Fantastic throwback spot in a super cool section of Bushwick!…read more They put on concerts with their super loud & tight sound system, which also has a cool video wall behind the large stage. For skating, they have a large, oval wooden roller rink floor, just they had in the 70's & 80's all around NYC and the boroughs. Killer DJ's & awesome song selections keep the energy going for both concerts & skating. This is a truly unique spot that's perfect for young kids & everyone else up to their 60's or so. (I'd cut it off after that as it's loud & most Seniors wouldn't like the volume & probably shouldn't be roller skating, unless they really know what they're doing). Love that this place exists - it's MAGICAL!!!

I believe the electronic locker is $5 and fit 2 jackets, shoes and smaller bags. There was plenty of booth and bench seating near the wide bar and around the edges of the rink. The spacious bathroom is well stocked. The service from the bar was prompt and pleasant. My favorite things were the salmon nachos and coconut water. The surface of the skating floor is smooth, and provide a comfy skating experience even for less frequent/ unseasoned skaters. The center of the floor is dedicated to learners and tricks. At times the stage is accessible for shenanigans & live shows/ DJs. The floor can be very contested on more popular night and sor special events, which less than ideal for faster skaters and easy maneuvering around folks. This is a welcome indoor activity that is weather proof and I approve.

There we were, a former division 3 starter and a former high school JV back up point guard going head to head in spot ones, giving the Manhattan skyline that stood tall in the background a show to start the day. The infamous "Battle for the Brooklyn Bridge," as some pundits are calling it. We were on one of the five courts, and there I was playing my typical game dribbling the air out of the ball to get a struggle bucket. He was lowkey cooking me I can't even lie. His 3pt percentage from treball was odee shooting hesi hang pulls... I would never say this to his face but he is a wonderful person and a gifted basketball player... it's a shame he's 5'6. After the war of the behemoths, endorphins flowing from a good sweat, we just sat there taking in the sites and talking about how much we love the game. Basketball genuinely makes me feel like a little kid again. It gives me that pure happiness and sense of purpose that I have spent my adult life trying to replicate in something else. Also, shoutout to the work besties of the world. You don't fully appreciate them until one of you leaves the job. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Entry was free (unheard of in this day and age!) and skate rentals were only $20+tax. Believe me when I say the energy of all the skaters, employees and DJ were off the charts! Everyone was positive, enthusiastic, supportive and friendly! There were impromptu conga lines, electric slide dances and smiles aplenty. I must have skated for about 3 hours with only the occasional 3 minute break to catch my breath. In case you got hungry or thirsty, there were small mom n pop food and drink vendors by the entrance charging very reasonable prices. The best part was being amongst such talented skaters! I've only been skating three times now but I feel like I leveled up just by watching others here. If you're new to skating, rest assured that the community is as friendly as they are skilled! 5/5 beach skating event.. thank you RollerWave NYC!

Great place for the entire family!!…read more My sister ended up finding this place since we were trying to do something different than what we normally do for the weekend. Upon pulling in, we noticed a very large parking lot that you do not have to pay for. Once we parked, we walked in and immediately noticed kids doing rock climbing and signs for gymnastics classes. Since we registered prior to coming in, we just gave our names and was able to walk in to our destination. We came here for "Bumper Cars On Ice" about an hour earlier than we needed to so while we waited- we were able to walk around and see what else this arena had to offer. In addition to the rock climbing and gymnastics, there was ice skating, ice hockey, a basketball court and a food court. Although there were people all over the place, it didn't seem too crowded. As far as the bumper cars, we had a blast! As an adult, I did not expect to have as much fun as I did as there were people of all ages participating in the fun! Overall, GREAT PLACE for family members of all ages I would definitely come back!
