There are quite a few memorable holes including 16 and 18. The course is in excellent condition and very close to private course conditions, if you didn't know it was public you may not notice. They just added a new clubhouse which was desperately needed and it is very nice. The course was windy and it is very hilly and seems to be shaped with the natural contours of the land. It is very playable and if you drive well you can score. The greens aren't overly undulating but some of the pubs can be tough to get too. It is very accessible to eastern Pennsylvania and closer then many courses I play in the area. I look forward to getting to know the course better and yesterday I pared the 18th hole which made me very happy , last time 18 won!

The accessibility from the parking lots in Jersey City wasn't great (shuttles) but at least the buses were A/C'd last year (2014 from the regular lots in Paramus they weren't necessarily with A/C on). The facilities have a little bit of a crowded feel to them (there were a lot of people here) and the one big downside, always someone walking around telling people not to take pictures, despite taking pictures of NY being one of the big draws. The course itself had plenty of water (we were right by the Hudson & bay), and it had rained earlier in the week - made for some low scores that people loved to see and cheer for (including the eventual winner Scott).

Began membership for our family under old ownership a few years ago…read more Things have gone way down in the pool area, and restaurant since then. T he pool is in terrible need of resurfacing. Constant foot cuts and bleeding are the norm. The inner basketball court area is in terrible need of a coat of paint. The vast amounts of green space surrounding the pool use to be great for the kids to throw a ball or play games. It's no longer allowed. No in depth pool rules are posted on the website or at the pool facility. And yet lifeguards constantly blow their whistles for the most minor things. Without rules, who knows why or what you can or cannot do. Further the swim managers encourage constant whistles being blown by lifeguards and it makes the entire swim area very, very tense. The restaurant, which has been closed for renovation for many, many months reopened only to offer very standard and uninspired items. And very, very little for non-meat options. This will be our last season with this club, unless management makes the necessary changes, as there are countless great clubs and pools in our area.

She was aggressive in her responses when I asked questions about setup to the point I had to walk away. In addition, her staff rushed us through my booked time at the venue because they had an event after ours. It is unfortunate that the excitement of the day was dampened with such negativity. They shouldn't open up the space for nonmembers if they are going to make us feel unwelcomed.

It was very clean and all the water made it enjoying and nerve racking. It is the perfect difficulty for all ages as we had a 7 year old through age 43. They also had a driving range and it wasn't bad it was very nice. The whole place was very sanitary compared to other places. They keep very nice care of the place. Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend!
