She was amazing and also very ahoy and excited to be performing. They make it so fun. It's very relaxed and casual so the parents can really sit back and enjoy watching there child and the other children as well. Aimee who runs the program is lovely. She always makes a point to tell me how well my daughter is doing and gives me as much feedback as necessary. They will provide leotards if you forget one and they are willing to bring the kids upstairs after class to make it convenient for you. Also they do a school pickup. Accept for one little hiccup that has gone rather smoothly. We definitely plan to continue with gymstars in the new year.

She is now on the team and practices 9 hours a week. I am so very impressed with the founder and owner Cristina and all the wonderful coaches. They push my daughter to her full potential but in a caring, nurturing environment. Gymnastics kept my daughter busy through the pandemic and summer months. They did such a great job with Covid-19 protocols, in fact maybe the best where they kept the virus out of their gym. By far the best place to send a budding gymnast for fun or if they want to move up the levels and one day compete. Thumbs up all around.

In lieu of the standard "fitness class", Movement Brooklyn focuses on incorporating movements from a variety of disciplines to help folks more efficiently and without pain. We can't wait to incorporate more movement classes into our workout routine! Kyle and Alexa have systemized their approach to teaching proper movement; the cross functional aspect of the curriculum makes every class unique yet applicable to one another. Speaking of, the location is the best in terms of options for your day or night.There is so much to do in this neighborhood and the studio is gently tucked away on a quiet block in the heart of one of the coolest parts of Brooklyn or arguably NYC. The guidance you receive at 5th Wall is the best. The instructors, a family run co., come from a long lineage of movement arts like dance, gymnastics, and all things in the air. They have pretty much done it all which means guess who benefits from all that knowledge?! You! When I say guidance, I don't just mean physically either. Their approach to teaching every class is highly intuitive, conveyed with a full presence of the moment your in. They never check out, they are always right there supporting you in every way they can. Literally holding your feet above your head or giving you the courage to be bigger than you think you can be. Classes here have an excellent sense of structure which in turn leads to better function and they always keep it light! Laughter is abundant. Keys to success in life! Laugh and play! We are incredibly lucky they have opened their home, their heart for what they do and their mind to teach us how to be better movers. The vibe in this studio is a welcome change from multi purposed spaces with different classes and people coming in and out. My daughter kept asking about enrollment she was very interested in doing gymnastics,so i tried again and that worked out better. One class and she loved it. I must saw they were very accommodating about moving my payment to a different day than other people because of when we enrolled. BUT that discount they say they will give you if you pay with your bank account is bull. I've never gotten a discount for my e check. She is the worst of all don't waste your time. She is unpleasant and impolite. Not very unhelpful and extremely disrespectful. If only they made sure they accommodated you as they charge you. First, make sure they explain the payment situation so they don't make new rules as is beneficial for them. They have a pay-per-class or pay for four weeks in advance. Apparently, it doesn't work like that. My daughter signed up for 4 weeks of classes which were paid for in advance as they should or as the policy seems to be. At the end of her 4 week classes, my ex-husband couldn't go to Ninas to make a payment. We wanted to sign her up for another 4 weeks but my ex husband had a family emergency and couldn't make it to pay and there is no contract. He paid the following week and they charged last weeks class that wasnt paid for as if that was part of the package when I inquired because to my knowledge you paid for your classes in full. The receptionist was like no no no that class count. That class was never paid so why should it count? I even witness another parent having to deal with the same situation. New policies need to be made. One were the parents are sure of what they are getting themselves into with this establishment.

I trust that my daughter is safe there whenever I leave her for practice. The coaches are great, and they treat the children as their own. Some might say they are mean to them, but I'd say they are just teaching them discipline. Something I never experienced there is being harassed for payment. Some might call it harassment but I call it a reminder. I actually appreciate the reminders. I never regretted enrolling my daughter to Nina's, and I highly recommend Nina's if your child wants to be a gymnast.

I persisted in her attending because I am a mom that holds her child accountable to a commitment. Second, there is ZERO communication by the owners to the patrons. I am a working mom who relies on a nanny to bring my child for classes. No emails are sent on re-registration. This is unacceptable. I guess this establishment only caters to their own kind and refuses to move along with current methods of customer service and experience. Plenary of other options that don't have inefficient, rude staff. I will be taking my business elsewhere and encourage you to think twice before sending your child here!

Apparently it was in a brochure in tiny print on the back...We attempted two times to come to class. Both times it was closed. They didn't answer the phone every time we called during business hours. In January when I asked about the closed dates again (as had paid for those days) they would not admit any mistakes. Instructor proceeded to get in a fight with me, telling me my version of events was 'impossible'. Rather than admit any kind of responsibility for the miscommunication, they blamed it all on me. I asked for a refund of January and promptly left. No understanding or flexibility here!! Just plain rudeness. We're not coming back and have lived a block away for ten+ years.
