My credit card was hacked, and a fraudulent charge for $774 (merchandise) was ordered from this company. Within 12 hours, I notified the company of the fraud, which they acknowledged in writing and stated they would "not ship any merchandise associated with the order". No merchandise ever shipped, left the company, and they did not lose any product or money. Despite that, they still posted the charge to my credit card. When I spoke to them on the phone, they lied and told me they had refunded the money (which they had not) and I could drop the dispute with my credit card company. Two weeks later, charge for $774 still pending... Again, received email confirmation from customer service that no merchandise had left their facility... and that my credit card company had already "charged back" the funds. Another lie. Nearly a month later, and I follow up as to why the charge was still posted... They stated that they were "unable" to refund the money due to the dispute/fraud complaint. Nearly 2 months later, was advised (today) by my credit card company that the investigation is still pending, and that the merchant had "challenged" my dispute. Why? They lost no money, they lost no merchandise, and they are continuing to try to "screw over" someone who was already violated and had their credit card hacked. How can you acknowledge fraud in writing, and then try to " challenge" the dispute? Shameful business practices, dishonest at best... Trying to make a quick buck from someone who's already been violated. Would not do business with this company... Absolutely shameful. read more

Sadly this is not going to be good review sold me several items said in stock sent me tracking number for all three items only one arrived I called no answer left message suddenly I had different tracking number you guessed it nothing arrived called third item no answer left messages got new tracking number one more of the three items and it arrived called again because I got message saying item I bought was not available? in stock on website? they could offer me similar item and not at all similar maybe to them because they have no idea what they are selling yes three weeks wasted waiting for a item they did not have my company burn down in California I really really don't have extra time waste rebuilding my workshop read more

I returned roughly $1800.00 of Athlon Optics scopes because they looked either previously used and or damaged in shipping and it's been more than three months and still no refund from Optics Force and they no longer return my phone calls. I paid close to $100.00 out of my own pocket to ship the return since Optics Force did not follow through in sending me a return shipping label. I spent nearly 20 grand with Optics Force on just one order consisting of mostly Athlon Optics scopes and even Athlon Optics would not help me in this matter so read this and think twice before buying anything from Optics Force or Athlon Optics. read more

This is the 4th optic that I purchased from these guys. They are located in Williamsburg Brooklyn which is not far from my job. They are terrific to deal with, very knowledgeable and friendly. They stock the latest and greatest and when I wanted the new Holosun EPS Carry for my new Sig XMacro. Nobody had it, but they did. If they dont have what I need in stock, they usually get back to me right away with a better price than I could find on my own scouring the internet. I was also looking for a Rangefider and was recommended by the staff the Vortex HD 1400, this thing is the coolest. Although I don't think Id ever shoot 1400 yards, its nice to know my Rangefinder will work that far. I send all my Gun Nut friends there. Customer for life here. read more

I went to a gun specialists to buy my first Rifle and got exactly what I wanted. Now I needed an Optic Scope specialist to help me find the right scope for me and my gun. Optics Force was the answer to that need. I almost missed this well kept secret store. But when I googled the top brands for gun optics, this is the ONLY place in NYC that had them all. I didn't want to buy something online I've never seen in real life. These guys new all the model numbers and features by heart for every scope I saw on YouTube. They were not only knowledgeable but they took each one out of the box to see, touch and try out. Even some very High End optics that I was too afraid to hold in fear I would drop. This is something no online retailer can compete with. I started to google their prices and found that they were the same or less here than I could find them online. To ease my mind they showed me that they were also Authorized Dealers for all those Brand names. From all optic the reviews online I narrowed my search before I got to the store but once I mentioned that I want Vortex Optics Brand they put the top 3 models on the table. Each were the exact ones I was considering. I had 3 employees helping me at Optics Force, each with a different expertise. This was very different from the previous gun store where I had to wait for 1 employee to help each customer at an hour a piece (I spent 4+ hours waiting for help at that other place). I ended up choosing the Vortex Optics Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24 SFP Scope (this is known not to disappoint). I was aiming to buy the cheaper Strike Eagle but after seeing in person the difference; the choice was clear. Having a physical store has always been a preference of mine and I'm glad Optics Force was in my area. It might be the ONLY optics store that I've seen in the three boroughs from my online search. Luckily they had every scope I had questions about, along with EVERY accessory that went with it, in stock. So maybe just 1 store is all I need. Cant wait to come back when I get my next gun to accessorize. They treated me like family here, which was a nice surprise. read more
