I went to Pennington golf center with me and 3 members of my family. We all are big fans of mini golfing and this was one of the best mini golf courses we've been to! It was very clean and all the water made it enjoying and nerve racking. It is the perfect difficulty for all ages as we had a 7 year old through age 43. They also had a driving range and it wasn't bad it was very nice. The whole place was very sanitary compared to other places. They keep very nice care of the place. Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend! read more

Got fitted by Rich. Excellent experience, made great suggestions and got a good price on my irons. First class treatment, only agenda was to help me get the right clubs. Highly recommend. read more

Kudos to PGC for being open on a 30-degree mid-winter day for those of us with a "need" to hit balls. Great facility, welcoming staff, new mats and well marked yardage targets. read more

My fiance and I love to play mini golf. We are both so competitive that it's a fun game of both skill and luck. We decided to go here because we had never been here before. It was a great decision picking Pennington Golf center. The staff is very nice, the place is clean and has a nice flow to their mini golf course. There is one 18 hole miniature golf course located here. The course is very well maintained, and the landscaping is spot on. They have the normal waterfalls and ponds, I just wished that water hazards were used some holes. They made very good use of the space that had to work with. The actual mini golf is good, a bit easy, but good for kids. The reason why I am leaving a 4 Star review is because the holes were not challenging enough in my opinion and was lacking creative ideas. I like a putt putt course to have innovative, unique, and whimsical courses through obstacles. This place had some, but nothing overall the top exciting. The cost was very reasonable $8 for adults, $6 for kids, that is the going rate any more for mini golf. They also did a good job keeping everything clean, the used putters go back to a seperate area and there is also a hand sanitizing station. You are required to keep one hole between you and the group in front of you. Overall the environment was fun, but the lack of special design courses left me in the hole of disappointment. I would recommend going for the experience over playing a fun putt putt course. The prices are great, wonderful customer service. read more

Great people! This is the only spot I will be going for all my golf needs. I have done a couple fittings in the past this was the best experience by far. They made me feel comfortable and not rushed. I felt I was able to truly get the clubs perfect for me. Truly awesome staff I will be driving past other places just to go to Pennington in the future. read more

Nice mini golf course and driving range. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She even stayed a little late on July 4th to make up for a miscommunication about their closing time so my family and I could finish a round of mini golf. It's nice to still have some friendly and customer centric small businesses around. I would definitely support them and go back again. The only thing I might recommend is advertising their mini golf better. I have been in the area for over 40 years and only thought they were a driving range when I drove past. It was a really nice course! read more

This used to be an awesome place used to get my clubs regripped here they had an awesome special on happy hour for driving range No more! They are not following most recent cdc guidelines so more will I go there Go to Mercer Oaks where u get ur tax dollars hard at work $4 for a bucket vs $6 and a putting green read more

Great place to get fitted for clubs , ask for Rick! A driving range to hit balls and brings the kids to have fun playing miniature golf!

Went for a golf fitting, and by the time we left, my son lost all confidence that golfing from 3 years old brings. Corey was rude, condescending, unsupportive, and unhelpful, and just got off with his passive-aggressive words. I would not recommend it to anyone. I will contact the golf manufacturers that sent us there. In reference specifically to the fitting, it was just a waste of our time. We would have done better off anywhere else. read more

This is a great place for golf fans, from the casual putt-putter to the hardcore enthusiast. I'm in the latter category and came upon Pennington Golf as part of my quest to 'acquire' my way into a better golf game by replacing my driver and fairway woods. I went to Pennington after a visit to one of the big box golf retailers (rhymes with Wolfwith). If you have been to the big box guys you probably know what I'm talking about - dealing with staff who are pressuring to a sale; having to wait 30 minutes for a hitting bay; then smacking balls into a screen while a pimply-faced youth looks on and asks if you're ready to buy yet. At Pennington buying clubs is truly 'an experience'. First, you can schedule a fitting with Rick. After spending about 15 min hitting balls while being measured by PING's swing tracking system, I was then given some recommendations on clubs and loft to consider given my swing. In this case Rick made a clear case for me to check one of the higher loft drivers, given the path (ie deficiency) in my swing. My bias was towards a PING club, which Rick indulged, while also offering a few different options for comparison's sake. I was then able to test the clubs out at Pennington's range which is spacious, scenic, and also outdoors. No dimly lit hitting bays here! Rick came to check up on me and immediately pointed out some tips for me to consider for improving my swing path. And here is where the Pennington crew really shines - Rick suggested that I hold off on purchasing a driver as he learned that was under the tutelage of the pro at my club. He also suggested that I come back when his PGA pro was on site, mostly to make sure that his club recommendation instincts squared with a true professional of golf swings. It's not often that a purveyor will advise to hold off on making the sale and that's a good example of what sets Rick and Patrice apart - they truly view club purchases as an investment and want us to make an educated decision. I eventually made the purchase of a new PING driver. The loft that was best for me required a special order from the factory. In this case again, Rick and Patrice did not disappoint as they allowed me to take one of their demo heads for use in the interim. That's a level of service you'll never find at one of the big box golf chains. I've purchased 2 more clubs since the driver, with one of these sourced from their demo bin. These present some really great values and they do such a good job taping up their demo clubs that they are generally in mint condition. Pennington is a bit of a local find - I was paired recently with another golfer while playing Princeton CC who also sourced his sticks from Rick and Patrice. It's rare for two strangers to connect on a great customer experience, which just goes to show that good reputation that Pennington has established. If you're in the market to get some clubs I highly recommend starting here as you evaluate options. read more

Very nice and well kept place. Driving range sits up higher above the ground so its actually cool to shoot off of it. mini golf is super clean and well maintained (unlike some other places). I love coming here read more

They have mini-golf just like in Happy Gilmore. They have a driving range which I thoroughly embarrassed myself on. They have a nice little shop where you can rent clubs and balls for a reasonable price. What's not to love? read more

What a great experience getting fitted for new clubs at Pennington Golf Center. A friend had recommended I go there and I was initially reluctant due to the distance from my home and thought that it would be more expensive than one of the chain stores. Rick and Patrice were extremely helpful. Rick was very patient with me while walking me through the differences in the clubs I was trying at their range. The range was very nice and allowed for outdoor testing of the clubs. Patrice helped me pick out a new grip for my putter and installed it while I worked with Rick. Rick not only put me on a set of Irons that are right for me, but he helped correct a few things he saw in my swing while we fit the clubs to my needs. In addition , the prices for the clubs were slightly less expensive than what was being advertised on the chain stores websites! Well worth the drive for the personal service, excellent selection of clubs and good prices! read more

Great family outing! The owners and staff are friendly and helpful and are focused on ensuring the safety of visitors during this pandemic. The mini golf course is very well maintained and has a nice variety of holes. There is also a driving range so you can take out the big sticks and hit away. Definitely a great spot for both activities! read more

My family has been enjoying the pristine mini golf course and wonderful team that works there for many years! Love this place!

Fun times always...tucked away on the south end of town kids always love to play mini golf here and the driving range is pretty decent too!

Well I must say - this place has really turned itself around! The course is great - the greens are green, and each hole is challenging. The scenery is beautiful as well. Looking forward to going back! read more

Terrible, unfriendly management. Please spend your money elsewhere, as the owners of Pennington Golf driving range are not appreciative of their customers. I had an initial bad experience early in the season when I came 30 min. Before closing time and they refused to sell me a basket. Gave it a few more tries- staff was hit or miss- sometimes nice but most surly. Today, I bought a basket of balls for 1/2 price during happy hour. Realized I forgot my glove- drove home and came back. After I got set up, owner came by to scold me for not immediately redeeming my coin. Really?? It was still within happy hour time, on the same day. Shook it off and got a club out. Then, an angry woman came over and began yelling at me for coming back to redeem my coin. At this point, completely uncomfortable, I decided to just pack it in. As I packed my car, the owner came by to yell at me some more! I guess they have a problem with people stocking up on tokens at happy hour. But, I don't like it being taken out on me, and have never been yelled at three times for something so minor. So, unless you like being scolded and turned away, go elsewhere! Off to stony brook for me. :-) read more

Quiet and well-kept driving range with friendly and knowledgeable pro-shop staff.

Good Range but really rude owner !!!! Very inappropriate with the kids. Pulled sticks out of kids hands. We were a group of 20 and bought for everyone , we gave him a lot of business and it was empty ! Yet he kept hovering over all of us and taking sticks away ! Very very rude. Would not recommend and never come back again read more

This is a nice looking, well kept driving range and updated mini put course. Its certainly a decent place to take kids to keep them entertained and the driving range is decent too. However, the mini golf course is very poorly designed, without an optimal line concieved for the put... That means few "finesse" shots and add a lot of luck to this course. read more

We stumbled on Pennington Golf Center when I was looking to buy Ping clubs, and the fitting van was there. What a treasure! Great people, awesome range, and a pristine miniature golf course are why we drive out of our way (and past a couple other ranges) to practice here. Rick and Patrice couldn't be nicer, and take so much time to help you find the exact equipment to fit your needs. You always feel very comfortable with your choice. Even when they could "upsell," they never do-they'd rather have a customer for life than push you into something you don't need. They take all the time that you need to be sure you're getting the right clubs for your swing, and you never feel pressured. LOVE THIS PLACE! read more

I purchased my pings irons, ( golf clubs) from Pennington Golf Center , what a steal !!!! The staff is encouraging ,uplifting and very professional. They patiently let me look around and answered all my questions. The staff is very knowledgeable and have played golf for a no. of years. I had been looking for ping golf irons for 2 years , everywhere I looked ping golf clubs and ping golf irons were over priced. I enjoy very much playing on their golf range , my feet and legs get a comfortable workout . I had been to another golf range in West Windsor and my feet would ache after practice even though I worked out in a very good pair of sneakers. The West Windsor golf range is poorly managed and in dire need of repair. What a shame because I live right around the corner. When I come to Pennington Golf Center to practice , I feel comfortable practicing as long as I want to practice , there is no noise , talking or distractions. Just peace and quiet while I hear ping , ping , ping , ping , ping!!!!!!!! from others enjoying their practice. read more
