They have a separate bar area which is large enough to also accommodate a buffet-style layout without it feeling crowded or chaotic which made for more than enough space to move around and mingle with other guests. Would recommend.

I must also add that the entire staff is friendly, and ice cold water is available on multiple holes on the course. As a county resident who primarily plays on weeknights or later in the day on weekends, it's very affordable too. My only criticism is the over priced range balls (6.00 for 25-30 balls is not a good deal). Other then that. A+

The whole experience from our first visit to the wedding day was very well coordinated by the catering sales manager Julia. All of our wishes were accommodated. She was so helpful in walking us through the process, letting us know exactly what we needed to do and when. The wedding could not have been better! All of our guests were so pleased with the elegant ballroom and scenic views of the surrounding golf course. Everyone mentioned how delicious and plentiful the food was as well as how attentive all of the staff and servers were. There was a peaceful air to the entire event. We highly recommend the Valley at Neshanic for the beauty, service, and value.

What's great about this course is that even though it's a pitch and putt, there are interesting elements including teeing over water. Also, there are several holes where you will be hitting more than just a pitching wedge. You have to have at least 1 person who has a Summit Community Programs ID card which out of towers can get. This place is well worth it for a quick, unfussy rounds and perfect for anyone just learning how to play golf.

There is a mixture of holes throughout the course. Some tee shots you hit downhill and some are uphill. I look forward to returning to MRGC one day.

In the beginning planning stages, Jackie and Tim were so great about accommodating our crazy schedules and answering our many questions. They were so patient and very helpful in providing suggestions and feedback when we needed it. They allowed us to "drop by" at all hours so we could plan for each of our vendors and even set up the ballroom one day with all the tables so we could really visualize how the room would look. The day of the wedding was more than we ever could have imagined. It really exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was absolutely spectacular. Tim and the chef really went above and beyond to ensure our menu was exactly what we wanted and each dish was impeccable. We had guests commenting on how it was the best "wedding food" they have ever had and felt like they had a meal from a 5-star restaurant! The service was more than we would have ever imagined. Each staff member was very professional and helpful in making sure our guests were very well taken care of. We had a guest mention that his glass wasn't empty all night because his waitress was on top of making sure he was so well cared for! The bar staff was amazing - they were engaging and professional and really had hustle to make sure our guests didn't have to wait around for a cocktail. It was most appreciated! The appetizer stations were set up so beautifully as was the dessert display ! My husband was totally blown away with the dessert feast, it was incredible. They were able to adjust our flowers from different areas to accent the tables and did it so discreetly I had NO idea it even happened until I walked in the dessert room! We had an ice cream bar as well and the service was amazing - it was a great feature to the dessert area. Tim and Katherine were so detailed oriented and made sure everything ran flawlessly from start to finish. The newly renovated club is absolutely stunning!! Its so elegant and modern - very light and bright. The outdoor terrace bar is spectacular - it's huge and unlike anything I've ever seen before. Its so well crafted and has details that are a real standout. Katherine really took care of every little element that I hadn't even thought of - the smallest touches made the biggest difference! The staff put together a really cute candy bar display. I was out on the golf course taking photos and a staff member stuck by my side to make sure I was well hydrated and didn't need anything, food, water, etc. She was able to grab my husband a beer to keep him going through photos! It was a really nice touch! Bottom line - MCGC exceeded ALL my expectations in everyday. The staff really went above and beyond for us and our guests. I would absolutely do another event here.

They never asked her for an email to send a confirmation to so we assumed we did not need one since we spoke to an actual person to make the reservation. On the day of the round, we got a little lost getting there since the road leading up to the course was closed off. (With GPS.) So we called the pro shop and the woman who answered was extremely rude saying "I DONT KNOW WHERE YOU ARE. DONT YOU HAVE GPS?" So we just had to figure out a way to go around back roads to get to the course ourselves. Then when we arrive, this same woman snapped at my mother saying we don't have a reservation. Whoever took the reservation over the phone clearly did not put us in the system nor tell us that we needed to go online. It felt as though this woman treated my mother poorly because my mom has a thick Asian accent and a little difficult to understand. So she was short and impatient instead of kind and helpful. For this alone, we will never return. As for the course, it was in okay shape. The greens are tiny and slow. Tee boxes are in rough shape. The holes are on top of each other so we kept having other groups in our fairway hitting their ball back on to their own fairways. There was no snack/bar cart, literally no offerings. It's not a $70 course by any means. It's a $40 course at best.
