The world's biggest karting track? Definitely something to cross off the bucket list--especially…read morewhen you have motor-loving kids! . If somebody does not like racing, there is plenty of other activities in the area, that also had a huge parking lot. The track is huge, demanding, and genuinely fun to drive. Our whole family loved the experience, and the staff was fantastic. A special shout-out to Isebaia, who took great care of us. She clearly and patiently explained all the options and was a fantastic ambassador for the front desk. We bought the 3-ride bundle. Since a couple of the kids were under 15, we started with a Semi-Pro race. Unfortunately, my kart wasn't working properly--it braked going uphill, downhill, and pretty much whenever it felt like it. Not exactly the ideal start. The next races we switched to Pro, but there were still quite a few racers on the track. If you're hoping to set records, I'd definitely recommend coming at a quieter time. When you have slower drivers who haven't quite figured out how to drive yet, patience becomes part of the experience. Despite that, everyone had a great time, and the staff really made the experience enjoyable. A couple of negatives: the karts should be checked more carefully before putting them into a race. Losing a race because your kart isn't functioning properly is frustrating. And then there's the price. Three races each for the whole family gets very expensive--almost approaching what you might pay for a full day at Universal Studios. That definitely puts the cost into perspective. I would give a 5 star for the racetrack and the staff, but the price and the broken kart brought it down to 3. So 4 in total Would I do it again? Absolutely. Would my wallet agree? Probably not. Still, for a family of racing and motor enthusiasts, it's an experience worth doing at least once.

Went with my Dad to celebrate Father's Day!…read more We went on a Tuesday and the crowd was minimal. The place had a great atmosphere with a well laid out map plan. Everything was spread out and didn't feel on top of each other. The location was way bigger than it had appeared to be. Bathrooms were spotless. I initially had my Dad and I to do one race and an hour of axe throwing but after our race my Dad lit up. So I asked the helpful associate Angel if we can sub our axe game for another race. The manager Nicole was such a sweetheart and did it no problem. Amazing experience, 10/10 recommend. My only dilemma is for people who carry most of their height in their legs beware. The go-cart seat can only go back so much. But otherwise we had a blast.

When we arrived, everything was up and running as if it were daytime. All the games, rides and attractions were in service. I rode Go Karts for the first time in yearrrs and I actually came in first place. Me! That was dope. The BIG FUN though was all the water rides. Lazy River, pool tubing and the main pool were all open and full of people ready for a great time. We were treated to a DJ who understood the crowd assignment and shoutout to the most wonderful staff. All employees on this night were in a great mood and they gave party vibes too. The promoters didn't over sell this event, so crowds and lines weren't a problem at all. I had such a blast that I wasn't even mad about getting my phone wet. I'm looking forward to going back to The Funplex for another After Dark night out. I thought they were gonna shortchange us but that didn't happen. We were given the whole experience. Good stuff!

We got wristbands and although it was rainy on and off they were able to keep operating since there wasn't a danger such as thunder or lightning. Lines weren't long because of the weather. They provide life jackets. They have many lifeguards. There is a picnic area for the public but a separate one for birthday parties. Pizza and wings weee good. Had lots of refreshment options and also adult beverages you could purchase. The people working the birthday side were upbeat and friendly.

There was a bar, merchandise you could buy, and some photo opps. Check in started at 11:30am but we didn't arrive until a little after 1:00pm. Our Yelp team, 'Baby it's Yelp Outside', raised over $7K+ towards this charity and won third place in fundraising for NYC...Whoo Hoo!!! Thanks to all of my supporters and contributors in helping me reach my fundraising goals which added to the teams overall goal, couldn't have done this without you. As it was explained to me, this is one of the few charities that you don't have to worry about where the funds are going as it goes directly to the Children's Tumor Foundation and that in itself makes this particular event even more than worth it. Thanks to our Yelp NYC Crew, Drew, Sierra and Katey for being there. I was genuinely happy to see our Yelp table representing, as you always do. Thanks to all the Yelpers, friends and family that came out despite the extreme cold, very brave of you considering the weather conditions. This year it was clearly stated that you did not have to do the run, which a few people heeded. But that didn't stop some of the barely clad who did the shortened run by the Westside Highway, with car horns blaring, showing love or better yet wondering what the hell is going on with hundreds of people running in their unmentionables...that was a funny sight to see. Also, thanks to Brian N. who made me aware of this charity a few years ago and Alexandra K. who ran our cool team of Yelpers this year by keeping everyone informed and pretty much managing all things necessary for our teams success. Awesome afternoon dance party with underwear wearing fund raisers, what more could you ask for? Oh, I know, temperatures in February slightly above freezing.
