Avoid this company at all costs. We were purchasing kippahs for our wedding. We ordered 90 of them, 7 weeks before the wedding. 2 weeks went by and still all I had was an order confirmation email. Since the estimated order delivery time was 2-4 weeks, I figured I would reach out for a status update. The company didn't pick up the phone but they did give me a call back after a few minutes. The man I spoke to told me that my custom design could not fit on the kippah. This is a custom design that was generated using BestKippah.com's own kippah template designer. He suggested some alternative options to lay out the text. I'm sorry, what? Why did the website accept my layout if it was too many lines of text? The email confirmation even had the same layout I designed with no indication it wouldn't work. Also, why were there 2 weeks of my order "processing" while nothing was being done? No one from the company reached out to me to say that the order could not be fulfilled as is. Imagine if I hadn't reached out this morning. If I had just assumed everything would be fine, I would've been royally screwed by this company. The man I spoke to blamed Passover/Pesach for the delay. Except today is April 24th and Pesach ended on April 13th. 11 days later and they are still making excuses. He made it seem like my concerns were not valid. I recommended he reach out to customers about kippahs that cannot be printed rather than sitting around doing nothing. He was dismissive and hung up on me. I cancelled my order. Communication was not great and order processing was super slow. We ordered based on the other reviews which seemed unanimously positive, but working with BestKippah.com ultimately added unnecessary stress to our wedding and if we had it to do over we'd have paid the extra $10 and perhaps gone with AnyBenchers.com or someone else for these items. More details: We placed our order on January 1st and got a confirmation email saying they'd ship soon. Then we heard nothing, so 3 weeks later we emailed in to get an update. They said the benchers were going back into print soon and that they should be ready in another week. 3 weeks after that we still hadn't heard anything, so we checked again. We pushed a little harder this time, given that our wedding is 3 weeks away, and they had them to us by the weekend. But yeah, it took 6-7 weeks. The end products are just fine, and if you don't mind the anxiety of not knowing when they'll show up then this may be a good option for you. Personally I'd like to see these guys start being a little more proactive with communicating their order statuses. It would also be helpful to have a little more than 1 sentence in their replies and to maybe have a person's name to give it a bit of a human touch. There was definitely nothing about this interaction that made me feel like my business was valued or appreciated. Given other options, I'd rather work with someone who does. read more

Unimpressed with their business capabilities. Ordered non-customized kippah and as it did not arrive in time for our event, so I reached out to return them. They were very short with me when I called and then said to reach out by e-mail to arrange the return. I sent them two emails over the course of a couple weeks and no response. I called again and customer service said they usually don't take returns, but took my information and said someone would contact me. Again, no one has reached out and the fact that customer service says they don't take returns normally is against what they have on their website. The kippahs I ordered are unopened, non-customized and I can't get the return done or my money back. Poor customer service and ridiculous that I cannot return these. Recommend using anyone else for your kippah needs. read more

After an exhaustive search for a custom kippah I found on Pinterest, I learned this place was the supplier. The order was placed easily and came sooner than expected. When I finally got around to opening the box, i noticed my custom pattern was sent in 2 colors! I ordered 25 and 9 of them came in a different color. They didn't call and notify me or ask if this would be ok. I was pretty upset and shared this feedback via a friendly email. As I'm going through each one, I am mortified that the inside of one isn't properly made! So now, when I needed 25 of the same pattern, cut short by a different color by 9, I'm now down 10!!! Beyond frustrating! The other two plain colors are fine. But for the cost and lack of caring about customer service, I'd go elsewhere for my next order. read more

Ordered football Kippah's for my son's Bar Mitzvah. They did not let the glue dry on the laces so the sticker inside bled into the white glue when they nested the Kippah's and shipped them. I called to complain and asked them to be redone since it was a month before the event. After several calls, they finally shipped the ORIGINAL Kippah's back to me, they were not redone and not fixed. When I called they kept telling me the shipment was coming, but I think they waited until the last minute to ship them back so there was nothing I could do. I would not recommend this business due to their quality and ethics. read more

We accidentally put off ordering the kippot for my daughter's bat mitzvah until it was almost too late. I contacted several other online kippot sellers (including one we had used a few years ago for my son's bar mitzvah), but was told that they could not process the order in time (in part because of the high holidays). Fortunately, the person I spoke with at Best Kippah said they could personalize and ship the kippot in time (because they do the work in-house). Sure enough, we received the personalized kippot at our house in Indiana two days after placing the order (and with no additional charge for the rush order!).
