It's a perfect setting for all golfers, noobs and veterans as well as casual and competitive. The staff is excellent and the course is always kept in great condition. The 18-hole, executive-style course runs nearly 3,300 yards with a Par 58. It's extremely fun to play and it is the perfect course for me to haphazardly stumble upon. No, I'm not a local, coming from about 35 minutes away and still play weekly during the season. I get to work on my irons and putting game while also reaching for the driver on a few holes. I'm doing myself a disservice by letting the secret out. Get out there, hit some balls and see for yourself!

However, I played a few days ago, and my group was harassed for several holes by the rangers, for no good reason. They wanted us to skip a hole, even though there were no golfers waiting on us. They claimed we were playing too slowly, although the group behind us were at least a full hole back. The rangers were rude to us and argumentative, ruining the enjoyment of our round. Then, when they came a hole later, they thanked us for speeding up, and making up the "15 minutes" we were supposedly behind. (We did not change our pace of play at all). I have been playing this course for years, but if this is how they treat paying customers going forward, I won't be back. Be warned!

Princeton has them, Mountainview has them, Mattawang has them; Cream Ridge, Gambler Ridge, Mercer Oaks, all have them. I'm not going to drive 25 minutes to find out what ELSE they don't have. I was a bit reluctant to get involved with Golftec in East Brunswick due to the inconsistencies of…read morethe reviews, but I decided to give it a try. I booked a swing analysis with John Spiteri and was very happy with the results. John is very knowledgeable and patient. He uncovered several swing faults and worked with me on corrections. His explanations were clear and he was very patient with me as I worked through the changes. I've since gone through a club fitting with John and again, he was great. I didn't have my best swing for the session but he got me going and he took me through a process of trying different manufacturers, shafts, and lies. Again, he was extremely thorough and patient and I am very pleased with my club recommendations. Be aware that they cover the major manufacturers but not everyone. Throughout both sessions, there was no hard sell and I was very comfortable and satisfied with the results. I can't speak to the other coaches at Golftec in East Brunswick but John Spiteri is great. Give him a try.

We ended up being placed in the Tesla room which is a room that connects to another and which can be rented out in tandem for larger gatherings. The guy helping us was super friendly and walked us through how to navigate the computer and our options. This is a byo spot so you can either bring your food and drinks or have it delivered. They offer an option for you to order from local spots. Overall a nice option to have during the colder months and maybe even to work on your game. We know we'll come back to play a full round!
