One of my favorite cigar lounges on the other side of the river. Railroad is a diverse place with an awesome collection of cigars. They have a large walking in humidor with some serious collection of cigars you will not be disappointed. You aren't allowed to bring your own cigars no exceptions. Honestly cigars are very well priced and with their collection it's not an issue. It's a BYOB if you would like. However the do have their own bar and espressos. In addition it's a large place with indoor and outdoor seating. Large couches indoor are very comfortable and the seating outside is nice during spring or fall. The place is Uber safe. Usually you'll see a lots of law enforcement hanging out there after their shift. Definitely go check it out! read more

They don't have a liquor license so I think they try to make it up on the cigar prices. This is a pretty cool, laid back cigar spot. They have a pool table, couches, tvs and a bar. They only serve 2 types of beer, but you can also bring your own bottle. They also have a pretty decent selection of cigars. I've never been to a cigar lounge before, unless you count the times I've been at the airport in Atlanta and sat intrigued among the smokers in the lounge. Hesitant at first, I wasn't to sure about this establishment, being that it's in Newark and all. Plus there were madddd people standing outside and I felt like I was at a Brooklyn backyard fete. But then I realized that it was actually the outdoor area, complete with picnic/umbrella tables and plenty of parking (though the lot was full to capacity). Anyway, on this particular Friday night I had the opportunity to experience more than I could have hoped for. First off, it's BYOB! Say what! Second of all, there is plenty of seating, complete with tables lined with huge ash trays and walls lined with television screens playing a variety of sports and sitcoms. Thirdly, there is an upstairs area with a balcony, and lastly there is a very large restroom on the first that is well um unisex-gasp! Yup it's unisex, which means there are two urinals inside of it, along with one toilet. Shrugs* Maybe they were ahead of the game and knew what the future held in terms of bathroom labels by gender. Moving on, I had this small cigar called a blondie and it was delightful. But one must dip it in cognac before smoking it to get that good feel. Overall the vibe was nice, the crowd was diverse and the band, the band was lit!! Loved, loved, loved this place. I see you cigar lounge in Newark; keep doing your thing! read more

I smoked my fist cigar there, at a glance from a new smoker I loved the atmosphere, the lady picked out a decent 1st cigar which I enjoyed. I now smoke basically everyday. They have a great selection in their walkin Humidor, pool table, nice comfy sofas and TVs, I was kind of choked up with all the smoke in there and seems like it needs alot more vent to be comfortable for new smokers I saw 1 small vent uptop. All in all i would visit again as a getaway from norm of life, Also the 10$ per person corking fee is way too high to drink a 6 pack of beer if your going share it with a friend.. Thats 20$ for some ice. But if your going alone the cork fee is ok. I will and continue to go there. Just wish they had the PPV fights there I wouldnt leave that place and bring friends to smoke.. read more

It's BYOB but the very accommodating staff will provide whatever 'extras' you need. The clientele here is THE best...make you feel like a regular. One of the best ventilated cigar bars I've ever visited. The bar is two stories high allowing for tons of OPEN space for the smoke and a private room above stairs for club members. On the downside the parking lot is small and they do not serve food or drinks. You literally can BYOB and purchase cigars and smoke inside. read more

A friend recommended this spot. The ambiance was very chill, and the customer service was excellent. Jazmine was extremely helpful and educated us on everything that was cigars from best cigars, to the best way to cut them and how to light and smoke them. It's BYOB and after our lesson she quickly got us seats, ice buckets, rocks glasses and a lighter. She checked on us all night to make sure we were taken care of. The owner Rui came over several times to make sure my sister and I were doing good for our first time. He gave us pointers and explained to us the best way to smoke a cigar. He made his rounds all night making sure everyone was happy. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They also have a juke box, Large screen TVs, and pool tables.
