Introduction to Ropes Class - very hands on.
Michelle B.

Came here fairly recent for a introduction to ropes class. It's conveniently located a few blocks away from the Jefferson L train station. The class with Instructor Kelly was really good and informative. I needed a refresher from climbing top rope and he's really great. Small class size, we went around introducing ourselves prior to the class. After the class, we were allowed to stay in the gym to practice what we learned and have fun. There was many walls to either boulder, auto belay, top rope climb and lead climb (can be distinguished). I put one star down just because of front desk. It was my first time coming here and the guy behind the computer came off a bit rude and impatient because I asked him to repeat where I can find the bathrooms to change in.

Lead class only!

Came here for a lead class on a Friday! The instructor Miguel is amazing he's funny, informative and super patient! I'm so afraid of falls but he let me learn falling at my own pace! Super nice gym, lots of bouldering options and lead options! Staff was very friendly and courteous, checked temperatures, offered a tour of the place but my friends have been there before so declined gracefully (: Lots of people bouldering, they have lockers inside the bathroom where you can lock and cubbies outside (more spacious than the inside lockers, couldn't fit my gym bag inside only on the outside), love the pit where there's a shape of a big star for the auto belays! How unique! The whole pit section is derived mostly of leading, looks intense but would love to be able to try them once lead certified! They have discounts for students on Fridays and ladies night during the week, love the varieties! Can't wait to come back to work on lead clipping with top roping :) see you guys soon!

A pic of the climbing walls!

Love this gym and staff. There's so much available climbing at this facility, and the auto belayers make it possible to climb without a partner. Would recommend!

Friendly staff and lovely environment. Went with my friend and will be returning! Think I just found myself a new hobby. Great for pros and beginners!

I came back for round two on a Friday evening to use my free day pass and I had a great time! Practice does make perfect..I definitely felt more confident this time around to try the higher level climbs and jump down. The place was really packed but everyone is respectful of space and no one hogged the rocks. The staff were also attentive as always, constantly chalking up the rocks. I used the locker room this time and love that they actually provide tampons for the ladies who need it. Overall, I would stop by again when I have a chance!

Within 12 hours, I notified the company of the fraud, which they acknowledged in writing and stated they would "not ship any merchandise associated with the order". No merchandise ever shipped, left the company, and they did not lose any product or money. Despite that, they still posted the charge to my credit card. When I spoke to them on the phone, they lied and told me they had refunded the money (which they had not) and I could drop the dispute with my credit card company. Two weeks later, charge for $774 still pending... Again, received email confirmation from customer service that no merchandise had left their facility... and that my credit card company had already "charged back" the funds. Another lie. Nearly a month later, and I follow up as to why the charge was still posted... They stated that they were "unable" to refund the money due to the dispute/fraud complaint. Nearly 2 months later, was advised (today) by my credit card company that the investigation is still pending, and that the merchant had "challenged" my dispute. Why? They lost no money, they lost no merchandise, and they are continuing to try to "screw over" someone who was already violated and had their credit card hacked. How can you acknowledge fraud in writing, and then try to " challenge" the dispute? Shameful business practices, dishonest at best... Trying to make a quick buck from someone who's already been violated. Would not do business with this company... Absolutely shameful.

Williamsburg - North Side

Date of visit: April 13, 2026…read more I have long appreciated the mission of Patagonia and thought that someday I will splurge on one of their items, like a vest. As we don't have any stores back home, I was intrigued when we came upon this store in Williamsburg. Note that I said "intrigued," and not "I purchased something," as I still could not wrap my mind around the prices and that "someday" was still not "this day." Staff didn't really interact with us (maybe they knew we're too poor to buy anything) but I didn't mind the opportunity to look around in peace and give my eyebrows a workout with each price tag I flipped over. The Sale rack was laughable in both the discount and the paltry selection of items available, but you better believe I looked at it anyway! The store was in great condition, too--not that that is a great shock given the average cost of an item. Someday, Patagonia, someday!

Believe it or not i found a parking spot in front of the store which was amazing considering I had my infant. The moment we walked in they had an umbrella stand which was perfect because it was extremely rainy that day. We were welcomed by the staff and they told us there was an elevator with a kid section which was nice to see because I have a newborn son and a 6 year old daughter. However, we decided to get two sundresses instead that were amazing quality and so nice. The store is so nice and well decorated. The furniture is so comfortable that was I even able to feed my son there in peace. I would definitely return when I have extra money to splurge on nice good quality clothing.

Tonight l had another great experience at Paragon thanks to the sensitivity and good nature of Mike R in the upstairs shoe and boot department. As a rule, my 88-year old husband doesn't like to buy himself new clothes. But after what feels like weeks in this polar vortex, with him stubbornly trudging and slipping through the snow in old rubber rain boots and a cane, l stopped hinting and put my foot down: we were going to buy him some warm, waterproof boots with cleats. Knowing that he might only put up with one outing, I decided to scout Paragon on my own, first. Mike R. advised me he had only one style of boot that fit what l was looking for and not many sizes left. When he came back with a size in the ballpark, l asked if he could hold it for me. Mike was blunt: he couldn't do any 24-hour holds with the stock so low, but he could hold it for two hours. I thanked him, explaining that if l bought these and presented them to my husband as a done deal he would never even try them on. But we'd be back, within the hour. When we arrived on the floor, Mike picked right up on the dynamic: this was not a customer for a hard sell. And so Mike was the soul of discretion. He kept a low profile, talking quietly and only to me and showed up just often enough to be helpful. He was patient, kind and l got the feeling he was enjoying the challenge of selling without ever even connecting with the guy trying on the boots. And Mike's strategy worked! We made the transition from my husband's original reaction to the only boots in his size ("l hate them!") to walking out with four pairs of socks and that same pair of warm, waterproof boots with cleats. I am deeply grateful to and frankly in awe of Mike R, Paragon boots department. Thank you!

They showed me different options, gave helpful advice, and offered to bring me different sizes and base layer suggestions to try with my ski pants. Unfortunately, I forgot their names, but one was a middle-aged Spanish woman and the other was a young Black woman with blonde curls. They were there on Wednesday around 3:30-4:00 p.m. When I was finished, the Spanish lady even told me about the run club they host on Tuesdays. I really enjoyed my experience at the store because of them!
