I played this course about 6 years ago and had a good experience, I thought the course was overall pretty nice other than the one guy being rude and busting my balls over not not having a collared shirt lol. But I just played it again and my experience was complete opposite this time. The course is clearly not being taken care of the way it used to be. The pace of play is absolutely outrageous. Came here on the weekend as a group of 4 and we were playing at an average to rushed pace and the group behind us literally started screaming to hurry up and were up our asses the entire time. It didn't help that management allowed them to tee up literally 5 mins after us. Then an old guy that worked there came out on his cart on multiple holes and told us to hurry up. I said we're not exactly playing slow so I don't know what you want from us. For the money we paid (which was way too much for this place) we should be able to have fun and play at a relaxed pace. This is supposed to be a peaceful game. I 100% will never be coming back here again after this experience. read more

I can only speak for the golf driving range since that's all I used. I came on a Saturday afternoon and there were some people here but not super packed since it was bit chilly. We went inside and pay $11 for tokens (100 balls) then you go outside to the machine insert the tokens and your balls come out. Each section of the driving range has their own heater which came in handy. I really had a great time since I hadn't hit balls in a couple of years. I found the price to be reasonable and the grounds beautiful. read more

Summary. Really poor course Management. Tee times are 7 min apart and zero management by the course rangers. Regularly delayed by 30-40 minutes. Unless its the crack of dawn, don't bother. Managemnent, listen to your customers before you have none! Range, mini golf and food are pretty good and plenty of parking. Only thing that kept it off 1 star. read more

Reviewing the 9 hole course here. The course itself is in great shape so no discount there. The amount of ppl however they put on the course at once is embarrassing. I've never been on a course we're the tee boxed is backed up 3 foursomes. The Marshall needs to be fired asap. It's shameful because the course has so much potential and is actually kept in great shape. It took 2 hours to get through 4 holes at 98 degrees the business clearly needs to make a change. read more

Mini-golf review only! $8 for 18 holes on a clean, relatively easy course with some scenic rock mountain and some busted "ponds." It was pretty humid the evening I played, and the standing water did not help with the mosquitoes. Bring bug repellent! There is some sort of restaurant/bar/clubhouse right next to the course, which is pretty neat. Play a heavy game of mini-golf and pound away the blues with a drink. Credit card accepted, ample parking. Go to White Diamond immediately afterwards for hamburgers, hot dogs and fries. read more

I had a great time here! The mini golf course is a little dark at night, but I thought it was okay for a semi-competitive experience. Some of the water traps were totally dried up, so that's not adding anything to the experience. Each hole had its own challenges, and that kept things interesting. Nice plants and trees scattered around the course look nice and so does the larger water feature. One thing that I found very strange was some of the holes were warm when I went to go retrieve my ball, but that's besides the point! I'd recommend coming here on a fair weather day or night for a fun time. read more

I really like playing and practicing at Hyatt hills. The driving range is decent, but can definitely get crowded at peak times. I love the practice green for chipping and putting behind the first hole. I'm not great at golf so this is where I'll be spending most of my time. The actual course is nine holes, I believe it's $30 for non members. It's a very nice course, not too long but still has its fair share of challenges. It's usually in great conditions, but last time I went the greens were a little beat up. The signature hole is a beautiful par 3 over some water. Definitely my favorite place to play in the area, but would reserve that fifth star for more consistent green conditions. read more

I went to play miniture golf over the weekend. It was very packed and feel rushed. But, overall layout was nice with water falls and colorful flowers. People at place is very friendly and got good overall service. I recommend this for family outing. read more

This golf complex is racist! The inferior treatment you get if you are anything but white, is obvious. The restaurant manager was rude during seating assignment. Our food was delivered later than those who came after us. The checkout process was lousy. All in all worst experience I have had in New Jersey. read more

Can't believe the horrible course communication here. From the pro shop to the starter, this place can't be any worse. Had some rain today that blew over pretty quickly. I called the course an hour before my tee time to ask if they were open. Was told yes. It is about a 30 minute drive for me so I called again once I got in my car to leave. They said the course was open. Get to the course- told it was closed. Never mind the range, putting green and outdoor eating was open. Starter was incredibly rude too, telling me the course has been closed for hours and I must have called the wrong course. (I think his name was butch). Then I tried to ask him when we would be allowed out and who I could call in the future to get accurate information and this man literally just drove away from me mid sentence. Disgraceful and embarrassing. read more

Two stars because I actually liked the course would have had 1 star due to lack of customer service. So back story- I CALLED PRIOR TO CLARIFY THE SHIRT POLICY. They prefer collared shirts but prefer doesn't mean required. So I asked Jim once again via phone is Tshirt is ok and he said ok. Well Jim obviously needs a hearing aids because when we got there the story changed. Here's where to me I felt a little prejudice arise in the situation. My boyfriend and I walk in and we are dressed appropriately except he didn't wear a collard shirt- well I clarified that hence the call. Jim proceeded to tell us that "we prefer you wear collard shirts but I'll let you on the course this one time." Prefer versus required are two different things. YOU ARE A PUBLIC GOLF COURSE. So ok fine 72 dollars for us to ride and drive. So the golf cart geezer insists on asking us if we have bags... "Do you have golf bags?" "Uhhh...yes" (WTF WHY WOULD I COME HERE WITHOUT CLUBS?" "Two bags?!" "YES TWO BAGS." Jesus Christ - you're kidding me right? I've played golf in high school and college my boyfriend is self taught and is better then me. Like seriously? So rude and disrespectful. Anyways we load on and old cart guy proceeds to tell us how to use the cart bc it has gps...then he hits us with -WE PREFER COLLARD SHIRTS- lecture again. I cut him off and explained to him we called and we paid to play. So on our way to tee off... IT GETS BETTER So tee 1 the group ahead is in the middle of the fairway blah blah blah. We're not going to hit...we're going to hurt them. So old man cart guy comes by to start yelling at us to hit bc we have 2 groups behind us. WTF were not trying to hurt people. So he's rushing us and I'm getting frustrated because now the clubhouse is just looking like assholes. And my boyfriend explains to them- I'm not going to hit my driver out there. - The cart guy responds- YOU THINK YOU CAN HIT YOUR DRIVER THAT FAR? Boyfriend smacks the ball up to the green whole team ahead of us is putting and shut him up fast. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL MANNER THEY HAVE CONDUCTED THEMSELVES TOWARDS ME AND MY BOYFRIEND. Oh I forgot to mention that I'm Filipino and my boyfriend is black. But the course is great except I won't be coming back because they're customer service sucks. I know what golf etiquette is, I also know we are on a public golf course. All different types of people want to have an enjoyable round of golf but it's hard to enjoy, and learn when you're being bombarded by rude employees. read more

This place used to be a nice 9 holer, It outright sucks now. Obvious they have cut back on costs, the course is in horrible shape. Greens are beat to hell. Place is way over priced. I don't concept the idea of they now have 2 pins on the green. (Stupid). Always slow paced there. The staff, Why is everyone there always have to talk to everyone like there stupid. I'll be in line and there will be a less experienced golfer signing in, and doesn't concept some of the things, they jump all over the guy. So worried about what your wearing, etc, etc. Maybe they should be worried about the asst pro that is ALWAYS intoxicated, if you been there, he's the skinny young kid, that jumps in front of you to play a few holes when his friends are playing. Play the county courses, better off, better priced and a way better attitude. I guess you all see this place rubbed me the wrong way. read more

They have a 9 hole course here, putting green, short game area, driving range, and mini golf. I like the 9 hole course a lot. It was in OK shape when we played early Sept. Not great but it was also the end of the season. The range is no frills - $12 for a large bucket (I think ~100 balls). Most of the mats are in pretty good shape (better on the left side of the range) and most of the balls are good. The short game area is great, awesome, awesome, awesome perk. They give you about 30-40 yards of fairway, a big green, and a green-side bunker. The putting green is nice and in good shape - no chipping here. Mini golf is pretty good too. read more

This review is for the mini golf only. I took my young son today and unfortunately had a very poor experience. We paid for our mini golf and then went on the course. After the 2nd hole a nice man came and apologized saying the water wasn't working but when we were done just go in and we could get a refund. After we finished I went in and explained we were told we could get a refund since the water wasn't working. The man behind the counter said "No I told him that people could choose not to play and get a refund." First of all, he never mentioned it to me when he had no problem letting us play for the round, and then he expects me to tell a young child that we are going to leave after we started? This was also not what was communicated to us on the course. He was clearly upset with the employee but instead took it out on me, the customer, and my young child. I said I don't need a refund but would appreciate getting a credit to play another round when the water was working. He said "i can't do that but I'll give you a refund if you really didn't have fun." He got very defensive. During this exchange his mask was halfway off of his face and I decided it was better to just leave than pursue it further. Note for others about what kind of customer service you may encounter and the lack of concern for safety by one of their staff. We will not be returning. read more

Mini-Golf Review: 18 holes of pure fun! I came here on Mother's Day with my son and my boyfriend. Very nice facilities...very well maintained, beautiful landscape and scenery, ample parking, prices are great and there's also a restaurant inside the facilities. I didn't get to eat there but it smelled delicious while passing by. Great place for kids and teenagers, my son is 13 and he enjoyed it very much! Definitely a must! Would recommend this place and I would definitely go back here. Loved it! read more

One of the best 9 hole courses I've ever played. Very challenging and incredible well maintained. They have a driving range which some covered and heated stalls. Also, a practice green next to the first tee with space to practice chipping on level ground as well as a slope. There is also a 5-6 ft diameter sand trap, which was a great way to start the round. read more

Really fun place with good food and fun 9 hole with 2 par 5's i think. I see a-lot of people complaining about them packing the course as long as you have some patience I've never seen it take as long as some of these people are saying. I think a lot of people expect every course to be a $200 course or something but just realize it prob costs quite a bit to keep the place running while turning a profit so if the small amount of people complaining could do us a favor and never show up you'll free up the course a bit for people that just wanna enjoy their day and hit some balls. I think purchasing golf clubs make some people put their head where the sun don't shine just shut up and have fun. read more

I actually learned how to play here about 9 years ago, played a few times here, greens are ok but they need to fix a few things before I come back here. Unfortunately it was due to one bad customer service experience that ruined my time there. Pros: - ok greens - 9 holes is definitely my speed Cons: - They ask for every players information, address and phone number. - Costly for nine holes and they force you to pay for a cart on the weekends. Even if you want to walk they force you to pay for the cart but you're welcome to walk. - Terrible customer service. We were hitting on the driving range and the guy told us in a rude manner to 'move because he was working there'. For safety reasons the company should've probably close the stalls in a specific area or get a caged ball gatherer instead of taking it out on the paying customers. - They stack up the teams every 8 and 7 minutes so there's an inevitable back up. read more

Here's the deal: I have visited the pub for some quality food and drinks but never tee'd up at the golf course... Was very surprised the condition of this nine-hole golf courses! It's a nice course. Unfortunately, it's mismanaged. They space the tee times at 7 minutes apart. I teed off 45 minutes later than tee time. Plus, once you are on the course, the rangers don't speed up play. Bottom line- play elsewhere read more

Came to play 9 with my dad for the day off... They overbooked tee times and carts and weren't enforcing pace of play so the wait from our booked tee time was over an hour plus lines at tee boxes. Decided to hit the driving range instead which is nice,along with the restaurant (O briens). Management needs to enforce booking right amount of golfers for tee times. Multiple groups were getting refunds. read more

I've played mini golf here many times and it's definitely a great place. The complex is very clean and reasonably priced. The mini golf course is fun and pretty challenging! There's also a driving range and golf course. The workers are pretty good about keeping the course moving -- I've seen them politely move along teenage boys who are being silly and trying to play a second round without paying. Senorita's, the Mexican restaurant, is a great addition. It's a fun date to have dinner there, some drinks and play mini golf. read more

UGH! This place is NJ public golf at its worst. Had a 8:32 Sunday T-time and rushed along by the ranger every 5 minutes. They will not let you play just 9 holes. After ducking out after just a couple of holes (because I was tired of being rushed every 5 minutes), I went to the driving range. Stalls are very small and the person next to me was very nosy and kept trying to talk to me. read more

Not in bad shape for a course that gets a lot of play. Pretty easy to walk and you can vary the tees if you want to play 18. Decent practice area and driving range. The restaurant and bar are ok. Part of the clubhouse has a small pizza/kitchen but they are very inconsistent so I don't count on them for breakfast. They also have a nice mini golf course that is fun to play Played this course 3 times so far this season and it was extremely slow. The 1st two times there was no ranger to be seen. Played on a Wednesday and it took us over 5 1/2 hrs. There is no excuse. The one ranger that was out did nothing to speed up play because the "group of women always play slow" according to the starter. Lowering the 4 stars and thinking about going back to county golf since it can't be slower than this. read more

Anyone looking for a good round of golf will be pleased with hyatt hills. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you. The greens are kept very nicely as is the driving range. And if your looking for miniature golf its the nicest course vie ever been on. Hyatt Hills is only a few years old so everything is new and modern including the pro shop. They also have 3 restaurants in case your hungry or want a drink after the round. read more

Our family was in Edison and initially went to Top Golf, but after being told that the wait was around 2 hours, we quickly googled another nearby golf range and ended up at Hyatt Hills. We read online about the individually heated stalls in the outdoor range, so we gave it a try. To be honest, the heat lamp wasn't effective since there wasn't really any way to insulate the heat, so they might as well not have that. Otherwise, the mats were in good condition and the field had several different distance markers, so for a range it was good. read more

This review is for mini golf only. I find the facility clean and nice. The course is failrly straight forward and not difficult. I've golfed here a few times with my family and it's usually not crowded which is always a plus. If you want a good mini golf spot, this is a rock solid spot. read more

Great for mini golf, there is a nice drive range and putting practice green. I'm giving 4 stars because one of the staff members attitude offended me. I guess because I'm African American she assumed that I would not return the borrowed Driver and gave me the worst one to hit balls with. Last week, my 18-year-old son who has special needs had the police called on him. He was fishing with two of his friends. Unbeknownst to he or his friends, they were not supposed to be there fishing. They thought that it was a county park and we're allowed to.Rather than have a conversation with the young men, the golf course proceeded to call the police. Of which my son was charged with trespassing because he was the only one who is 18 years old. I have made five phone calls to try to resolve this amicably and yet, no one has returned my phone calls. The general manager Justin Depew has not returned any of my phone calls, I left messages with someone else named Justin, Jared and most recently Donovan. To think that something so innocent as fishing could be blown out of proportion is beyond me. All three boys present, are wholesome, good-natured boys. Again, my son has special needs and to think that they would resort to calling the police is beyond comprehension. My son has to appear in court next week. read more
