They have you do some floor work in front of the rowers too, so while somebody is going "all out" and sprinting on the treds, your face is like 6" from their ass. If somebody trips (you OR them) somebody is going to be seriously injured. Another con is the music. Usually studios have a good cohesive playlist going, but this studio was terrible. They started with latin music, then switched to blink182? Then gaga and megan the stallion? then suddenly cut the music and switched to hardcore rap, then back to latin music. It sounded like they hit a random music generator button. it would be better if they just picked a general lane and stuck to that. Truly never knew what was gonna come next lol (in the worst way) If music and feeling safe isn't important to you, this studio is fine.

The prices are very fair, too, and they don't pressure you into training with a trainer three times a week with a trainer if you don't want to (and don't want to pay for that) --- it's all been very tailored to what I was looking for. When you get in, you can…read morehang your coat by the front and there are a lot of lockers as you walk in right across from the lockers, there is a refresh station with deodorant, lotion, dry shampoo, a plastic bag for wet clothing, mints, tissues, face wipes. There's also a blow dryer. There is a water refill station right before you enter the studio. The studio is a rectangle so there's one row in the back and one row in the front. I've taken a class before in the east village, but never in this studio. I don't remember much except I love the music, which is why I go and it did not disappoint this time either. the class had the instructor announced positions, which is fine, but I do wish she could've demonstrated since I'm not an avid Yogi. You do about three or four different flows and then after you learn one flow, you have three minutes to do it on your own. that part I didn't really enjoy because sometimes I would forget the sequence and just felt lost. I could've done without that part and just had More instruction.
