Myself and 2 friends drove up from South NJ, we stopped by to visit the lounge. When we entered, we were asked if we had reservations. One of the ladies with me, was there 2 weeks prior and didn't need reservations. We did not have reservations, the place was fairly empty but we were told that there was not availability other than 2 share a hight top round with a gentleman that is already at the table; we declined. I understand some areas of the lounge being reserved but some should stay open for the general public. Beautiful establishment but our experience does not reflect what we normally experience with cigar lounges, which is inclusiveness. I have been to several lounges before and am a member of a cigar lounge, this experience does not align with the cigar lounge culture. read more

Small selection in humidor. Sadly when I went I did not have a pleasurable experience. They charge non smokers a sitting fee so my guest had to go outside while I had a cigar. They don't have a bar here. The ambiance seemed alright. There's room for improvement. read more

Sticks Cigars - Also, great cappuccino to cap off the night... - Cigar Bars Near Me - Rahway, New Jersey

I was at a restaurant down the street and met a guy who was buying drinks to take into the cigar lounge and said that because they don't have a bar that they allow you to bring drinks in. I bought a drink and took it over. The cigar from their small humidor that was a little overpriced, but I was okay with that. They bring you a fancy propane lighter and a large metal ashtray. The hostess then asked me if I wanted a glass and I said no but she seemed persistent. I chatted with her for a while and smoked my cigar. When I walked up to settle my tab, it was like $15 additional for a "pairing fee", whatever that means. It was clear to me from the beginning that the hostess works for tips and I was also fine with that, although it wasn't like I necessarily needed to have the ashtray emptied 3 times and given a fancy glass for my drink. I just don't like walking in to sit and smoke an overpriced cigar and then be charged $15 on top of that before a tip, turning a $15 cigar into close to $35 with a tip. Just be aware that this isn't your traditional cigar lounge and the concept is that you pay $20 in addition to the cost of a cigar to bring a drink in and sit down and soak up the atmosphere before an expected gratuity. I don't know what other charges might apply for anything else. Maybe I've been living under a rock all these years, but this type of thing is not my cup of tea. read more

We went on Wednesday night. Fine nice. Bad coffee but eh what can you do. Go there on Thursday, now there is a dress code. No consideration, you bloody turn away business in COVID. I will be having a discussion with your distributors, hope you only like to sell house blends. Stunads. Daniel's reply to the review is expected, but irrelevant. It is your shop, do what you want. Very defensive. Never argue with a fool, onlookers might not be able to tell the difference. I will see you at the next IPCPR. read more

Just spent a few hours here smoking a nice stogie. Had several hours to kill in the area waiting for my son while he was doing something. Decided to bring my iPad, earphones, chill watch some a movie and smoke a cigar. 1. This place is designed much nicer than most cigar lounges I have been too 2. Seats were plentiful and super comfortable 3. Staff was very nice, owner introduced himself and couldn't be more cordial 4. This is a BYO but they do sell various non alcoholic drinks including coffee/espresso 5. Lots of TVs with games on 6. What looked like a kickass outdoor area with TV. If you smoke cigars and want to drop by for a smoke this place is definitely worth visiting. I am not from the area but seems like they have a membership here too with various benefits. Selection not as grand as other places but quality bears quantity here. I wish the owners lots of luck and success for many years to come! read more

When it comes to enjoying a good cigar a bigger venue is not necessarily better, this place has the true feel of a smokers den, with extremely comfortable chairs and the services of the ladies promptly emptying our ashes, it just screams CLASS! But there's a whole other element, THE DECK!! With propane heaters and an all weather TV Only a true cigar smoker can understand how enjoyable it is to sit under the clouds and just release all the cares of the day! I must say, well done gentlemen! I have a 12 year old scotch waiting for the company of a great cigar a comfortable chair! read more

Absolutely amazing experience, great vibes, great service, and most importantly great place! Thank you Danny!

Great place if you want to basically waste $100 to smoke a single cigar and drink the drink you brought in with you. Well, it was two people, but still!!!! It would cost me less at Club Mac. I think they forgot they are only in Rahway read more

Got together with some old friends for dinner and I decided I wanted a cigar so we stopped in Sticks afterwards and had a GREAT time. The patio out back has a great feel to it, it's BYOB and the service was IMPECCABLE. To top it off they served me one of the best espresso's I had in a long time. I highly recommend Sticks read more

The reason for the 3 is the last 10-15 minutes of the night. The place is nice, the service was good. The women were attentive to what we needed/wanted. Environmental overall chill. Music was a bit loud for conversation, but I liked the songs playing. At the end my husband and I paid $77...2 cigars (mine was smaller), 2 cork fees I am assuming bc it's a byob, 2 waters, 2 cups of coffee. It just seemed alittle much for what we consumed. We paid...but I ask the woman for a print out of the bill to see exactly how much everything was individually bc it was a larger group and she uses a tablet to tell you the bill and take payment. When coming to a place for the first time I like to see what we pay for. She said she would bring the print out. We waited as she got her payment from 2 other groups and she never came back with the printout. It felt almost as though she did not want to show us. That may not be the case but that is what it felt like. In the end I wouldn't go back. We have been to several cigar lounges and this by far was the most expensive. read more

Used to really dig this small cigar shop, went there Saturday with my Fiancé to relax and chill and the woman working told us we had to leave because my $150 Brooks brother button up shirt didn't have a collar... ‍ There we're 4 people there ..lol .... you would think they would be more focused on making a dollar than a collar... Horrible .. I will spread the word not to go here as I know a ton of folks in the cigar world. read more

This place needs to learn how to treat women. You'd think a sausage fest would encourage women, but I wasn't provided any help selecting my first cigar, I don't even think the bar tender spoke english. The place seemed like one big inside joke and new people aren't really welcome. The manager seemed to be a little hot headed and disrespectful. He should have spent more time helping me than disrespecting the help. Not going back. read more

What an awesome place for a fine smoke. Great ambience and the selection of cigars is topnotch. They have great service with a waitress that makes sure you have everything you need. TVs surround the place and they have a pretty cool deck in the back and again with an all weather flat screen accompanied by outdoor heaters for the night time. My compliments to the owner Dan. Good job. read more

Had a very nice time there a few Friday's ago, great atmosphere and theme. At first we had to sit at the domino table and were told we probably should have made a reservation. Later on when a cancellation occured and couch space opened up we were well accommodated. Really appreciate that. Also, my crew were not really novices but having the assistance in the humidor, nice touch. Could have done without the glass fee if you BYOB but the price at the end of the night barely $30, awesome. One other thing bothered me though. On the website it said Thursday and Friday night, semi formal attire required (no sweatpants, sneakers, etc. Most of the people in their followed the dress code. However I noticed a few parties were allowed to come in underdressed, exactly how your not supposed to look. I wouldn't have carerd but my friend had to go back home to change to something less casual before we got there thinking he would have to. So does the dress code still exist those nights? read more

Rarely will you find a cigar spot that has to many good cigars to choose from but when I visited Sticks that's exactly what happened. Great selection to choose from, the woman who was working answered all my questions and was very friendly and although I was in a bit of a rush I would definitely go there to hang out. Place was clean and inviting with ample space. Parking is a little rough in that area but that has nothing to do with establishment. read more

If you're looking for an upscale experience, this is your place. At first glance you can't help but be taken by the decor and flow of the establishment. The deck is an excellent touch and even enjoyed it on a 40 degree day due to the numerous heaters. The staff is extremely friendly and the founders give you first class treatment always and even a tour when hearing its your first time there. Was so taken with the place and atmosphere that I purchased a locker after my first visit. Definitely will be a regular. read more

The layout is very nice. The humidor is adequate in selection but a bit on the small side to other establishments. The cigars were well maintained in that space and the price point north of average. Nice lounge and outdoor seating area with each table having cutters and lighters available. Helpful and friendly staff. It is BYOB but they do charge $10 per person if you do. Mixers can't be carried in and they have them available for sale. read more
