security staff immediately escalated the situation. There was no attempt to de-escalate or communicate respectfully. What happened next was completely unacceptable. Multiple security guards began to physical assault, grope, manhandle and push members of our group out that resulted in them falling to the ground. It didn't matter whether if you were a man or a woman, everyone were treated aggressively despite the fact that no one in our group acted violently or posed a threat. Watching women and men alike being physically pushed around over such a small misunderstanding was shocking and disturbing. To make matters even worse, one of the security guards actually wanted to come outside and fight us. A person whose job is responsible for keeping people safe should never be trying to provoke or challenge customers to a fight. That behavior is completely unprofessional, intimidating, and unacceptable. After everything happened, we asked the manager why the security guard had become so aggressive. She told us it started at the bar, but never offered any meaningful explanation beyond that. Earlier in the evening, my cousin had been told not to vape, and he complied. Shortly afterward, a woman standing beside him began vaping, but instead of paying attention to who was actually doing it, security immediately assumed it was my cousin again without even looking in the other person's direction. From our perspective, it felt like they jumped to conclusions instead of taking a moment to assess what was actually happening. There was a police officer in the area while the everything was happening. (Before the situation started which seemed odd at the moment) We kept asking if his Body Cam was on and he was NOT clearly answering. By the time we were outside we asked him to please call his Sergeant because we still had no idea what we did wrong to be physically assaulted by staff. As if that wasn't enough, more than 10 police officers eventually arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, their presence did little to help. Despite hearing our concerns and seeing how upset everyone was, none of the officers appeared to address our complaints about the way security had handled the situation. We were left feeling like our side of the story wasn't taken seriously after we had been shoved and treated so aggressively. The most frustrating part is that all of this escalated from what should have been simple issues that could have been handled with a calm conversation. Instead, security chose aggression over professionalism, creating an unnecessary confrontation that affected people who had done nothing wrong. Men and women alike were physically pushed and handled in a way that was completely disproportionate to the situation. I sincerely hope management reviews the security camera footage from both the bar area and the bowling lanes, as well as the actions of the security staff involved. Customers deserve to feel safe, not threatened by the very people hired to protect them. Security personnel should be trained to de-escalate situations, verify what actually happened before making accusations, and treat everyone with respect. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment. What should have been an enjoyable night with friends ended with unnecessary aggression, poor management, and an experience that left our entire group feeling unsafe and deeply disappointed. However, we fortunately NOW have a case with NJPD and we will move forward with taking legal actions.
