We never discussed goals or how we were going to approach any weight loss. She was completely unprofessional and when i told her i was disappointed and wanted a refund, she said she didn't have any money and couldn't do anything about it. For those…read more30-60 minutes, you will be moving, sweating, moving some more, sweating some more, you get the picture. Mike is one of the most strategic technical trainers that I have ever met! In high school psychology, I learned about gestalt or something that is more than the sum of its parts. Gestalt totally describes Mike's workout strategy. Depending on the workout that you are doing i.e. 4x4 beginning, 4x4 intermediate, the gauntlet, you will do 4-5 rounds. In each round, you will do 2 sets of each exercise and within each set, you will do anywhere from 5 to 30+ reps. In the beginning of each round when Mike first explains each exercise, nothing looks or sounds too crazy, but put together, oh baby, you feel the burn and that round somehow becomes more challenging than you thought it would be. Despite that challenge and the fatigue that you will definitely encounter, Mike makes the whole experience positive and always is watching your form. The most challenging part of the workout is remembering the exercises and number of reps for each exercise for each round and then keeping track of how many reps you have done. Only recommendation I would add is perhaps getting dry erase markers and writing out the exercises on the mirror and the number of reps for that round. Major bonus points to Mike for always remembering clients' names!

I jumped at the chance to participate and and help out (since I was studying to get certified myself as a personal trainer)! So this review speaks to the demo classes he ran over the summer that I participated in. The Mom Rocks sessions were amazing for me last summer! Heyward uses a mix of cardio, strength, endurance and fun with the kids to keep the class interactive and effective. My son Jack loved being outdoors with me and I was able to meet other moms in my neighborhood. Heyward is able to listen to each mom's needs and understand her boundaries while still getting amazing results. Every session is fresh and my muscles thank me for it days afterwards! Mom Rocks should be picking up again once the weather warms up and I fully intend to participate in more sessions! I'm also going to be helping out with the classes so don't be surprised to see me there running drills!

I moved out of state in the summer and knew FOR SURE I would not use the sessions so I reached out again because I needed the money and no response again! I received an email when the franchise reopened in October, yet again, I reached out about a refund and no one got back to me. EXTREMELY POOR management on the owner's part. I will never recommend a place that does not take care of the people (the independent trainers) making them money.
