Heard about this place for a while. Finally decided to give it a go. It's so psychedelic, vibrant & 60's groovy! I love the decor, the colors, & the lights. Upon entry we had to use the QR code to fill out the waiver. Then we went to the 2nd door to get our tickets scanned. Next we had to get on a line to purchase and receive skate rentals. Once we got the skates we had to purchase a locker by using another QR code to have access to the locker. The locker situation was horrible because it would not open at all. The reason being is supposedly the data service in the skate rink is not good so on their end so the lockers can't open. So we had to constantly look for a worker to unlock the lockers. The cost was about $5 I believe. The rink was cool. There were people of all ages on the floor. Some good some not so good but that's fine we have to start somewhere. The music was okay... not my preference but hey, it is what it is. I just came for the kids to enjoy themselves & they did. The menu however was not extensive and it was expensive. I think it's a one and done thing for me. But I would recommend it to others to try it out.

This is a great spot to do a roller rink party. I went for frost children & babymorocco's small Hi25 party and from 7-8pm before the actual show at 9pm the skates were free and we got the enjoy a free portion of skating! If you arrived earlier around 6 I think you would need to pay because you would be skating for a full 3 hours. I ordered a locker for $5 and it worked the whole night I was there from 7pm-11pm During the show they don't allow skating although if you brought your own you technically can skate on the sides where people are not endangered. There was a dj set during the skating and we had a pretty fun time rolling around our openers of the night. To be frank their sound system isn't that great so I don't really think DJ sets are supposed to be here and they don't have any lasers, just strobe lighting and disco balls. Definitely more like a disco party vibe vs like edm. The reason why I placed a star under is because the food is so bad and I cannot bring myself to ever eat here again. We ordered a pretzel, nachos and the pierogi hot dog. I saw a Instagram post about the polish hot dog because I was like wow this looks crazy- and yes it tastes crazy as well. The hot dog was completely cold with some mashed potato and the pierogi was probably the best part about this. The nacho chips were really hard and all the cheese is fake. The pretzel came with the fake cheese dip as well although I was hoping for more like mustard??? Never again. lol. I had fun but wow do not order the food!

My friends and I spontaneously came here for an 80s skate night. It was a cool spot one of the nicer rinks I've been to and there were no kids. The cover was like $32 I think that's a little high considering you have to rent skates and pay for a locker for your stuff. However I don't know if this is the usual cost or if it's because they had an event. I would come again the only complaint I have are the rink staff that skate on the floor. They are pretty experienced but they skate like reckless drivers which made a few inexperienced skaters experience unpleasant.

My first time back at a roller skating rink since I was a little kid! I honestly forgot how difficult it was however there were experienced skater staff helping around. The place is huge and the bar service was fairly quick as well! I had the Lady Bug Daiquiri and Cherry Amaretto along with picking at some apps for the table. Wouldn't necessarily order the nachos again but the vegan hot dogs, absolutely!!!! A fun experience overall and great birthday celebration with group.

Brooklyn's newest rollerskating rink is here in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. It has been open for almost three weeks. The L train station to Jefferson St is located on the corner. Colorful graffiti art adorned the walls outside of the building. The interior decor is really nice and welcoming. Bathrooms are colorful and spacious. The lockers are $5 and decent in sizing. Admission and skate rental fees are separate. They also charge for skating walkers which they do not have enough for their customers. Snacks and food at the concession stand was good but a bit pricey. Overall, I enjoyed my first visit to Xanadu Roller Arts. My family and I plan on visiting this place a lot in the future.

    When I first got there

Well it's a cool place, but it's not as big as I expected. The rink is pretty small and it gets crowded very quickly so you have to dodge people and skate very slowly. But the place is fun and has a great vibe.

I looooooved the vibe, the pricing, the old tunes, the colors, the food, all of it! The only thing I wish there was a separation between boys and girls bathroom. Im not trying to be discriminatory towards the LGBTQ+ im more scared of some men out there in the streets and would rather pick the bear. But these place is AWESOME. go THERE! we dressed up as steve harvey from my friends birthdah ahha.

Attended the family skate at Xanadu in Bushwick today. The staff is so sweet, the facilities are clean, the hot dogs are delicious, and the roller skating rink is gorgeous! Can't wait to go back again. We had a great time.

Entry was free (unheard of in this day and age!) and skate rentals were only $20+tax. Believe me when I say the energy of all the skaters, employees and DJ were off the charts! Everyone was positive, enthusiastic, supportive and friendly! There were impromptu conga lines, electric slide dances and smiles aplenty. I must have skated for about 3 hours with only the occasional 3 minute break to catch my breath. In case you got hungry or thirsty, there were small mom n pop food and drink vendors by the entrance charging very reasonable prices. The best part was being amongst such talented skaters! I've only been skating three times now but I feel like I leveled up just by watching others here. If you're new to skating, rest assured that the community is as friendly as they are skilled! 5/5 beach skating event.. thank you RollerWave NYC!

They received my payment but never responded to emails or phone calls. But thats not why they earned the one star. Let me start by saying that I spoke to both coaches and they said "its ok" and then I'm assuming the husband of the boss. He told me to talk to the coaches and the owner Jocelyne said she will talk to the coaches, which she never did. When you sign up you can choose white or blue jerseys. We chose blue. During the lessons the coaches would split the team by color and there would be 7 white shirts and 5 blue shirts (two blue shirts using skate trainers). For 5 or more sessions we had 3 blues vs 7 white jerseys. The blue jersey would lose every game by double digits and lucky to score one goal. I've ask the coaches to split the teams evenly by having some white jerseys wear blue scrimmage vest, that happened only once which the blue team won and my kids could not wait for the next class, they were so excited. The next class they where back to 7 vs 3 and and the next 3 weeks the same. Both of my kids don't want to play ice hockey anymore so we've stopped going, foregoing the rest of the lessons. LIC ICE broke my kids and took away the enjoyment of ice hockey. How can you let them get destroyed every game, hearing them complain even cry and do the same thing every lessons. I would had considered continuing with LIC ICE and even paying the tuition that was now doubled the price with the "one hour in the workout room" if you just focused more on the kids want and love of the game instead of crushing them and harassing me about signing up for next season. I even overlooked that your rink is really meant for 3 on 3 no where close to 10+ kids plus two coaches.

It is small and very crowded (especially now with the holiday season), but it was the best feeling being immersed in this incredible atmosphere. There are a few things to note before visiting Glide: 1. If you are a NYC resident, check for free or discounted tickets, which are available for select dates and times. 2. Bring your own skates. If you are using rental skates, your experience may be completely different--the skates are made of plastic and my friend got blisters. If you don't have your own skates, wear thick socks and don't forget to bring bandaids. 3. Bring your own lock. They have lockers for shoes and bags which you can use for free with your own lock. 4.
