She not only serves the…read moreneeds of my physical body with her expertise and compassion but she has impacted my psyche in such a calming supportive way as well. She is literally a well spring of knowledge on nutrition and Pilates. I trust her implicitly. The combination of her knowledge base and who she is as a person allows one to feel truly taken care of from a professional point of view and, in my words, I would say also from a spiritual point of view. She teaches no spirituality. I don't mean that. I mean that the sheer love she had for Pilates and nutrition and her caring nature, for me, have translated into raising my consciousness. I know my body and myself better as a result of knowing her. Plus I look grrreat!

I've tried PT, massage, and yoga .... and so far only Pilates really takes my pain away. She has experience and pushes you to do a very tough workout without going overboard. Her equipment is clean and the space - while located in her home - feels private, neutral, and professional. If you sit at a desk all day, suffer from back pain, or just want to feel better and get in shape, I recommend this instructor! Also, her prices are competitive with the neighborhood... my other instructor charged $10 more per hour.

I highly recommend Luisa as a personal trainer!! She's wonderful to work with and was great at…read moreworking around my busy work schedule. We ended up doing a combination of in-person and virtual visits based on what was best for my schedule. I also appreciated the precautions she takes around COVID. She's also just extremely knowledgeable about the human body, which made me feel very confident in the exercises she led me in and guidance she gave. If an exercise ever felt weird, she always seems to know exactly what muscle I need to stretch/open up. Luisa was able to meet me where I was at, taking it a little slow at first, but then she really kicked our sessions up a notch when she realized I had some of the basics down. I loved that she sent me videos of the exercises for me to save and practice on my own. Overall, a great experience and I would work with her again anytime I needed a personal trainer.

If you are looking for custom training with long-term impact, and are willing to put the work in, Luisa is outstanding. We have been working together about 2x a week for over 4 months and I have unlocked strength in my body and aligned my body in ways I could not have imagined. The knowledge you gain from Luisa is for life.

I was devastated to have hated this studio :( I love OTF and was excited to try this studio since…read moreit's close by. Pros: staff is friendly and knowledgeable, facilities are clean Cons: Terrible studio set up !!! It's NYC and they can't control this, but i can't pay $30 / class to feel like im in danger. The rowers are literally directly behind the treadmill. They have you do some floor work in front of the rowers too, so while somebody is going "all out" and sprinting on the treds, your face is like 6" from their ass. If somebody trips (you OR them) somebody is going to be seriously injured. Another con is the music. Usually studios have a good cohesive playlist going, but this studio was terrible. They started with latin music, then switched to blink182? Then gaga and megan the stallion? then suddenly cut the music and switched to hardcore rap, then back to latin music. It sounded like they hit a random music generator button. it would be better if they just picked a general lane and stuck to that. Truly never knew what was gonna come next lol (in the worst way) If music and feeling safe isn't important to you, this studio is fine.

I dragged myself to an early morning class just so I could finally try the InBody scan, something I…read morewas actually pretty excited about. When I got there, though, I was told the scan had to be done before class and since there was no time before class it couldn't be done today (wish this information was given to me prior), when I asked nicely and said I'd be comfortable doing it post-workout - the person at the desk refused to budge and honestly came off a little combative. Then during class, my heart rate monitor didn't even work for half the time, so none of my effort got tracked -super frustrating. On top of that, they gave me the wrong monitor... which happened to belong to another Indian person. Coincidence? Hmm. Overall just a really disappointing experience. Not what I expected at all from this studio.

They've implemented a program that has gotten me in much better shape. There's no gimmicks or fads, either, unlike some other trainers I've seen. The prices are very fair, too, and they don't pressure you into training with a trainer three times a week with a trainer if you don't want to (and don't want to pay for that) --- it's all been very tailored to what I was looking for. If you've come this far, email them and give it a shot!

With so many other programs, I feel like I'm being set up to fail. But I was amazed at how quickly I went from dreading the exercise to actually canceling plans because I didn't want to sacrifice my workout. My body definitely responded to the routine, which has continued beyond the 'last day' of the Reboot. Camille herself is a wonderful support and really makes me feel comfortable. She'll explain why I'm doing what I'm doing in a way that doesn't make me feel stupid, which I really appreciate. She's the personal training version of a non-judgmental sommelier (yeah, they're rare...I know)! Highly recommended!!!
