This place is so cool. It has a unique and large selection of pocket squares, ties and anything else a well dressed gentleman may need. The prices are very good considering you are in NYC as well. Whenever I'm back in the City I'll be sure to stop in and pick something up! read more

We needed suspenders for tuxedo pants and they had a wide choice. Excellent service, fine merchandise and a great niche store for new and vintage items. I highly recommend them. read more

Great place to find vintage clothing, and all eclectic & fashionable menswear accessories (ties, bowties, suspenders, socks, scarves, hats, jewelry, cologne, etc). Nice place to find ties and accessories with character & style versus what known menswear stores offer! Both owners are outstanding, personable & very knowledgeable about menswear! Great value on items also! read more

Very nice shop! Has a little bit of everything and I love the selection of small things (stickers, maps, jacket pins, post cards). The bow ties and such are made in New York. I think it would be a great place to find a gift! Huge selection of hats, ties, scarves, suspenders... Overall lovely store. Great pricing for such a well curated spot read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Matt went so far above and beyond to make sure I got the very specific item I was looking for. The shop is simply darling and you can get wonderful pieces of value for moderate prices! read more

Great costumer service!! I went in looking for a hat and the owner helped me find the right one. Great vintage clothes and little artifacts. I could explore the store for hours. read more

I totally stumbled on this place by accident, which is one of the great things about taking random streets in NYC, but I'm sad that I didn't know about it before. Funny story: I thought my friend Matthew Sackel would love it, I sent him picture later and he was already intimately familiar with the shop and had been ordering from there for years and knew the owners! The sign and peek inside the window stopped me in my tracks and we went in to explore. It's filled wall-to-wall with so many items that there isn't a square inch unused, everything is charming and worth exploring. We got scarfs and I got some knot-style cufflinks. They have been online for a while, I'm joining their mailing list! May I aspire to their style https://fineanddandyshop.com/ read more

If you're a gentleman lacking game in the style department, you could use a trip to Fine And Dandy. As is stands, I'm about as dapper as I can be hailing from San Diego and San Francisco. Growing up in Southern California means shorts and t-shirts year round. In San Francisco it's acceptable to dine in a Michelin Star rated restaurant in a hoodie and Chuck Taylors. It's California - it's laid back. I've now been in New York for several years and my wardrobe becomes more and more refined as time passes. But thanks to this men's boutique, I can see that bell curve accelerating faster than ever. Whether you're looking for house made bow ties and scarves or a variety of grooming products, trinkets, suspenders, cocktail books, etc... Fine And Dandy carry a surprisingly huge selection. I say "surprising" because their store can't be more than 300 square feet, yet somehow they have hundreds of different items dotting their store shelves. No single space is wasted, and it's jam packed full of fun items you'll want to have in your arsenal. It's a little *tricky to get to if you don't live in Hell's Kitchen, but it's worth the jaunt. *Tricky = lazy. It's only two avenues from the C and E lines... c'mon! read more

Thank you Ruggy for always finding new and interesting places for Yelpers to explore and this place was exceptional! There was a Yelp local holiday shop event here tonight and boy was I glad I made it here. It is a bit of a trek Uptown for me, but somehow, I knew I would not be disappointed. I don't usually find myself in an all men's retail store, but since it is the holidays, I needed to find splendid unique gifts for all the XY specimens in my life. From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a good experience. The store caters to the dandy man in your life and well, I have a few of those around... Holiday music playing, beautiful merchandise everywhere, from bow ties to suspenders to sock garters to pocket watches, you will find something for every single debonair and suave man in your life here. Enrique and Matt, the proprietors of the shop, were very knowledgeable, courteous, nice and helpful. They help me find 75% of the gifts I needed! Yea, shopping during the holidays doesn't need to stressful when coming here. I was able to snag a bow tie (1 for $55 and 2 for $99), a money clip ($29), a tie pin ($29) and a great vintage book all for around $100. Thanks again Ruggy, Enrique and Matt for a wonderful experience. I'll be sure to come back when I need more gifts for that special XY someone... read more

The best vintage store in NYC in my opinion Henrique was an amazing host and showed me so many pieces in the showroom after I told him about what I was interested in! I will always make an effort to stop by when In the city. So many one of a kind pieces in amazing condition!!! read more

I love love love love love this store. I knew it as "the dapper store" because of its sign outside that attracted us to go inside. Bow ties, ties, tie bars, tie clips, unique handmade accessories for men. You can even get a free bow tie tying lesson with certificate! Vintage yet modern. Come inside. It's small, but you are sure to find something special in here. read more

Shoes...check, suit...check, and shirt... check. But oh wait what about cuff links, a flask, pocket square, suspenders, belts, bow ties, socks, shoe horns, tie clip, and lapel pin? Don't you fret fine gentleman. Fine and Dandy is here to save the day so you can accessorize to the point of being the most dapper man at whatever function you are going to. I have spent a good amount of time chatting with the owners and learned that just about everything is for sale if you are willing to pay the right price (except for family heirlooms of course). They also have sweaters, scarves, hats, pillows, gentleman's guides, and much more that I am forgetting at this very moment. Thanks to these guys I killed it at the jazz age lawn party, my friends wedding, at work constantly, and on random Tuesday evenings when I feel like snazzying up. It may be a little out of the way and a tiny bit pricey but it is a fantastic store and worth checking out if you can make your way past 9th avenue. read more

Running short on time, needed to finish my suit with a tie & square, and was struggling. After hitting some big commercial retailers, I found items that would work, but nothing to get excited over. Popped open Yelp, and found 'Fine & Dandy'. Ok, looks good. Popped open Google, and 'Fine & Dandy' has good rep with them too. Short Subway ride and walk, I'm there.. It's a small space, but upon entering, it's highly efficiently used! Stocked with every men's fashion accessory you could need, from hats, socks, all types of ties, ect. I presented my dilemma to the men, along with a swatch of fabric of my girlfriends dress and a pic of my suit. With on minutes, I had several choices to decide from. A little consulting with the GF, came away very happy with the look 'Fine & Dandy' created for my event. Highly reccomend them when your seeking something unique and make your outfit pop. read more

Its a tiny store chock full of items to keep a man (and woman) fine and dandy. It's a bit pricey but the selection they've amassed is well worth the trip. I brought my bf here and he loved it. Fine And Dandy - Accessories Near Me - New York, New York

I went here a week ago to get an off beat bow tie for an upcoming wedding. They have some really trendy and cool stuff, but most importantly, great service. As someone who is relatively vanilla when it comes to style, Enrique recommended a perfect bow tie and pocket square combination, that I would have never considered, for my tux. Definitely coming back next time I'm ready for something dapper. Prices are relatively high though. read more

If you're in Manhattan and need to accessorize your look, search no further than Fine And Dandy. From bow ties and tie clips to zany-colored shoe laces or suspenders, they have the best selection you could hope for. It may be off the beaten path, but it's worth a short jaunt down the street off of 9th Avenue to get there. At the time of this review, they have 21 reviews on Yelp...all 21 of which are 5 stars. I've never seen this before. But it's warranted. read more

Such a great find! The owners were very nice, friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. The things you'll find here you'll most likely have a hard time finding online. Still being able to see and feel a product before making the decision to purchase is such a great thing. I like how the products are placed and showcased within the store. It's almost like buying fancy clothing pieces from a high-society museum. Thanks for treating this visitor from California well. Will definitely come back next time and recommend to others! read more

What a gem! My wife found this place when she was looking through yelp for where to shop in NYC! We only came to new York for a few days but this was a definite MUST! We will definitely be back! read more

Really a neat little gem. These guys have been running their business online for some time now and decided that they should make a run at a brick and mortar store. The location they chose is unfortunately off the beaten path, but the cozy little store is filled with unique, handsome, largely hand-made in NYC/USA accessories that are all pretty reasonably priced. This is the sort of place that one can really only find in New York. The guys (couple?) who run it are very knowledgable, friendly, pleasant and themselves quite fashionable. At least one of them is manning the store at any given moment. I won't hesitate to recommend this place to my friends who are looking for interesting, unique clothes for a reasonable price. cheers. read more

The guys who run the place f'n rule and kudos to Ruggy for putting together the event to highlight Fine and Dandy. There's only a few places like this around the city and the selection here skews more toward their own label as opposed to other people's merchandise. With that in mind it's a tightly curated selection of tasteful grooming products and other haberdashery. So if you are just out of university and are still unashamedly sporting the douchy backwards baseball cap plus cargo shorts/sweat pants plus the stupid Dave Matthews Band shirt and wondering why the members of the opposite sex (or the same sex) never approach you to roll around with them, this place is a good place to start the process of de-dorking yourself. And even if you are too cheap to really invest in your personal appearance, as most of the stuff here seems to be $29, the damage to the wallet will be lighter vs going to the department stores which won't have nearly the array of cool stuff to be found here. Not many other places where you can stop in and get a real metal cigarette case, a bowler hat, a whiskey flask, and a walking stick with a hidden compass (would have been more dramatic of it had a knife). Goddam makes me want to take up smoking and drinking again. read more

Great store. I bought their handmade handkerchiefs a couple of time, and although it seemed to be priced a bit high initially, they use fabrics that are really lasting and wouldn't get decolorized or anything. Great selection on ties and cufflinks, too. Also, surprisingly the best store to buy greeting cards!! Ditch papyrus or hallmarks and go here, if you want to show off your good taste during holiday season. It is small but truly a gem in this nabe read more

I stopped into this shot on a whim, at a friend's recommendation while wandering Hell's Kitchen, and it was the best thing I did on my trip to NYC! This tiny shop, tucked into a garden-level store space was like stepping back in time to an era of dapperly dressed academics and men about town, with floor to ceiling ties, hats, suspenders, pocket square, accessories and more! I was the only patron in the shop (it was prime brunching hour, so everyone in the area seemed occupied with mimosas and gossip,) and the owner offered me beer or seltzer to help my browsing along. Helpful and attentive, without being too obtrusive or slick in his sales pitch, he helped me pick out two beautiful bowties, custom-made for the store (#exclusive). He even showed me alternative ways to tie my ties! The attention to detail even went so far as a hand-written receipt - the while vibe was awesome. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for some vintage/retro-turned-hip accessories to pep up your look! read more

Just so amazing the best the guys who owe this shop are wonderful too do business with your going to fall in love with this place 10+ stars

Amazing boutique store, and super friendly owners. They design most of their own products, and you'll struggle to find more knowledgeable gents in the city about men's fashion. I came to the store with no idea about New York fashion, and left with a much more firm grasp of how I'd like to present myself. They offer to amazing and expert advice. The goods are also very well priced for such unique and high quality products. read more

In NYC for the winter, from LA...with no winter coat...I did some research online and found Fine and Dandy. I could see they specialize in accessories, so I called ahead to let them know I was in search of a winter coat. Enrique said he would prepare a selection of coats for me. I arrived the next day at appointed time. Enrique and Matt provided first class service and selection. I departed happily with a "deal closing" coat. I look forward to my next Fine and Dandy shopping experience. Thank You. read more

5 Stars is not enough! This store is an absolute gem, packed with accessories from head to toe. It is a tiny store, but packed with super cool vintage and new items, as well as owners who are just the most genuine and cool guys you'll meet. I "needed" some last minute ideas for Kentucky Derby accessories and I wish I had just started with them for the whole outfit. I ended up with a great silk handkerchief but I barely scratched the surface of all the cool belts, hats, ties, vests, cufflinks, and other great pieces. On top of that, they have a very impressive collection of vintage leather briefcases and bags that are reasonably priced by any standards and borderline cheap by NY prices! No pushy sales talk - more like a friend letting you borrow anything you want from the best closet ever! read more

So you've got a great suit, smart shirt and perfectly unscuffed shoes. Now what? There is no better place in Manhattan for essential accessories than Fine and Dandy. Ties, bow ties, suspenders, pocket squares, wool caps and spats -- yes, spats -- that you won't find anywhere else.
