Pier 25 mini golf is one of the high-value activities you can do in the city with a group, and it's a lot of fun. The staff takes pretty good care of the course, there are fantastic views of the city, and it's just a chill vibe playing 18 holes through the trees. You won't find windmills, loop-de-loops, or other fun obstacles here; it seems as though it's designed to be played by people of all ages, so it's not extremely difficult, and most holes are pretty short. Certainly not the best mini golf course I've ever played, but it's Manhattan's only outdoor course, adults play for less than $15/person, and you can enjoy some time outside close to the city skyline. It's definitely worth going!

Location: 225 West St, New York, NY 10013 Customer Service: Normal, nothing special. Ambience: Clean and has Hudson river view. Nice at night but cold during the winter so please dress accordingly. It has a very cute resto near it as well should you wanna try it. Fee: $10 per head, last time we went end of Dec 2023. First time to try mini golf, I thought it's a boring sport. But surprisingly I enjoyed it and wanted to do it again maybe a different obstacle this time. This is a must try activity though if you happen to be around the area.

This is a review of the Science Playground that just opened about a month ago. It's listed as "Pier 26 Science Playground", but it's by Pier 25 instead. It's a very cool play-space, with two gigantic sturgeons kids can enter and climb. Weekends are beyond crowded, but I bet it's pretty calm on weekdays and early am Saturdays or Sundays. There's s lot to explore and climb and the structures are cool and original.

Despite the rainy weather, our mini-golf experience turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable. The course was well-maintained, and the wet conditions added an extra layer of challenge that made the game even more fun. The staff was friendly and did a great job of keeping everything running smoothly despite the rain. We had to buy ponchos. I thought they were a bit pricey but the rain started really coming down. Parking, however, was a bit tricky. Im glad we went on the weekend because after looking around for awhile we found a spot. But considering the reasonable price for a round of mini-golf, it was worth the minor inconvenience. All in all, it was a great outing, and the rain didn't dampen our spirits!

I came to the mini golf center many years ago for my 18th birthday. That was a little over 10 years ago. I came here most recently with a group and played a round of mini golf. The course was challenging but fun all the same. I loved the music selection, and the decorations were pretty cool. I especially loved the part where it looked like you could walk through a cave. I also loved that it was directly next to the water. They had a cafe too which was nice. One of us had ordered a sandwich and it looked delicious. The only weird things were that you couldn't choose the color ball that you wanted because too many people had stolen the ball afterward. They also got rid of the ability to win a free game if you got a hole-in-one on the last round. Overall though I loved the experience and I loved having my birthday there as well.

The line for mini golf was quite long - about a 30 to 45 minute wait. Once we got in, golfing all 18 holes took about 1.5 hours just because of waiting on people in front of us, but it was nice because the holes were relatively shaded. The course is nothing very elaborate, but it was a nice escape from the city right on a pier, and it only cost $10 for a pretty fun activity. Even though I had fun golfing, I am not sure I would go again just because the course wasn't particularly interesting, and we had to wait quite a long time to get in.

Cute place to have fun and enjoy the view of Jersey City. Very busy though, lines were long, and had to wait for every course. $10 per person with one club and ball $2 per bag for bag check

Such a cute activity to do with a group of friends, significant other, and suitable for children. My girlies and I, have been back twice now and each time we had a great experience! There's 18 courses with a beautiful waterfront view of the Jersey City skyline. Adults are $10 and children are $5, for your own golf club and ball to return when finished.

Pier 25 is a place to see and experience a variety of activities...If you want to engage in sports or physical extracurricular activities then Pier 25 has got it! "It" means a slew of things from sports to eateries! Glancing at the website, I saw on one particular Sunday that Pier 25 was having a "Shell-ebrate Oyster 2018" Workshop and I was intrigued....I wondered what this workshop was all about and needed to get more information-lol. Arriving after registering for the workshop online and eating brunch at City Vineyard at Pier 26, I was amazed to learn so much about Oysters. Did you know that oysters help address water pollution and that they have such a historical impact on our lives?! It was so cool to not only learn about oysters in general but to have the staff pull oysters out of the water so that we could touch and interact w/ them...It was wonderful! After the oyster workshop, it was nice to see other things offered at Pier 25...the skating park, mini-golf, volleyball areas, the Hudson River Outdoor Movie Screenings, the children's park, the boating sections and outdoor playground areas. The views are breathtaking! At the end of the pier, it was so lovely to see Grand Banks which is a restaurant on a boat docked on the outermost section of Pier 25. Grand Banks takes reservations as well as walk-ins, depending on the day and time that parties choose to hang out. Grand Banks is a quaint and divine place to dine! Pier 25 has something for everyone!

Had a fantastic solo visit yesterday. Wanted to get in some cardio and sightseeing. Trust me! This pier needs to be on your bucket list of NYC locations to visit. The view is simply gorgeous. Tribeca has always been one of my favorite areas to come visit during the summer. I have spent many of spring & summer mornings gazing out into the sky and watching the cruise lines + yachts. There are restaurants available on the pier, as well as many within the area. There is a Whole Foods very close by if you want to grab some treats, and beverages to keep you hydrated before heading over to the pier. You can bring a small blanket if you like to lay out in the grass or sit in one of the many designated areas filled with benches to enjoy the scenery. This pier is absolutely kid friendly! In fact many of the summer programs within NYC use areas throughout the pier to engage children in outdoor learning activities. This is pier is baby friendly as well; and depending on the time & day- you will see activities with parents and small children engaging in "learning through play" and other bonding resources for families. The area is very safe. Bring some comfy shoes it's a lot of areas to explore. It's also fantastic for photos!!

Soooo many bodies!…read more I'm guilty of visiting this playground only on weekends, but "crowded", here, takes a new meaning. Make sure to repeatedly warn your child of paying attention to kids running wild in all directions. Parents seem to be MIA... The playground is quite modern... there's even a half sphere kids can climb on (bare feet, or it won't work). Plenty of swings and climbable options. The place is divided into two areas for children of different ages... both very crowded (did I mention that?). There's a slide kids can use after climbing over big rocks... not the safest option when there are too many kids lining up (and pushing each other) to do it. With little else around to have your child move, this is the forced option. The silver lining is that you're in freaking Union Square, with all sorts of food (or booze... you may need some after a visit to this place) available to you.

We were on our 4th game of 5 on 5 on this slanted, slippery court with double rims as the Midtown skyline looked over us. We had gone 3-0 and already on wobbly legs but wanted one more to really push ourselves to exhaustion and be WHOOPED. A group of 5 17 year olds showed up and I was lowkey like damn I don't wanna play these little kids for our last game but whatever, they got next. We were going back and forth, and to be fair they were actually pretty good but just too frail to give us any problems. At 5'10 174 lbs, I'm a BIG guard. I'm left handed, but shot a right handed floater fading to my right as I'm trying to get better. If you can hit a weak hand floater on the run you will be tough to stop. I bricked it and this little 17 year old kid goes "that's a TERRIBLE shot" looking at me dead in the eyes. Like bro y'all are losing and you suck why you talking? He woke me up and I started actually trying really hard and lowkey busting their ass... but tbh normally I'm not even that good. It was just one of those days where everything was falling. I hit a 3 and yelled out "THAT'S A LAYUP." I drove hard left, euro stepped and hit a tough finish through 2 and yelled "I"M TOO BIG," while flexing. I switched onto little homie and he took a terrible stepback shot after I turned him 3 times and bricked it. I just whispered to him "I don't even gotta say nothing after that one it speaks for itself" which really pissed him off. Then I hit the game winning 3 and did the Dame wave to him as he walked off the court PISSED as hell. I sat down and then he got the courage to say "STOP TALKING SO MUCH" while he put his hand together to mimic me YAPPING. I almost stood up and said "HOW BOUT U GET WIN?" But then I realized I'm a grown ass man and there is absolutely no reason to be jawing at this little kid on a beautiful Friday in New York City. I just kind of laughed at myself and asked what is wrong with me lol. All in all, these runs were kind of weak and this court is in horrendous condition. The court on the westside highway is still my favorite in the city. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews
