Very nice shop! Has a little bit of everything and I love the selection of small things (stickers, maps, jacket pins, post cards). The bow ties and such are made in New York. I think it would be a great place to find a gift! Huge selection of hats, ties, scarves, suspenders... Overall lovely store. Great pricing for such a well curated spot

If you're a gentleman lacking game in the style department, you could use a trip to Fine And Dandy. As is stands, I'm about as dapper as I can be hailing from San Diego and San Francisco. Growing up in Southern California means shorts and t-shirts year round. In San Francisco it's acceptable to dine in a Michelin Star rated restaurant in a hoodie and Chuck Taylors. It's California - it's laid back. I've now been in New York for several years and my wardrobe becomes more and more refined as time passes. But thanks to this men's boutique, I can see that bell curve accelerating faster than ever. Whether you're looking for house made bow ties and scarves or a variety of grooming products, trinkets, suspenders, cocktail books, etc... Fine And Dandy carry a surprisingly huge selection. I say "surprising" because their store can't be more than 300 square feet, yet somehow they have hundreds of different items dotting their store shelves. No single space is wasted, and it's jam packed full of fun items you'll want to have in your arsenal. It's a little *tricky to get to if you don't live in Hell's Kitchen, but it's worth the jaunt. *Tricky = lazy. It's only two avenues from the C and E lines... c'mon!

The shop is loaded with everything you need to complete your outfit for any occasion.

Running short on time, needed to finish my suit with a tie & square, and was struggling. After hitting some big commercial retailers, I found items that would work, but nothing to get excited over. Popped open Yelp, and found 'Fine & Dandy'. Ok, looks good. Popped open Google, and 'Fine & Dandy' has good rep with them too. Short Subway ride and walk, I'm there.. It's a small space, but upon entering, it's highly efficiently used! Stocked with every men's fashion accessory you could need, from hats, socks, all types of ties, ect. I presented my dilemma to the men, along with a swatch of fabric of my girlfriends dress and a pic of my suit. With on minutes, I had several choices to decide from. A little consulting with the GF, came away very happy with the look 'Fine & Dandy' created for my event. Highly reccomend them when your seeking something unique and make your outfit pop.

Its a tiny store chock full of items to keep a man (and woman) fine and dandy. It's a bit pricey but the selection they've amassed is well worth the trip. I brought my bf here and he loved it. I even picked up two lapel pins for myself. I would definitely recommend coming here to pick up gifts for the men in your life.

My last shopping experience for my second suit, unfortunately, made me not want to return. My first experience was with Michael G several years ago. He was extremely nice and helpful, showing me options and explaining the differences in the fabrics and where they were made. The fitting experience was great. I felt good at the end, making a big purchase. Later, I called to get some fitted dress shirts, and they had all my information on file. I trusted Michael and had him ship them to me; I didn't even need to come in; it was a very premium experience. The second time I purchased a suit, the experience was exactly the opposite. The woman who helped me seemed uninterested. She really didn't want to help at all. Given her brash, unenthusiastic behavior, I was hoping to go through the process myself, so I asked if she could pull up the profile Michael had made for me. Turns out they only save the customer measurement details for a year now. Seems ridiculous to save money on basic data storage rather than keeping customer records to expedite and provide good service. When I was trying on the suit, I felt rushed, and she never made me feel confident, which is always appreciated when making a big-ticket purchase. She didn't show me options or explain anything beyond saying the old color I had was no longer available, and the one I was holding was the new version they carried. When I received the suit 2 weeks later, the alterations were sloppy as well. Loose threads and not packed well. You'd think it was a $200 means warehouse rental I received. Just got another suit this month and found out I can get a made-to-measure custom suit in Soho for 30% less! They lost a lifetime customer, as I have been buying suits from Nordstroms since I lived in Chicago starting in 2014.

Needless to say I wasn't impressed by this--you *never* call out an employee in front of customers as he was loudly doing. I wasn't the only one who found it unprofessional; there were at least three other customers in earshot and I heard one make a comment about it. The salesman helping me out was fine and attentive enough, but we were all cringing. Get it together, Nordstrom Men's Store!

She gave me excellent recommendations, helped me put together the perfect combinations, and even taught me a few things that I'll definitely carry into my makeup routine moving forward. What stood out most was her patience and professionalism. Even in such a busy store, while working alone, she managed multiple customers flawlessly and with ease. It was honestly impressive and beautiful to watch her handle everything so smoothly without ever making anyone feel rushed. On top of that, she made sure to tell me about current promotions, which helped me save tremendously. I ended up purchasing all of her recommendations and couldn't be happier. Has three floors in total in which each floor caters to different categories like heattech + men's + women's + children apparel + graphic tees. There's even a Uniqlo coffee shop on the 2nd floor. A large fake Christmas tree is placed in the center when first walking inside through the entrance. Then, a huge red escalator of heading up and down to each floor is behind the tree. Additionally. everything's either being neatly organized or stacked on most of the shelves and inside drawers except for a couple of areas here and there. The price range is reasonable for most apparel items besides the thick puffer jackets + sweaters + graphic tees. Even though there seem to be signs for the fitting room and cashiers/self-checkout, it's still pretty confusing to walk around and find stuff imo because of how large the Uniqlo space is. I have to flag down and ask different staff about the whereabouts of cashiers as I'm paying with cash. There's a bit of a line for those paying by cash despite several 5-6 cashiers being present while no line at all for self-checkout (card only). No line for the fitting room though. Generally, staff is shown as helpful + amiable + patient in a professional manner towards customers. My favorite section is probably by the heattech area. There're 3 various heattech types of warmth for both adults and children. Of course you can wear whichever layer as you please at the end of the day. All the desired temperatures are simply suitable for preferred reference anyway. The Original (Mild Weather) - 5°C to 20°C or 41°F to 68°F Extra Warmth (Colder Days) - -5°C to 15°C or 23°F to 59°F Ultra Warm (Extreme Cold) - -20°C to 10°C or -4°F to 50°F I think The Original layer of heattech is already pretty warm for the 30s-40s temperature here in NYC. The fabric is the thinnest in material. Very comfy to wear without being too stuffy on the inside. I bought two long sleeved heattech pieces today ($19.90 each). They also come in different colors and styles that might be suited to the personal taste of each and every customer. I'm not sure if they have a restroom for the public, will have to search for it next time...
